Posting of Vacancy. A. Upon occurrence of a job vacancy within the school district for which a bargaining unit member is certified, a notice of such position along with its requirements and job description, if applicable, will be posted in each building and on the District website at the same time the notice is given outside the school district. Additionally, the posting will be distributed through email. The district will be considered to have met this responsibility by emailing the district list on the district email system. During vacation periods, such notice shall be accomplished by mail.
B. In the event a vacancy occurs during the school year, the position shall be posted, and if satisfactory applicants apply, the position shall be filled with the appointment to be effective no later than the first day of the semester following the vacancy. In the event a vacancy occurs too late in the first semester to complete the timely posting and selection of a replacement prior to the first day of the next semester, the Association and the Board shall meet to determine a mutually agreeable process/timeline to be followed.
C. In order to provide existing certificated staff with the opportunity to apply for vacancies to be filled the following school year, members of the existing certificated staff shall have five (5) working days from the date of the notice to apply for vacancies occurring during the regular school year, and two (2) weeks for vacancies occurring in the summer prior to July 9th. After July 9th, the Association President and any employee who has given written notice to the Superintendent of their desire to be notified of vacancies, shall be notified of vacancies and shall have a maximum of five (5) days to apply for said position.
D. In filling vacancies within the bargaining unit, selection of internal candidates is not mandatory, but deference shall be given to internal candidates.
E. Employees who have indicated in writing a desire to be considered for a vacant position and who hold the appropriate certification/licensure shall be accorded an interview with the Superintendent or his/her designee prior to the position being filled.
F. All supplemental positions provided for in the contract will be posted in the spring. Any positions not filled at the time or vacancies created will be posted immediately as needed. Supplemental positions will be filled in accordance with procedures outlined in 7.01 sections A, C, D, and E.
Posting of Vacancy. (a) Job vacancies at all locations certified by the bargaining agency will be posted locally in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective applicable Agreements.
(b) It is agreed that should a job posting not be filled locally in accordance with the Agreement that a subsequent posting will be made at all locations certified by the bargaining agency.
Posting of Vacancy. Notice of all position vacancies shall be posted on the District Web site, in the District Office and the mail rooms at Foothill College, De Anza College and the Middlefield Campus.
Posting of Vacancy. 1. All vacancy announcements will be posted on the Police Department bulletin board. All officers who wish to apply may do so in the Civil Service Director’s office during administrative business hours.

Posting of Vacancy. When a vacancy for a position occurs within the bargaining unit) such vacancy shall be electronically posted and applications will be accepted from employees within the bargaining unit. A vacancy is defined as any position within the bargaining unit, which is to be filled, but cannot be filled by an employee within such unit or an employee who has recall rights.
Posting of Vacancy. Whenever a vacancy exists or when the Employer wishes to add to the number of employees in any classification covered by this Agreement, a suitable notice will be posted on all bulletin boards for a period of seven (7) working days. A copy of the notice will be given to the Unit Chairperson for posting on bulletin boards.

Posting of Vacancy. Whenever the Employer determines that a permanent vacancy exists, notice of such vacancy shall be posted for seven (7) calendar days. All such notices shall contain a brief description of the position to be filled, including duties, hours of work, and any special qualifications required. Employees desiring to bid on a vacant position must submit their bid to the Sheriff prior to the close of the posting period.

Posting of Vacancy. 1. Any administrative or bargaining unit vacancy or new position shall be communicated to all bargaining unit members via the District email and posted on the District website within ten (10) days of the date on which the vacancy arose.
2. A copy of the notice of vacancies shall be mailed to the Association President at the time it is posted.
3. No vacancy or new position shall be filled until such vacancy or new position has been posted for five (5) workdays during the regular school year or fifteen
