PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY. The purpose of the Program is, to provide a means of training and developing an existing single trade technician at Burrard Products Terminal to a dual trade technician. It will provide the individual tradesperson with recognized qualifications in the form of a Provincial certificate of proficiency. The Department reviews grievances and appeals primarily to assure that MCOs follow their own internal grievance and appeal policies and procedures and comply with the requirements of this agreement in handling any disputes with members. For more information about the Department review process see Section F of this article. 4. The State Fair Hearing process is the final decision-making process for the Department in resolving members’ appeals. It is described more fully in Section G of this article. 5. Other remedies available to members may include Wis. Admin. § DHS 94, Patient Rights and Resolution of Patient Grievances and seeking resolution in Circuit Court.

The Company and the Union recognize and accept the responsibility to strive to create and maintain a positive work environment. To accomplish the same for the present and the future, all employees shall have the following responsibilities: (a) support and abide by reasonable standards of conduct and attendance policies; (b) promote good housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment; (c) promote efficient work processes and continually look for opportunities to make the operation more efficient; (d) achieve quality goals and improve quality standards.

PURPOSE AND PHILOSOPHY. A. The Special Education Preschool Program is a joint center-based program housed at East Evergreen Elementary School within Evergreen School District #50. The fiscal host for the program is Evergreen School District #50. The program provides preschool services to children ages 3 through 5 who are residents of the participating school districts and who meet eligibility criteria under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and demonstrate a need for services in a center-based preschool. B. The Evergreen Special Services Preschool provides a comprehensive developmental approach to meeting the needs of children with disabilities. The center-based preschool program is but one component of a full range of continuum options available to eligible students including services in the home, local school district or in collaboration with other agencies through the Co-op. The center-based preschool program offers inclusive learning opportunities with children who are not disabled, in addition to specially designated instruction.
