Safety and Security Requirements. Whenever the provision of goods or services under the Agreement requires a party to be on the property of the other party, each party shall observe all reasonable security and safety procedures or requirements imposed by the other party on third parties providing like goods or services.
Safety and Security Requirements. The District's priority is the safety of its students and staff. Failure to comply with any requirements in this section will result immediate District action, up to and including contract termination and immediate removal of the Contractor or offending person from the job site.

(c) The Road Authority agrees to comply with and to ensure the Contractor complies with security regulatory directives and requirements as communicated by CP from time to time.
(d) The Road Authority shall be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining its own Safety and Emergency Response Plan for the Project Site and all Personnel and for ensuring that all Personnel understand and comply with the practices and procedures set out in such plan. In addition to the minimum requirements stipulated in Subsection 2(c) of this Schedule, the Safety and Emergency Response Plan must include:
(i) reporting and response procedures in the event of an incident or accident;
(ii) emergency response service providers and contacts and their phone numbers; and
(iii) incident reporting phone numbers, including phone numbers for CP incident reporting and local CP personnel.
(e) The Road Authority and all Personnel shall adhere to the directions of any CP flag persons, inspectors and supervisory personnel (including engineering and technical support) as CP may require to supervise any Work on the Railway Lands. Instructions may include orders with respect to security restrictions, safety requirements or emergency situations.
(f) The Road Authority acknowledges that CP has limited resources available for flagging protection and that flagging protection is subject to the availability of qualified flagpersons who must be allocated by CP across its service area for ongoing Railway Operations and other concurrent construction and maintenance projects. As a result, a maximum of two (2) flag persons will be available for the Project, for a maximum of forty (40) hours per week per flag person (including travel time to the Project Site), Monday through Friday; CP will not grant any requests to provide flagpersons to work any additional days or overtime.

(a) Developer shall require that any work that is being done on, over, under or adjacent to Amtrak's right-of-way by anyone other than Amtrak forces shall be carried out in accordance with the then-current version of Amtrak's “Specifications Regarding Safety and Protection of Railroad Traffic and Property,” the current version of which is attached as Attachment A to the Temporary Permit to Enter Upon Property. Safety and Security Requirements. 19.1 The WDO shall comply with the provisions of this Agreement, Applicable Laws, Applicable Permits and conform to Good Industry Practice for securing the safety and security of the Washery, equipment and individuals on or about the Site at its cost and expense. The WDO shall have the sole responsibility to verify and take necessary actions and measures to ensure that all safety and security measures at the Washery are fully implemented, maintained and kept in proper working order. All costs and expenses arising out of or relating to such requirements shall be borne by the WDO.
19.2 The WDO shall, during the Contract Period, undertake appropriate risk and safety assessment of the Washery for potential safety and health hazards.
19.3 The WDO shall make arrangements for the engagement of all personnel, and their payment, accommodation, feeding and transport. No person below the age of 18 (eighteen) years shall be employed by the WDO for the execution of the Scope of Works.
19.4 The WDO shall employ such number and quality of persons for the execution of the Scope of Works (either directly or through sub-contractors) as may be necessary to complete the Scope of Works as per the timelines provided in the Agreement.
19.5 The WDO shall install security and surveillance equipment in conformity with Applicable Laws and Good Industry Practice to ensure and procure the safety and security of its personnel, Washery and Site.
19.6 The WDO shall arrange for a canteen, clean and safe drinking water, safe and hygienic toilets for workers, rest shelters, first aid stations, ambulances, fire hydrants and other facilities/ amenities as required under Applicable Laws for ensuring safety, health and welfare of the employees or other persons, as may be deployed directly or indirectly by the WDO.
19.7 The WDO shall provide suitable, reliable, and adequate fire-fighting system having fire-fighting hydrant points at strategic locations on all the floors of the Washery as per BIS regulations and prevalent norms. In addition to this, fire extinguishers of different types suitable for industrial use shall be provided at all the required vulnerable locations.

Safety and Security Requirements. A. The Contractor shall provide and ensure that all personnel providing services under this contract are in compliance with applicable laws, standards, and health and safety requirements of the industry.
B. A standard background check shall be required for the Contractor and Contractor’s employees and sub-contractors to access and perform work at Utilities Department at vendors cost
C. The Contractor shall initiate, maintain, and supervise all safety precautions and programs in connection with its services or performance of its operations under this contract.
D. The Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent injury to employees, including County employees and all other persons affected by their operations.
E. The Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent damage or loss to property of Orange County, or of other Contractors, consultants or agencies and shall be held responsible for replacing or repairing any such loss or damage.
F. The Contractor shall comply with all ordinances, rules, regulations, standards and lawful orders from authority bearing on the safety of persons or property or their protection from damage, injury or loss.
