RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS. 4.01 The wage schedule is attached hereto and forms a part of this Agreement.
RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS. The schedule is attached hereto, and forms part of this Agreement. If during the life of this Agreement, a significant change in job content occurs in any job classification listed in the attached wage schedule the rate thereto shall be adjusted by negotiations between the parties. Upon failure to reach agreement, the matter may be referred to Stage III of the Grievance Procedure. When changes are to be made in operating methods including major alterations in established work patterns requiring the establishment of new job classifications, the Company will give the Union at least days advance notice in writing. During the day period prior to the implementation of such changes, upon request by the Union, the Company will meet with the Union, and discuss such changes. For the new job classifications the Company shall set temporary rates. Any such rates will be based on compar- xxxx with prevailing rates for similar and/or related occupa- tions in the wage schedule. Following the implementation of such changes, negotiations for rates covering the new job classifications resulting from such changes shall commence without delay. After agreement is reached such rates shall become part of the attached schedule. In the event that the parties do not reach agreement on the rates for the new classifications within of the effective date of the alterations matter may be referred to Stage III of the Grievance procedure. The period may be extended by mutual consent of the parties. rates when established shall be retroactive to the date of establishment of the classification. The Company agrees that when a rate for a job classification is or becomes part of the attached wage sched- ule, the Company will not change the method of payment for such job classification from day work to piecework or vice versa if such a change adversely affects the average earnings of the employees concerned.
RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS. The occupational classifications and the corresponding wage rates, set out in Schedules “ Aand attached to this Agreement, are hereby established as the classifications and wage rates for the employees covered by this Agreement. The Job Evaluation System (adopted by both Parties in and subsequently amended and dated 04) will be employed to determine the appropriate classification and salary level of positions hereafter evaluated. Because of the need to simplify the job classification structure, it is recognized that the parties may, by mutual consent, modify any aspect of the job evaluation system that has been agreed to in order to bring about improvements in the implementation and maintenance of the system. All revised or new job information questionnaires shall be classified by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the Job Evaluation System. Minor changes to job information questionnaires such as identification details, name of Department, Branch or Division reporting structure, qualifications other than education or changes made necessary for consistency with other job information questionnaires, will not require review and/or evaluation. Job evaluation requests shall be considered in the order in which they come before the Joint Job Evaluation Committee. Evaluation requests for vacant positions under Article shall take precedence. Whenever the Corporation proposes to reclassify or revise any of the positions in Schedule “A to this Agreement or to establish a position of a nature not already classified in this Agreement; or to declare redundant any of the said positions and thereby transfer any of the functions of the redundant position to other positions within the bargaining unit; the foregoing shall be done in accordance with the Job Evaluation Procedures as set out in Article of this Agreement. Employees in Salary Levels and shall receive the job rate or maximum for their job category and level within six (6) months, with increments at three (3) months and six (6) months from entering the job category and level. Employees in Salary Levels to shall receive the job rate or maximum for their job category and level within twelve (12) months, with increments at three (3) and twelve (12) months from entering the job category and level.

4.02 It is agreed that adjustments to individual job classifications in the wage schedule shall be limited to instances of gross inequality as between job classifications or significant changes in job content. All requests for adjustments in individual job classifications shall be presented locally. Upon failure to reach agreement, the matter may be referred to Stage III of the Grievance Procedure.
4.03 For job classifications not listed in the attached wage schedule the Company shall set estimated or temporary rates of which the Union will be notified in writing at least (30) days in advance. At the request of the Union, the Company agrees to discuss the rates and conditions during the 30 day interim period prior to commencement of operation. Any such rates will be based on comparison with the prevailing rates for similar and/or related occupations in the attached Wage Schedule. After thirty (30) day trial period any such rate or rates shall be negotiated with the Local Union and after agreement is reached, shall become a part of the Wage Schedule, and attached hereto. Upon failure to reach agreement on the rate or rates, the matter may be referred to Stage III of the Grievance Procedure. Rates, when established, shall be retroactive to the date of establishment of the new job classification. The thirty (30) day period can be extended by mutual consent of the parties.

RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS. SECTION 1: Building trades journeymen sheet metal workers, on the payroll of the Employer on the effective date of this Addendum, shall be accorded wages, fringes and other contractual conditions of employment as established in the local union basic or Standard Form of Union Agreement and as may be amended from time to time. Building trades journeymen may be assigned to perform any work specified in Article I of this Addendum, but must be assigned all supervision, pattern layout, detailed drawings, blue print and plan take off and such other work as may be mutually agreed by both parties.
RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS. SECTION 1: Total package for the Industrial journeyman workers shall be 89% of the Building Trades total package as per the wage schedule. Industrial Mechanic Work included in this classification such as tacking, welding, burning, wiring, operation of equipment, maintenance of equipment, fitting, assembly, shipping, receiving, material handling, preparation for painting, delivery of materials to the job site, and crane or hyster operator.
RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS. Attached to this Agreement and forming an integral part thereof shall be a Schedule "A" setting forth wage rates and classifications. Employees shall be paid on the basis of a two-week pay period for work performed up to midnight on the second Saturday preceding pay day, including pay for any overtime hours worked in that pay period. When an employee reports an error in their pay cheque, the Employer will investigate and where the error is verified, if requested, issue a separate cheque as soon as possible and within two (2) days if the error is in the amount of or more.
