Premium and Overtime Pay. Unless specifically authorized in writing by GDOT, no premium pay or overtime will be considered compensable by GDOT and will not be paid.
Premium and Overtime Pay. Whenever time and one-half as premium or overtime is payable for hours worked under one provision of this Article, those hours will not be considered again for determination of premium or overtime pay under another category.
Premium and Overtime Pay. Each employee covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to premium pay and overtime pay as follows:
A. Premium pay shall be paid to an employee who is required to actually work in excess of forty (40) hours in a workweek. All hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours on the sixth (6th) consecutive day worked shall be compensated at time and one-half (1½) the regular hourly rate of pay. All hours worked on the seventh (7th) consecutive day shall be compensated at two (2) times the regular rate of pay. The eighth and other consecutive days worked shall be compensated at the regular rate of pay.
B. Whenever an employee is required to work on a scheduled day off, the employee shall be compensated at one and one-half (1½) times his/her regular salary on the first scheduled day off. Work performed on his second scheduled day off shall be compensated at two (2) times the regular hourly rate of pay for that employee.
C. All hours worked between the end of an employee’s normal shift and the normal beginning of his or her next shift shall be compensated at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times his or her hourly rate within his or her normal scheduled work week. This shall apply to all employees within the Union regardless of the specific work week, be it the predominant Monday through Friday schedule or another regular schedule.
D. SHOW-UP-TIME
E. In computing overtime, as set forth in B and C above, all shall consist of hours worked and hours in paid status. Hours of actual work and hours in paid status including vacation, sick leave and injury leave shall be counted as hours of work.
F. A non-bargaining unit employee shall not do bargaining unit member work on overtime. Nothing herein shall prohibit non-bargaining unit employees from providing temporary or emergency assistance.

12 8.5.1 Overtime. Overtime compensation will be paid at one and one-half 13 times the nurse's regular straight time hourly rate of pay for hours worked in 14 excess of:
15 A. 40 hours in each workweek of seven consecutive days beginning 16 on Sunday at 0700 for nurses whose regular shift is more than eight 17 hours, or who are regularly scheduled for both eight hour and longer 18 shifts. 20 B. 80 hours in each pay period of 14 consecutive days beginning on 21 Sunday at 0700 for nurses whose regular shift is eight hours.
Premium and Overtime Pay.
17.01 Overtime at the rate of time and one half (1.5) an employee's regular straight time hourly rate shall be paid for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in a week.
17.02 Overtime shall be voluntary and offered by seniority within the shift and classification. Should overtime be necessary and there are no volunteers, the most junior employee within the shift and classification shall be required to perform the overtime.
17.03 Overtime must be authorized by the Company.
17.04 A shift premium of seventy-five cents ($0.75) shall be paid for all hours worked based on finish times between 9:00 pm and 3:29 am.
17.05 A shift premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) shall be paid for all hours worked based on finish times between 3:30 am and 10:00 am.
Premium and Overtime Pay. 9.02 OVERTIME PAY AND PARAGRAPH 3 STEP #1 – In the event that a breach in the fair distribution of overtime takes place, the employee who was not asked to work will be compensated by working at the applicable rate and applicable hours in question at a time of his choosing within thirty (30) calendar days from the time of the violation. It is agreed that this compensation will be without taking the overtime from another employee. STEP #2 – In the event that a breach in the fair distribution of overtime takes place for a second time to an employee within a 6 month period from STEP #1 then that employee will be compensated by working at the applicable rate and applicable hours in question for fifty percent (50%) of the violation at a time of his choosing within thirty (30) calendar days from the time of the violation and will be financially compensated for fifty percent (50%) of the violation at the applicable rate and applicable hours in question on the next available pay xxxxxx.Xx is agreed that this compensation of working will be without taking the overtime from another employee.
Premium and Overtime Pay. Premium and overtime pay for bargaining unit employees granted changes in hours of duty shall be calculated and paid in accordance with government-wide law, rule, or regulation.
Premium and Overtime Pay. 17.01 The Parties agree an employee will be entitled to overtime pay for overtime hours pre- approved by the Company where the employee works over eighty eight (88) hours in a two week period.
17.02 Pursuant to past practice, a Driver will receive a $2.00 per hour increase to their rate of pay for any work performed on a day that they are not regularly scheduled to work.
