FOP RECOGNITION. 3 1.1 The City recognizes Gator Lodge 67, Inc. Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) as the 4 exclusive collective bargaining agent of all sworn personnel of the City of 5 Gainesville Police Department in the classifications of: Police Officer, Police 6 Corporal and Police Sergeant, as described in PERC Case Number AC-2005- 7 002 dated June 13, 2005. Excluded from this bargaining unit are budget staff, 8 polygraph operators, Sergeant/Personnel Officer, Internal Affairs investigators 9 and all other employees of the City of Gainesville. 11 ARTICLE 2
FOP RECOGNITION. Section 2.1 The Employer recognizes the FOP as the sole and exclusive representative for all full-time employees in the bargaining unit as set forth in the certification issued by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board in case number 2015-REP-08-0077on December 18, 2015: All full-time Deputies in patrol including Detectives and K-9 officers; but excluding: All other employees. Section 2.2 The employer will not recognize any other organization as the representative for any employee within the bargaining unit referenced above during the term of this agreement unless such other organization is so certified by the state employment relations board. Section 2.3 All positions and classifications not specifically certified by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board as being included in the bargaining unit shall be excluded from it. However if a new position is created within the sheriff’s office, the parties shall meet to determine whether such new position should be included in the bargaining unit. If the parties are unable to reach agreement on inclusion or exclusion of such new position, the union may appeal through the State Employment Relations Board in accordance with the provisions of ORC 4117.

Wherever used in this Agreement, the term “bargaining unit” shall be deemed to include those full- time employees employed by the Employer in a classification listed as appropriate to a Sergeant bargaining unit, as certified by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board in case number 84-RC-05-1094, as amended on January 4, 2007 in case number 06- Rep-09-0122. Section 2.2. All management level employees, confidential employees, professional employees, corporals, police officers, part-time, seasonal and casual employees, supervisory employees as defined in the Ohio Revised Code and all other employees of the Employer not classified as Sergeant are specifically excluded from the bargaining unit.

Whenever used in this agreement, the term "bargaining unit(s)" shall be deemed to include those full-time Patrol Officers, Corporals and those full-time employees employed by the Employer in the classification of Sergeant. The parties recognize and agree that this agreement constitutes a multiple unit agreement and, unless delineated specifically by clause, all provisions of this Agreement apply equally to both units. SECTION 2.2. All management level employees, confidential employees, professional employees, seasonal and casual employees, supervisory employees as defined in the Ohio Revised Code and all other employees of the Employer specifically excluded from the bargaining units.
FOP RECOGNITION. Section 1. The County recognizes the FOP as the sole and exclusive bargaining rep- resentative of all employees of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, excluding any part time Detention Officer, any part time Secretary, any nurse, any medical aide, and any deputy sheriff holding the rank of Chief Deputy or Sheriff. Section 2. The term employee, as used elsewhere in this Agreement, means individu- als employed in those job classifications which are included in the recog- nized bargaining unit as set out in Section 1 of this Article.
FOP RECOGNITION. The Administration recognizes the FOP as the exclusive representative of its employees, as defined in Section 1.2 of this Article, for the purpose of negotiating and otherwise representing such employees in all matters relating to wages, hours and other conditions and terms of employment.

  • RECOGNITION 1. For the purposes of the fulfillment, in whole or in part, of its standards or criteria for the authorization, licensing or certification of services suppliers, and subject to the requirements of paragraph 3, a Party may recognize the education or experience obtained, requirements met, or licences or certifications granted in the other Party or a non-Party. Where a Party accords recognition autonomously, it shall afford adequate opportunity for the other Party to demonstrate that education, experience, licences or certifications obtained or requirements met in that other Party's territory should be recognized.

The BCPSEA recognizes the BCTF as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the negotiation and administration of all terms and conditions of employment of all employees within the bargaining unit for which the BCTF is established as the bargaining agent pursuant to PELRA and subject to the provisions of this Collective Agreement.
