Flexible Work Day. Staff members shall be granted the right to work a flexible work day that includes sixty (60) minutes outside of the student day. These sixty (60) minutes are flexible and can be scheduled by staff as long as professional responsibilities outlined below are met. Staff may arrive no later than fifteen (15) minutes before the student day begins and may depart not sooner than fifteen (15) minutes after students depart Monday through Thursday and five (5) minutes after students depart on Friday. It is understood that flexibility of schedules may be required under exceptional circumstances.
Flexible Work Day. The Employer, and an individual employee may agree upon a pattern of work schedules providing for work in excess of eight (8) hours per day. Upon the request of an employee, the Employer agrees to discuss the possibility of flexible schedule, which accommodates an employee's personal need and meets the need of the department. This flexible schedule might include but not be limited to adjustment of the starting or ending times, shortened or intermittent workdays when some work can be accomplished at home, and/or split shifts. Work schedules established pursuant to the provisions of this Section shall be subject to the following conditions:
Flexible Work Day. A) A teacher may adjust the starting and ending time of his/her basic eight (8) hour work day as defined in Sections one above, providing that he/she is on duty in his/her building ten (10) minutes before normal student arrival and ten (10) minutes after normal student dismissal.
Flexible Work Day. Certified employees who are requested by the District and who voluntarily choose to participate in their school's School Improvement Program may volunteer on an annual basis to participate in the restructuring of their seven (7) hour work day. The seven (7) hour work day includes at least one 45 minute planning period and is in addition to a 30 minute duty free lunch period. The 300 minutes per week (30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the student day) may be redistributed throughout the work week. Student contact time will not exceed 1400 minutes per week. Though the start time for staff may vary, the work day shall be seven (7) hours. Participation is voluntary and if an adjustment is needed after the restructuring of the work day, a change may be mutually agreed upon. STAFFINGS: When possible, as judged by the District, staffing will be held in the building from which the referral was made.
Flexible Work Day. A flexible work day, work week schedule may be established by mutual consent of the AUTHORITY, the UNION, and the affected employee, at the request of the AUTHORITY, to include, but not be limited to, 4-day work week and telecommuting. The impact on holidays, accruals, etc. shall be negotiated by the parties at the time of such mutual consent.

  • Flexible Work Hours Upon request of an authorized employee, the State may establish flexible work hours for a Xxxx 00 employee upon agreement between the employee and the employer. Any flexible work hour schedule shall not exceed thirty (30) days.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Time Worked For purposes of computing the eight (8) hour day or the forty (40) hour week to determine entitlement to overtime pay, all sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays shall count as time worked to be added to other hours worked.

  • Innovative/Flexible Scheduling Where the Hospital and the Union agree, arrangements regarding Innovative Scheduling/Flexible Scheduling may be entered into between the parties on a local level.
