Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. Any protective equipment or clothing, e.g., safety glasses or other types of eye protection (including prescription lenses and frames when required), safety helmets, safety vests, welding gloves and aprons, safety shoes, ear protection, etc., shall be provided and maintained by the Appointing Authority whenever such equipment is required as a condition of employment either by the Appointing Authority, by OSHA, or by the Federal Mine Safety and Health Administration.
Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. SAFETY EQUIPMENT 200. The City agrees to provide all required safety equipment (i.e., protective eyewear, protective footwear) in compliance with Cal–OSHA regulations.
Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. When required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Board shall provide safety equipment and shall reimburse the cost for safety footwear up to a maximum of two hundred dollars ($200) every two (2) years. Such safety equipment shall be worn by the employees concerned as required by the Act following appropriate training in use and application. The Board shall provide warehouse and delivery clerks, print room staff and educational assistants with appropriate protective clothing when requested by the employee with appropriate training being given.

Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. The District agrees to provide all required safety equipment (i.e., protective eyewear, protective footwear, hearing protection) in compliance with Cal-OSHA regulations.
Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. The Employer agrees to supply such safety equipment and protective clothing that is communal to all Employees that is necessary, as determined by the Employer, to maintain safe working conditions. However, not to limit the generality of the foregoing, safety footwear shall be excluded. All equipment shall be maintained in a safe working order. In the event the Employee notices an unsafe condition or unsafe equipment, he/she will immediately report such to their immediate Supervisor. In the event no action is taken within twenty four (24) hours, the Employee should bring the matter to the attention of the Director of Operations.

The City agrees to provide up to four (4) shirts and four (4) overalls (or work pants) to employees in classes 7346 Painter, 7242 Painter Supervisor I, and 7278 Painter Supervisor II during each fiscal year covered by this Agreement. The overalls (or work pants) and shirts shall be the property of the City. Before a replacement for a worn out shirt or overall (or work pants) is authorized, the worn out garment must be returned to the department for appropriate disposal.

The City agrees to provide up to six (6) shirts and six (6) overalls (or work pants) to employees in classes 7346 Painter, 7242 Painter Supervisor I, and 7278 Painter Supervisor II during each fiscal year covered by this Agreement. The overalls (or work pants) and shirts shall be the property of the City. Before a replacement for a worn out shirt or overall (or work pants) is authorized, the worn out garment must be returned to the department for appropriate disposal.
B. As an alternative to providing work clothing as set forth in (a) above, individual departments may, at their discretion, and after consultation with the Union, agree to allow employees in classes 7346 Painter, 7242 Painter Supervisor I, and 7278 Painter Supervisor II to purchase up to a value of $130/year appropriate work clothing as determined by the department after consultation with the employee. The employee shall receive reimbursement upon presentation of purchase receipts.
Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. A. Employees who require safety shoes and prescription safety glasses shall be issued them without charge. This safety equipment shall become the employee's property. Employees shall be responsible for replacing or repairing such safety equipment which is lost, stolen, misused, or willfully destroyed. Safety equipment damaged in the course of duty through no fault of the employee shall be replaced at City expense upon the recommendation of the employee's supervisor and approval of the Safety coordinator. If an employee leaves City employment within one (1) month of his hire date, he shall be charged for the cost of safety equipment which he was issued.
B. The following equipment shall be issued on loan to employees only for use in the performance of duty: rain gear, foul weather gear, rubber footwear, safety helmets, safety goggles or face xxxxxxx or any other legally required safety equipment or protective clothing. Loaned equipment shall be issued by means of an issue card and shall remain the property of the City of Rochester while on loan to the employee. The employee shall be responsible for the safekeeping of all equipment loaned to him and shall be charged with the cost of said equipment where loss, theft, misuse or willful destruction occurs. Replacement for worn loaned equipment will be upon recommendation of the employee's supervisor and approval of the Safety Coordinator. In order to receive a replacement for loaned equipment, the employee must turn in his original piece of loaned equipment. Where an employee is required to wear safety shoes and must, by documented medical record, wear special medical shoes, the City will pay fifty (50) percent of the cost of a medical safety shoe.
C. The Safety Committee shall have the power to review the decision of the Safety Coordinator provided for in this section.
Safety Equipment and Protective Clothing. 32.01 The Township shall provide and maintain safety equipment and clothing to be utilized by employees in the performance of their job duties. Such equipment and clothing will include that which is currently provided and is not necessarily limited to the following.

1. Gloves
2. Bunker Pants
3. Bunker Coats 4. Respirator apparatus 5. Nomex hoods 6. Approved firefighting boots 7. EMS Personal Protective Equipment
