Annual Leave and Annual Leave Loading. All annual leave entitlements will be paid out based either on the employee’s ordinary rate of pay, or all- purpose rate of pay together with annual leave loading of 17.5%, whichever is greater. In situations where annual leave loading had been paid out in advance, no further entitlements to leave loading shall exist.

Annual Leave and Annual Leave Loading. If the employee is being paid as a casual then the employee is not entitled to annual leave or annual leave loading. Any time taken off will be without pay. If the employee is full-time then the employee is entitled to 152 hours of annual leave. If the employee is a part-time employee then the annual leave will be calculated on the average weekly hours worked and then pro-rata against that of a full-time employee. No annual leave loading is payable.

(ii) Leave is taken in an equitable spread of 3 and 4 shift pay weeks. (iii) For continuous seven day shift workers annual leave entitlement shall be not less than 160 hour per year or 13 and one third shifts per annum. (c) Continuous 7 day rotating shift workers shall be entitled to the option of an annual lump sum in lieu of the fifth weeks annual leave paid on the first pay date in December each year including the 17.5% Annual Leave Loading or an additional 40 hours annual leave added to their annual leave accrual in the same pay week. This amount will be pro-rated for employees who commence during a calendar year.

Annual Leave and Annual Leave Loading. 23.1 Full time employees shall be entitled to 4 weeks (152 hours) annual leave for each completed twelve (12) months of continuous service. 23.2 Requests for annual leave are subject to approval and shall be taken in accordance with organisational requirements. Notwithstanding, requests for annual leave shall not be unreasonably refused. 23.3 Employees with less than twelve (12) months continuous service are entitled to apply for an amount of annual leave equal to the amount accrued as at the time of application. Such requests will not be unreasonably refused, but will be subject to operational requirements. 23.4 Employees who are entitled to paid annual leave shall be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their weekly ordinary time earnings (as defined) up to a maximum of the annual base salary specified in Appendix 1Salaries, Classifications and Allowances of this Agreement. The annual leave loading will be paid to employees in December of each year. 23.5 Annual leave is exclusive of any of the holidays prescribed in clause 23Public Holidays, where such public holiday is observed on a day on which the employee would ordinarily have worked. 23.6 An employee may make a written request to the ARCBS to cash out excessive annual leave entitlements which were accrued prior to 27 March 2006. 23.7 The cashing out of excessive annual leave under 24.6 is subject to ARCBS approval and provided that an employee shall retain an entitlement to at least 4 weeks annual leave. 23.8 Each employee may only exercise the right to cash out annual leave entitlements in accordance with 24.6 & 24.7 above only occur once during the life of the Agreement. 23.9 Annual leave entitlements accrued from 27 March 2006 may be cashed out as provided for under the Workplace Relations Act. 23.10 Payment for annual leave cashed out will be at the ordinary time earnings (as defined) rate of pay applicable at the time of the cash out.
Annual Leave and Annual Leave Loading. 26.1 In every 52 weeks of employment and after 45 weeks and 4 days from the member's anniversary date of employment, a member shall become entitled to 6 weeks and 3 days annual leave and therefore a member's annual entitlement will accrue and be credited monthly at the rate of 2.75 days each month. 26.2 Annual leave of 6 weeks and 3 days shall be given and taken as follows: 26. (a) Subject to clause 26.2.1(c), annual leave shall be given by the Employer and shall be taken by the member before the expiration of 4 months from the date upon which the right to such annual leave accrues provided that the giving and taking of the whole or any separate period of such annual leave may be postponed if the member and Employer so agree. 26.2.1 (b) Subject to clause 26.2.1(c), annual leave may be taken in any period or periods agreed by the Employer and the member.
