Seniority Schedules. A. The seniority schedules shall be updated and posted tri-annually by the Authority.
Seniority Schedules. The Company recognizes seniority rights for full time and part time employees within each classification of the Banquet Department provided for in this Agreement. New employees shall be considered as probationary employees during the first five (5) functions worked fifteen (15) hours in their classifications. Work schedules for banquet employees shall be established in accordance with the current practice. The work day shall be defined in terms of the number of functions worked in a day. No employee shall be required to work more than three (3) functions on any given day. Work schedules indicating the and to be worked, shall be posted in a mutually agreed upon location no later than Thursday of the week prior to the week for which it applies. Employees shall be notified of changes made to the schedule subsequent to it being posted. Notice of changes to the work schedule for full time employees that result in a reduction of hours must be given at least eight (8) hours in advance, otherwise the employee shall receive work for his scheduled hours, or pay in lieu of work for three (3) hours at his basic rate of pay. For part time employees, notice of a change in schedule that results in a reduction of hours of work must be notified at least two (2) hours in advance of the commencement of the breakfast or lunch shifts and six (6) hours in advance of a dinner function, otherwise the employee shall receive work for his scheduled hours, or pay lieu of work for three (3) hours at his basic rate of pay. For captains and porters, overtime at the rate of time and one-half of the employee’s basic rate shall be paid for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) per day, forty (40) hours per week and on the sixth and seventh consecutive days worked. For the purposes of calculating overtime, the worksheet shall from Saturday to Friday inclusive. For all other banquet classifications, overtime at the rate of time and one-half of the employee’s basic rate shall be paid for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week and on the sixth and seventh consecutive days worked. Seniority Schedules. Separate seniority schedules shall be established for regular full-time and part-time Employees. Part-time seniority shall, at all times, be subordinate to regular full-time seniority for the purposes of layoff and recall. The Library shall maintain a seniority list showing the date upon which each Employee’s service commenced. An up-to-date seniority list shall be sent to the Union and posted by the Library in the Employee staff room in July and January of each year.

  • Seniority Roster The District shall maintain an updated seniority roster, indicating employee's class seniority and hire date seniority. Such rosters shall be available to CSEA.

  • Seniority Rosters Quarterly, the Employer shall prepare a roster of all bargaining unit employees in an institution, geographic jurisdiction or Agency as appropriate. The roster will list employees in descending order of State seniority credits and will contain each employee’s name, State seniority credits, and Institutional seniority credits if applicable. Seniority rosters will be provided to the Chapter President or Assembly President and posted in the work areas of affected employees. Where available, the Employer may provide an electronic posting of the roster in lieu of a paper roster. Each employee’s individual employee seniority credits will be displayed on the employee’s earnings statement.

  • Seniority List The Employer shall maintain a seniority list showing the date upon which each employee's service commenced. An up-to-date seniority list shall be sent to the Union and posted on all bulletin boards in January of each year.

  • Transfers and Seniority Outside Bargaining Unit No employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without the employee's consent. If an employee is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit, the employee shall retain seniority acquired at the date of leaving the unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. If such an employee later returns to the bargaining unit, the employee shall be placed in a job consistent with the employee's seniority. Such return shall not result in the layoff or bumping of an employee holding greater seniority.

  • Transfer and Seniority Outside the Bargaining Unit (a) It is understood that an employee shall not be transferred by the Hospital to a position outside the bargaining unit without his consent except in the case of temporary assignments not exceeding six (6) months. Such employees on temporary assignments shall remain members of the bargaining unit.

  • Seniority Lists A copy of the seniority list will be posted by January 31st and July 31st of each calendar year on designated bulletin boards with a copy forwarded to the bargaining unit president. Included in the list shall be a breakdown of total hours paid for part-time employees. All lists will include date of hire. Any errors noted in the seniority list should be noted and the employer notified within thirty (30) days, after which the list shall be considered final.

  • Seniority Dates Upon request, the Employer agrees to make available to the Union the seniority dates of any employees covered by this Agreement. Such seniority dates shall be subject to correction for error on proper representation by the Union.

  • Seniority Application Except under extraordinary circumstances, vacations, shifts, shift transfers and regular days off shall be scheduled with due regard for the needs of the agency, seniority, and employee preference. The state and the PBA understand that there may be times when the needs of the agency will not permit such scheduling.

  • Super Seniority In the event of a layoff, the Plant Chairperson, Committeepersons and Stewards shall have super seniority.
