Flexible Work Day. Staff members shall be granted the right to work a flexible work day that includes sixty (60) minutes outside of the student day. These sixty (60) minutes are flexible and can be scheduled by staff as long as professional responsibilities outlined below are met. Staff may arrive no later than fifteen (15) minutes before the student day begins and may depart not sooner than fifteen (15) minutes after students depart Monday through Thursday and five (5) minutes after students depart on Friday. It is understood that flexibility of schedules may be required under exceptional circumstances.
Flexible Work Day. The Employer, and an individual employee may agree upon a pattern of work schedules providing for work in excess of eight (8) hours per day. Upon the request of an employee, the Employer agrees to discuss the possibility of flexible schedule, which accommodates an employee’s personal need and meets the need of the department. This flexible schedule might include but not be limited to adjustment of the starting or ending times, shortened or intermittent work days when some work can be accomplished at home, and/or split shifts. Work schedules established pursuant to the provisions of this Section shall be subject to the following conditions: A. An employee shall have an opportunity to review the alternate work schedule or schedules being considered prior to agreeing to a flexible work schedule. The Employer shall retain written documentation that the employee has agreed to a flexible work schedule and shall document the pattern of flexible schedule, which the employee will work. (If an employee’s schedule changes to a flexible work schedule, a copy of the documentation shall by signed by the Union.) B. If a flexible work schedule is established, the basic work period shall be forty (40) hours per week. An employee working a flexible schedule shall be paid time and one half (1-1/2) for hours in excess of forty (40) hours per week rather than overtime for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and eighty (80) hours in a fourteen (14) calendar day period.
Flexible Work Day. A flexible work day, work week schedule may be established by mutual consent of the AUTHORITY, the UNION, and the affected employee, at the request of the AUTHORITY, to include, but not be limited to, 4-day work week and telecommuting. The impact on holidays, accruals, etc. shall be negotiated by the parties at the time of such mutual consent.
Flexible Work Day. A) A teacher may adjust the starting and ending time of his/her basic eight (8) hour work day as defined in Sections one above, providing that he/she is on duty in his/her building ten (10) minutes before normal student arrival and ten (10) minutes after normal student dismissal. B) Teachers are responsible for all other normal and customary duties (as defined in Article X), meetings and other professional obligations.
Flexible Work Day. Certified employees who are requested by the District and who voluntarily choose to participate in their school's School Improvement Program may volunteer on an annual basis to participate in the restructuring of their seven (7) hour work day. The seven (7) hour work day includes at least one 45 minute planning period and is in addition to a 30 minute duty free lunch period. The 300 minutes per week (30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the student day) may be redistributed throughout the work week. Student contact time will not exceed 1400 minutes per week. Though the start time for staff may vary, the work day shall be seven (7) hours. Participation is voluntary and if an adjustment is needed after the restructuring of the work day, a change may be mutually agreed upon. STAFFINGS: When possible, as judged by the District, staffing will be held in the building from which the referral was made.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.

  • Flexible Work Schedules An employee may request a modification of their current work schedule to another schedule. The Employer, or its designees, may approve or deny flexible work schedules and retain the responsibility for determining exemptions from, or terminations of, flexible work schedules which adversely affect the operation of the Minnesota Judicial Branch or the level of service to the public.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Flexible Scheduling All posts experience a higher day-time volume than occurs during the night hours and the Parties agree to a flexible scheduling as outlined below to be compatible with the needs of the community served and availability of on-call staff and the members of the post’s full-time staff.

The new school district shall provide the employee with the necessary verification form at the time the employee receives confirmation of employment in the school district. b. An employee must initiate the sick leave verification process and forward the necessary verification forms to the previous school district(s) within ninety (90) days of commencing employment with the new school district. c. The previous school district(s) shall make every reasonable effort to retrieve and verify the sick leave credits which the employee seeks to port.

  • Flexible Hours Upon the request of an employee and the concurrence of the Employer, an employee may work flexible hours on a daily basis so long as the daily hours amount to seven decimal five (7.5).

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week for full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be forty (40) hours, exclusive of the time allotted for meal periods, consisting of five (5) consecutive work days followed by two (2) consecutive days off. The week shall commence with the shift that includes 12:01 A.M. Sunday of each calendar week and end at the start of the shift that includes 12:00 midnight the following Saturday. The Employer retains the right to modify the work schedules to meet operational needs.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.
