Philosophy Statement. This Agreement recognizes the need for a new approach to Union/Management relations and the more effective use of human resources in the manufacture of bearings worldwide. It further recognizes the competitiveness in the bearing industry and the potential for increased global competitive pressures with our current and future customers. Both parties recognize the need to develop and maintain an atmosphere of cooperative problem solving to accomplish our mutual objectives. We understand that our job security depends upon our success in making quality bearings, in a cost-effective manner, and in satisfying our customer expectations and commitments. We believe that people want to be involved in decisions that affect them, care about their jobs and each other, take pride in themselves and in their contributions and want to share in the success of their efforts. Making progress toward these mutually agreed upon goals will require a relationship of mutual respect, open communication, shared success, mutual aid, innovative problem solving, and shared decision-making. The parties agree that in order for the Union to effectively represent its members, the Union must have a role in the decision-making process that affects its members. It is the intent of the UAW and RBC to create a workplace that recognizes the need for people to be treated with respect and dignity and recognizes that collective bargaining can be an essential and constructive force in our plant. All parties in this Agreement will strive to make the West Trenton plant of RBC the best of its kind in the marketplace; making the highest quality product; a cost effective, profitable operation; a coveted place to work, and a responsible member of the community. It is in this renewed spirit of mutual respect and recognition of each other’s stakes and equities that this Agreement is entered into and agreed upon.

Philosophy Statement. The mission of the Bellevue School District is to serve each and every student academically, socially, and emotionally, through a rigorous and relevant education that is innovative and individualized. As a learning community that values one another’s humanity, BSD provides courageous support for an equitable and exceptional education for all students. The Bellevue School District is committed to an inclusive approach to meeting the needs of all students. Inclusion means equitable access to a welcoming classroom and school community with grade level peers. Instruction is strengths-based and provides access to grade-level content through a setting that best meets student needs determined through a collaborative process. The purpose of inclusion is for all students, educators, and families to feel affirmed, valued and worthy, to develop strong relationships and a strong sense of belonging so students can learn and thrive. The District and the Association acknowledge that multiple systems and supports are necessary to make this mission a reality, and that resources for these supports are not unlimited. Reasonable class sizes and caseloads are critical factors in retaining high quality educators, enhancing the professional quality of life for our educators, and meeting the needs of all students. The District and Association acknowledge the application of rigid numerical limitations can unintentionally restrict staff and administration in their flexibility in seeking an ideal learning environment. The following targets and structures represent current resource availability and are intended as a baseline for implementation of improved systems to support students and staff. Philosophy Statement. Community Unit School District #205 is committed to working together with teachers, parents and the community to offer a comprehensive and challenging education for every student. We want each student to be well-prepared for life in an ever-changing society. To that end, we emphasize essential critical thinking skills in addition to basic fundamentals in the language arts, sciences, mathematics and social studies. Our curriculum, aligned with state and national standards, is both challenging and relevant to students. We hope this strong foundation helps them to adapt and succeed in their years beyond graduation. As a District, we have high expectations for our students. Teacher, parents and administrators work together in both building and district improvement teams in an ongoing effort to meet student needs and continue to achieve higher levels of excellence district-wide. Professional development for all certified employees is a priority in District #205. We want all staff members to be knowledgeable about current learning theories while understanding how those trends may reflect and uphold the Instructional Beliefs adopted by the district's Board of Education. As a whole, the attitude in District #205 reflects a feeling of pride and investment in our schools, our students and our staff. As current goals are worked through and accomplished, new goals are developed. Our work toward continual improvement will never be finished while we still have children in our classrooms. Philosophy Statement. Xxxxxx’s philosophy rests in the vision of a thorough classical education which is embodied in the following statement: “…for then our youth shall dwell in a land of health, amid fair sights and sounds, and receive good in everything; and beauty, the effluence of fair works, shall flow into the eye and ear, like a health giving breeze from a purer region, and insensibly draw the soul from the earliest years into likeness and sympathy with the beauty of reason.” ~Xxxxx’s Republic
