Posting Positions. The Board will endeavor to post positions, prior to May 1, with information on all in-service, curriculum study, and various other projects, including dates and times of curriculum study, special projects, and in- service to be held prior to the start of the next school year. Any new state programs allocated after May 1 will be exempt from the notification dates. Teachers may elect to request to participate, and will be notified prior to May 15 of their acceptance. Salary will be at the pre-announced stipend rate.
Posting Positions. 25.1 In the application of this article, there will be two (2) General Ad bulletins per year, one (1) in April and one (1) in October. All positions in a General Ad will be declared as permanent vacancies and bulletined as such, no later than three (3) weeks in advance of the date they are to be awarded. The General Ad Bid will be closed and run at 1201 on the Tuesday (in place of the weekly PV bid) before the last work week commencing in April or October. Article 26, Clauses 26.15, 26.16 and 26.17 apply.
25.2 Using the description and times last established at the most recent general ad as the standard, assignments modified between general ads must be abolished and re-advertised when one or any combination of the following conditions apply:
i) when the compensated time of an assignment changes by more than 30 minutes.
ii) when the hour and minute that an assignment starts and the hour and minute that an assignment finishes accrue to more than 60 minutes
i) any change to the on/off duty locations
ii) any change in the days off
25.3 In the event a new assignment(s) is created or when an assignment as defined in Article 25.2 is required to be abolished and re-advertised, the Company must post the notice of abolishment and re-advertise the assignment(s) as per Article 26, clause 26.
Posting Positions. The District agrees to post in-house for six (6) days, before recruiting externally, when they intend to fill new or existing or permanent positions authorized by the Board. This provision does not apply when recruiting temporary or contract positions. The District shall encourage unsuccessful internal candidates to receive confidential career counseling from District Supervisory Personnel as feedback for professional development and preparation for future opportunities.

Employees absent for any reason during the entire period of a posting for either permanent or temporary vacancies will be entitled to claim a position which was bulletined and filled in such employee’s absence, no later than upon the completion of the first tour of duty upon such employee’s return from the authorized leave of absence.
Posting Positions. Notices of vacant bargaining unit positions shall be posted for a period of seven (7) days on the central bulletin board in advance of filling the position, in order to allow employees to apply. When a position is posted it shall state the shift, total hours, and the schedule. Employees interested in a given position or shift may express their interest in writing in advance of any opening. Such notices will be retained by the Personnel Department for six (6) months and may be renewed by the employees. From among the applicants, the Hospital will award the job to the most qualified applicant, provided, that if two (2) or more applicants are equally qualified, in the opinion of the Hospital, the position will be awarded to the most senior applicant.
5.3.1. Employee’s who are promoted to a position within their same area of specialization, (i.e. nursing, Lab, Dietary, etc.), will be moved to a step within their new pay grade that provides for at least a 2% pay increase Upon successful completion of the probationary period the employee will be moved to the next step on the wage scale.
Posting Positions. All supplemental salary positions, homebound student tutoring positions, and summer school positions shall be posted in accordance with Section 5.01, except that employees shall have only two (2) days to bid on homebound student tutor positions.
Posting Positions. A. Vacant positions in any classification covered by this Agreement shall be posted on the District’s website for no less than five (5) calendar days unless filled by a HR initiated placement of another employee in that classification. When such an exception is made, the Association will be notified.
B. The posting will include the date the vacancy occurs, the closing date, the subject area or grade level of the vacancy and the school in which the vacancy occurs. To waive the five (5) day posting, the Superintendent (or designee) and the Association must agree in writing (e-mail is acceptable).
Posting Positions. All vacancies or promotional opportunities shall be posted to allow bargaining unit members to apply and be interviewed for said positions before formal Board action on said vacancies.
Posting Positions. When a vacancy in a professional position within the district occurs, the Board agrees to post notice of the vacancy in a conspicuous place in appropriate buildings and to provide a copy of the notice to the Association President five (5) work days prior to filling the vacancy. The Board agrees to review the applications of any employees applying within the five (5) work days prior to awarding the position. The Board retains the right to fill vacancies at its discretion.
Posting Positions. In order to provide current employees with the opportunity of obtaining a regular position, all vacancies will be posted internally and given consideration prior to external applications. Selections will be based on related experiences, qualifications, initiative, and seniority.
