Extra Pay for Extra Work. The District acknowledges that extra-curricular activities are generally valuable to the student. The District, therefore, approves the concept of extra-curricular activities.
Extra Pay for Extra Work. The District may pay extra stipends for extra work beyond the employee’s responsibilities in extraordinary circumstances as recommended by the manager and approved by the division head prior to the work taking place. Extra Pay for Extra Work. As stipulated in this Article, Extra Pay for Extra Work is for supervisory and instructional time spent with students outside the normal school day. Teachers shall not be involuntarily assigned to Appendix B positions. When Appendix B assignments are deemed necessary and desirable by the District, compensation shall be allocated according to Appendix B.
Extra Pay for Extra Work. In addition to the salary schedule set forth in Schedule A, administrators shall be paid additional compensation for rendering special service. Special service shall be considered service when the administrator is working on study committees, curriculum committees, fact-finding committees, survey committees, and administrator committees that require extra attention that must be given during the administrator's vacation time. All such service will be voluntary and all arrangements will be made with the approval of the Superintendent of Schools. The compensation for work shall be paid to the administrator at a rate to be determined by the Board and the Organization. The Board recognizes the extra time commitment necessary for administrators who serve on negotiating teams in assistance to the personnel department. Therefore, the following stipend will be paid to administrators who serve as negotiators for the Board. Teacher contract negotiating team - $450; all other negotiating teams - $250.
Extra Pay for Extra Work. All extra duty assignments involving extra pay will be paid in accordance with the negotiated schedules as attached. Such functions include:
Extra Pay for Extra Work. This provision applies to the exempt employees (4B) who accept extra work. The District shall pay a stipend for extra work beyond the employee’s responsibilities in extraordinary circumstances, and as recommended by the manager and approved by the division head prior to the work taking place. To the extent possible, the district will provide a minimum notice of five (5) working days to any impacted bargaining unit member(s) and the Union with details specifying the nature and duration of the assignment. Such approval must be reduced to writing and signed by the employee, Union representative, and department head. A copy shall be sent to Human Resources. Any represented employee who has been assigned to assume a greater portion of the duties and responsibilities of a lower paid classification, while expected to perform and complete their regularly assigned duties within the work day, for a period of three (3) or more work days, shall be paid a premium at the rate of seven and a half (7.5%) of the regular pay of the represented employee’s own classification for such time worked in the lower classification. The assignment shall not exceed thirty (30) work days. If a temporary assignment is in a higher classification of the employee’s position, the employee will be compensated in accordance with article 3106.

Extra Pay for Extra Work. The Board and Association agree to the principle of equal pay for similar assignments. However, the Board and Association agree that the District may need and assign, by mutual agreement between the District and the employees, positions that require time and/or responsibilities in excess of that necessary for regular teaching assignments. As a result of the extra time and/or responsibilities involved, the Board shall provide extra compensation beyond the basic Certificated Salary Schedule for those members of the unit who have been assigned these duties.
Extra Pay for Extra Work. 1. It is recognized that employees normally engage in certain job related activities not specifically delineated in this agreement. Examples of such activities include, but are not limited to, ongoing curriculum improvement, integration of new technologies, grading, College and program promotional activities, customer service tasks, program accreditation, etc. Accordingly, upon application, each contracted employee shall receive ten (10) extra days pay during each contractual year at the employee’s per diem rate. In the event a contracted employee serves less than the full contract, they will receive a prorated portion thereof.
