Method of Accumulation. Sick leave shall be cumulative from year to year and there shall be no limit on the number of days of sick leave an employee may accrue; provided, that at least one-half of this cumulative leave must be established within the Palm Beach County School District. An employee returning to the system after a leave of absence or resignation shall be entitled to the accrued balance credited at the time of such leave or resignation.

h) In compliance with the Regulations and the Board’s continued eligibility for the E.I. Premium Reduction Program, a minimum of one
(1) day per month (10 days per year) sick leave credit as outlined in Article 18.04 a) and b) above, shall be reserved solely for personal illness and other statutory leave provisions.
