Officer Release Time. Upon request, up to two employees holding elected offices in ACEA or its affiliates will be granted personal leave without pay for the duration of their terms in office. The Association agrees to reimburse the Board for the costs of the continuation of the existing payroll service. Under unusual circumstances, such leave may be on a less than full-time basis when arrangements are made to the mutual satisfaction of the Superintendent and the Association.

The Union will reimburse the Employer on a pro rata basis for the pay and benefits of employees who are released in this manner. Holidays - All full time bargaining unit employees are entitled to the holidays listed below. Officer Release Time. Upon request, up to three (3) Board employees, who are members of the ACEA or its affiliates, will be treated as employees on special assignment. The Association agrees to reimburse the Board for the costs of the continuation of the existing payroll service. Under unusual circumstances, such assignment may be on a less than full-time basis when arrangements are made to the mutual satisfaction of the Superintendent and the Association. Said employee(s) and the ACEA shall enter into an indemnification and hold harmless agreement with the Board agreeing to indemnify and hold harmless the Board, its agents and employees, from and against any and all claims and causes of action of whatever nature arising out of or relating to the acts or omissions of the officer while acting on special assignment. This indemnification and hold harmless agreement shall include attorney fees and court costs incurred by the Board, its agents and employees, in connection with the defense of any said claim or cause of action. If said employee is employed by the ACEA less than full-time, this agreement will only be in effect while the employee is employed by the ACEA.
Officer Release Time. Time during working hours will be allowed Association representatives for attendance at meetings with the District. Time will also be allowed for representatives to discuss with the employees’ grievances and appropriate matters directly related to work situations in their area or craft. Association representatives will guard against the use of excess time in the handling of such matters. In addition, the President of the Association (or Co-Presidents) and designated representatives will be provided time off without loss of pay to a maximum of five (5) days per year to be shared among the representatives, to conduct Association business. Notification of the leave shall be submitted by the Association in writing to the Superintendent two (2) days, whenever possible, before the leave is to take effect.   • Paid Release Time Employees will be provided a reasonable amount of time during their normal working hours to meet with the union xxxxxxx and/or staff representative to process a grievance. In addition, employees will be released during their normal working hours to attend meetings or hearings scheduled by management for the following:

  • Retirement Seminar Release Time 222. Subject to development, availability and scheduling by SFERS and PERS, employees shall be allowed not more than one day during the life of this CBA to attend a pre-retirement planning seminar sponsored by SFERS or PERS. All such seminars must be located within the Bay Area.

  • RDDS update time Refers to the time measured from the reception of an EPP confirmation to a transform command on a domain name, host or contact, up until the servers of the RDDS services reflect the changes made.

  • Release Time A. The Employer will approve paid release time for a reasonable number of employee representatives who are scheduled to work during the time negotiations are being conducted, provided the absence of the employee will not interfere with the operating needs of the University. The Employer will approve compensatory time, vacation leave or leave without pay for additional employee representatives provided the absence of the employee will not interfere with the operating needs of the University.

  • DNS update time Refers to the time measured from the reception of an EPP confirmation to a transform command on a domain name, until the name servers of the parent domain name answer “DNS queries” with data consistent with the change made. This only applies for changes to DNS information.

  • OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER CERTIFICATION Pursuant to Section 6(b) and 6(c) of the Agreement, the undersigned Chief Executive Officer and Chief Fiscal Officer of the Recipient, as both are designated in Appendix B of the Agreement, hereby request the Director to disburse financial assistance moneys made available to Project in Appendix C of the Agreement (inclusive of any amendment thereto) to the payee as identified below in the amount so indicated which amount equals the product of the Disbursement Ratio and the dollar value of the attached cost documentation which was properly billed to the Recipient in exclusive connection with the performance of the Project, or, in the case of a final disbursement request, the amount entered at Line V of this Appendix E. The undersigned further certify that:

  • Union Release Time The appointing authority may grant to elected officers or appointed representatives of the Union time off for employee organization representation activities. No more than one employee in a department or Bureau of the Department of Public Works with a total of no more than six employees for all bargaining units (4, 14, 15 & 18) shall be allowed release time under this article.

  • CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER CERTIFICATION The undersigned Chief Executive Officer and Chief Fiscal Officer of the Recipient, as both are designated in Appendix B of the Agreement, hereby request the Director to disburse financial assistance moneys made available to Project in Appendix C of the Agreement (inclusive of any amendment thereto) to the payee as identified below in the amount so indicated which amount equals the product of the Disbursement Ratio and the dollar value of the attached cost documentation which was properly billed to the Recipient in exclusive connection with the performance of the Project. The undersigned further certify that:

  • Date/Time Warranty Contractor warrants that Product(s) furnished pursuant to this Contract shall, when used in accordance with the Product documentation, be able to accurately process date/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) transitions, including leap year calculations. Where a Contractor proposes or an acquisition requires that specific Products must perform as a package or system, this warranty shall apply to the Products as a system. Where Contractor is providing ongoing services, including but not limited to: i) consulting, integration, code or data conversion, ii) maintenance or support services, iii) data entry or processing, or iv) contract administration services (e.g., billing, invoicing, claim processing), Contractor warrants that services shall be provided in an accurate and timely manner without interruption, failure or error due to the inaccuracy of Contractor’s business operations in processing date/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) various date/time transitions, including leap year calculations. Contractor shall be responsible for damages resulting from any delays, errors or untimely performance resulting therefrom, including but not limited to the failure or untimely performance of such services. This Date/Time Warranty shall survive beyond termination or expiration of this contract through: a) ninety (90) days or b) the Contractor’s or Product manufacturer/developer’s stated date/time warranty term, whichever is longer. Nothing in this warranty statement shall be construed to limit any rights or remedies otherwise available under this Contract for breach of warranty.

  • Association Release Time Subd. 1. The Employer and the Association agree that the release of an ASF Member from normal job duties to perform other service shall be governed as follows:
