Eligibility for Paid Holiday. Employees shall be entitled to paid holidays providing he/she has worked his/her scheduled working days immediately preceding and immediately following the holiday, unless on an approved paid leave of absence.

Eligibility for Paid Holiday. An employee who has worked for the Employer for thirty (30) calendar days, shall be entitled to paid holidays with pay as follows:
Eligibility for Paid Holiday. An employee shall not be eligible for holiday pay unless he/she works his/her last regularly scheduled shift before the holiday, and his/her first regularly scheduled shift after the holiday. This provision shall not apply, however, if the employee is absent from work with permission on either or both of the above days. Similarly, this provision shall not apply if an employee fails to report for work due to illness which is verified (if so requested) to the satisfaction of the Corporation. Statutory holiday pay will be provided to employees in accordance with the provisions and formula for payment as set out in the Employment Standards Act.
Eligibility for Paid Holiday. To be eligible for Paid Holiday pay, an employee must be on the active payroll of the Company and fulfil the following requirements:
Eligibility for Paid Holiday. To be eligible for paid Holiday Leave (paid holidays and university holidays) employees must be in a paid employment status on the calendar date the holiday is earned. Employees who meet the eligibility requirements of this section shall receive a regular scheduled workday off with pay for all holidays as outlined in Section 1 of this Article according to the University’s published holiday observance schedule. Employees who are not normally scheduled to work on the holiday date of observance may elect to take the next regularly scheduled workday off with pay as holiday observance or to receive a regular day’s compensation at their regular hourly rate of pay in addition to any hours worked during the same bi-weekly period for every holiday the employee is entitled to observe. The employee shall make the election and notify his/her supervisor at least five (5) work days in advance of each affected holiday. In this case, as contemplated in Article IV, Hours of Work and Overtime, Section 6 Overtime, all hours worked and holiday leave hours paid will be considered as hours worked for the purposes of determining eligibility for overtime pay at one-and one half (1½) times the employee’s regular rate of pay. The employee may elect to receive compensatory time in lieu of overtime pay in accordance with Article IV, Hours of Work and Overtime, Section 9 Compensatory Time.
Eligibility for Paid Holiday. To qualify for a paid holiday, an employee must have worked her last scheduled shift before the holiday and her first scheduled shift after the holiday and have worked for at least fifteen (15) days during thirty (30) calendar days immediately preceding the holiday. To qualify for a paid holiday for Remembrance Day the employee must be regularly scheduled to work on that day. For purposes of this article, an employee who is on an unpaid leave of absence for Union business (for which the Union reimburses any expenses for the leave to the Employer) a paid leave of absence, a lieu day or sick leave will be deemed to be time worked the qualifying days.

  • Eligibility for Holiday Pay A. An employee must be paid for all or a portion of both the regularly scheduled working assignment immediately prior to a holiday and the regularly scheduled working assignment immediately after that holiday in order to receive holiday pay.   • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.

  • Paid Holiday Pay Payment for holidays will be made at an employee’s basic pay, except if an employee has been working in a higher paid position than her regular position for a majority of the sixty (60) working days preceding her holiday, in which case she shall receive the higher pay.

  • Holiday Pay Eligibility ‌ In order to be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must be in a pay status on the last regularly scheduled working day immediately before or on the first regularly scheduled day immediately after the holiday (§ 2-18-603, Mont. Code Xxx.). If a new employee or an employee returning from inactive status or layoff reports to work on a day following the holiday, the employee will not receive compensation for the holiday except as provided for in Section 7.
