Daily rest periods a. Employees are entitled to an unbroken rest period of at least 11 hours in each continuous period of 24 hours. This rest period is calculated from the end of a shift, or else - if it occurs outside the company location - from the time of arrival back at the company location. For dancers, this unbroken rest period will be more than 11 hours as a rule, in accordance with the agreements set out for this in the company regulations. b. In the case of a dress rehearsal, the rest period may be shortened to no less than 8 hours, with the agreement of the employee participation body and no more than twice per season. Contrary to this rule, for dancers the rest period may be reduced, no more than twice per season, to at least 10 hours, with the agreement of the employee participation body. c. Between the end of the afternoon activities and the start of the evening activities, dancers are entitled to a rest period of at least 2 hours.

Daily rest periods. If the employee’s continuous daily working time is longer than six hours, he is to be given during his working day a regular rest period lasting at least half an hour. The employee and the employer may agree on shortening or eliminating the rest period. The rest period is not counted as working time if the worker may without hindrance absent himself from the workplace. The employee has the right to one rest period when working time exceeds 4 hours and two rest periods when working time exceeds 6 hours. The breaks are to be taken at the most appropriate times from the point of view of the work.
Daily rest periods. The salaried employee shall have at least 11 hours’ uninterrupted rest per 24-hour period. Deviations may be made on a temporary basis if this is caused by a special circumstance that the employer could not have foreseen, on condition that the salaried employee is given a corresponding lost rest period at the start of their next work shift. This compensatory rest is paid leave. The main part of the daily rest period shall be scheduled between 22.00 and 06.00. Deviations may also be made if the salaried employee is required to perform monitoring/ supervision without the opportunity to take daily rest. It is a condition that a corresponding compensatory rest period be scheduled in the next available seven-day period. Deviations may be made from the above by local agreement on condition that the salaried employee is compensated with leave or is given other suitable protection.

In contrast to Section 25, Subsection 1 of the Working Hours Act (872/2019) , the length of the daily rest for all work conformant to the collective labour agreement shall be at least nine hours. 2. The start and end times of rehearsals may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis if so required by the rehearsal. 7. The Employer’s representatives may not use the breaks to address work- related issues. The breaks included in work periods are also included in the working hours. Sections 9 and 10 of the Collective Agreement will apply in the context of a work time experiment that will last throughout the term of the Agreement.

Daily rest periods. 8.5.1. Subject to the conditions of clause 8.6, an employee must be allowed a daily rest period of at least twelve (12) consecutive hours between ending and recommencing of work. 8.5.2. Daily rest periods. An employee shall have a daily rest period per 24 hours of no less than 11 hours. When the daily rest period is shortened, the employee shall be guaranteed an appropriate form of compensation. One daily rest period shall for every seven-day period be extended by 24 hours to a weekly rest period of 35 hours. This weekly rest period may be shortened to no less than 24 hours. When a weekly rest period is shortened, the employee shall be guaranteed an appropriate form of compensation. The regular working hours for a night worker shall not exceed an average of eight hours for every 24-hour period on average per annum. Night work constitutes at least three hours of regular working time scheduled between 11 pm and 6 am. Regular weekly working time shall amount to at most 35 hours on average over a four-week period for permanent night work. Permanent night work constitutes an employee only working at night and not working during the day time and that the night work is carried out on average five times a week over a four-week period.
Daily rest periods. Each rehearsal lasting more than 1.5 hours shall include a break. Each rehearsal of no more than 2 hours must include a 15-minute break and each rehearsal of no more than 3 hours must include a 20-minute break. Each rehearsal of more than 3 hours must include a 20-minute break after the first 1.5 hours, followed by a further 10-minute break after the next 1.5 hours of rehearsal. Supervisors may not use breaks for briefing Dancers about the production. Should this happen, the break shall be deemed to begin after the briefing is over. Breaks are included in the working hours. There shall be a 15-minute break between the first warm-up hour and the first rehearsal period. In orchestra dress rehearsals, piano dress rehearsals and performances, the breaks must coincide with intermissions. On Saturdays and on days on which there is a 4-hour performance in the evening, the rehearsal time shall include one 10-minute break per each rehearsal period exceeding 1.5 hours. On days on which there is a 3.5-hour performance in the evening, the rehearsal time shall include one 15-minute break per each rehearsal period exceeding 1.5 hours.

  • Rest Periods All employees shall have two (2), fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each work period in excess of six (6) hours, one (1) rest period to be granted before and one (1) after the meal period. Employees working a shift of three and one-half (3½) hours, but not more than six (6) hours, shall receive one (1) rest period during such a shift.   • Interest Periods In connection with each LIBOR Rate Loan, the Borrower, by giving notice at the times described in Section 3.1(a), shall elect an interest period (each, an "Interest Period") to be applicable to such Loan, which Interest Period shall be a period of one (1), two (2), three (3) or six (6) months with respect to each LIBOR Rate Loan; provided that: (i) the Interest Period shall commence on the date of advance of or conversion to any LIBOR Rate Loan or and, in the case of immediately successive Interest Periods, each successive Interest Period shall commence on the date on which the next preceding Interest Period expires; (ii) if any Interest Period would otherwise expire on a day that is not a Business Day, such Interest Period shall expire on the next succeeding Business Day; provided, that if any Interest Period with respect to a LIBOR Rate Loan would otherwise expire on a day that is not a Business Day but is a day of the month after which no further Business Day occurs in such month, such Interest Period shall expire on the next preceding Business Day; (iii) any Interest Period with respect to a LIBOR Rate Loan that begins on the last Business Day of a calendar month (or on a day for which there is no numerically corresponding day in the calendar month at the end of such Interest Period) shall end on the last Business Day of the relevant calendar month at the end of such Interest Period; (iv) no Interest Period shall be permitted to extend beyond the Termination Date; and (v) there shall be no more than five (5) Interest Periods outstanding at any time.
