Mental Health Care. This plan covers all of the following services: Inpatient, residential treatment and outpatient care to manage or reduce the effects of the mental condition Individual or group therapy Family therapy as required by law Physical, speech or occupational therapy for mental health conditions, such as autism spectrum disorders Lab and testing Take-home drugs you get in a facility In this benefit, outpatient visit means a clinical treatment session with a mental health provider. Alcohol and Drug Dependence (Also called “Chemical Dependency” or “Substance Abuse”) This plan covers all of the following services: Inpatient and residential treatment and outpatient care to manage or reduce the effects of the alcohol or drug dependence Individual, family or group therapy Lab and testing Take-home drugs you get in a facility This plan covers Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy. The member must be diagnosed with one of the following disorders: Autistic disorder Autism spectrum disorder Asperger's disorder Childhood disintegrative disorder Pervasive developmental disorder Rett’s disorder Benefits must be provided by: A physician (MD or DO) who is a psychiatrist, developmental pediatrician, or pediatric neurologist A state-licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner (NP), advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) or advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) A state-licensed masters-level mental health clinician (e.g., licensed clinical social worker, licensed marriage and family counselor, licensed mental health counselor) A state licensed occupational or speech therapist when providing ABA services A state licensed psychologist Licensed Community Mental Health or Behavioral Health agency that is also state certified for ABA Board certified Behavior Analyst, licensed in states with behavior analyst licensure, otherwise, certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Therapy assistants/behavioral technicians/paraprofessionals; when services are supervised and billed by a licensed provider or BCBA Covered services include: Direct treatment or direct therapy services for identified patients and/or family members when provided by a licensed provider, Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), or therapy assistants who are supervised by a licensed provider or BCBA. Also covered when performed by a licensed provider or BCBA: Initial evaluation/assessment Treatment review and planning Supervision of therapy assistants...
Mental Health Care. A. The Union and the University acknowledge a mutual desire to promote on- campus access to mental health resources for Student Workers.
B. The University and the Union agree to utilize at least one meeting per year of the Union-Management Committee to discuss mental health and safety. These meetings will include representation from relevant University stakeholders and an agenda will be agreed upon by the University and Union at least three (3) weeks in advance.
C. The University will provide the Union with a list of mental health resources on campus to the Union annually.
D. If the University convenes any working group with student representation to address campus-wide mental health and/or safety policies, the University will provide at least one seat on the working group to the Union.
Mental Health Care. Treatment The State shall ensure that qualified mental health professionals provide timely, adequate, and appropriate screening, assessment, evaluation, treatment and structured therapeutic activities to inmates requesting mental health services, inmates who become suicidal, and inmates who enter with serious mental health needs or develop serious mental health needs while incarcerated.
Mental Health Care. WCDOC shall:
a. Provide appropriate rehabilitative programming for minors, including those who have committed disciplinary infractions.
b. Ensure that minors undergo mental health evaluations that address their special developmental needs.
c. Ensure that minors undergo mental health evaluations at intervals of between fourteen and twenty-one days even if they are not receiving psychotropic medications.
d. Ensure that minors held in the SHU, keeplock, disciplinary or administrative segregation or other lock down status, including observation status, or in the psychiatric unit are checked every 24 hours by a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
Mental Health Care. 1. The County shall retain the services of a licensed mental health provider or community mental health clinic whose responsibilities will include supervising and providing mental health care for inmates at the Jail.
2. The County shall develop and implement an appropriate intake screening instrument that identifies inmates’ mental health needs and risks of suicide behavior and ensures timely access to the mental health professional when presenting symptoms require such care.
3. The County shall ensure that all staff are regularly trained regarding suicide and suicide prevention and that the shift supervisors take an active role in ensuring that inmates on suicide watch are adequately monitored.
Mental Health Care. Xxxxxxxxx shall provide its residents with adequate mental health care, including psychiatric and mental health services.
Mental Health Care. Staffing The County shall staff the Probation Camps with sufficient qualified mental health professionals to meet the serious mental health needs of the Probation Camps’ population. Staff shall be sufficient to screen incoming youth; complete specialized mental health assessments; timely and accurately diagnose mental illness, substance abuse disorders, and mental retardation; provide ongoing treatment; respond to crisis situations and provide follow-up care in a timely manner; coordinate with other staff to meet youth’s needs; monitor youth on psychotropic medication; track laboratory results; and develop treatment plans where appropriate.
Mental Health Care. 1. LCJ shall provide adequate services to address the serious mental health needs of all inmates, consistent with generally accepted correctional standards of care, including sufficient staffing to meet the demands for timely access to an appropriate mental health professional, to ensure qualified mental health staff perform intake mental health screenings and evaluations, and to perform comprehensive assessments and comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment planning. See Section III. A.
Mental Health Care.
26.01 Effective August 1, 2019 Members, retired Members and eligible Dependents shall be provided a maximum of five thousand dollars ($5,000) per calendar year, per participant, for mental health treatments including: psychologist, psychiatrist, psychiatric social worker, occupational therapist, psychotherapist counsellor, or registered mental health professional and any prescribed treatments from any of the aforementioned. Effective January 1, 2022, the maximum shall be seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) per calendar year per participant.
Mental Health Care. Mental health care, including psychiatric care, for Death Row Inmates, shall be rendered in accordance with FDC policy requirements applicable to all inmates. Inmate-declared psychological emergencies, emergent staff referrals, suicide and self-injury risk assessments, and implementation of precautions and treatment, as clinically indicated, will be provided in accordance with FDC policy requirements applicable to all inmates. Defendants agree that Death Row Inmates’ mental and physical health records and/or any communications, observations or diagnoses by mental and physical healthcare providers are confidential and any disclosure by FDC without a valid “Consent and Authorization for Use and Disclosure Inspection and Release of Confidential Information, form DC4-711B” by the Death Row Inmate or court order is strictly forbidden.
