TRADE UNION RECOGNITION. 12.1 The Organisation shall use all reasonable endeavours to observe good industrial relations practices in all its dealings with its employees and volunteers. Any arrangements with trade unions shall be treated as a local issue between the Organisation and its employees.
12.2 However, the Organisation shall advise the Council of any potential or actual dispute with its employees or volunteers (individually or collectively).
TRADE UNION RECOGNITION. 2.01 The employer recognizes the trade union as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agent for all employees of the employer at its Visa Call Centre located at 0000 Xxxx 0xx Xxxxxx, in the City of Vancouver, described in a certification issued by the Canada Labour Relations Board, dated September 8, 1998, (Order No. 7441-U), excluding Administrative Managers and persons above the rank of Administrative Manager, and Administrative Assistant, Payroll Clerk, Facilitator, LAN Specialist, Inspector and Fraud Officer Coordinator.

TRADE UNION RECOGNITION. 3.1 No Comtrade Group Company recognises any trade union, works council, works representatives, staff association or other body representing any of the Employees or Workers (or any of them) for the purpose of collective bargaining or other negotiating purposes or has received a formal request for recognition of any such body.
3.2 There are no collective labour agreements applicable to any CDS Group Company and no collective labour agreement is currently being negotiated by or on behalf of any CDS Group Company.

3.2 The Recognition Agreement underpins the legislative framework which provides Trades Unions with statutory rights which include the following:- Entitlement to receive information for collective bargaining purposes The right to be consulted on the handling of redundancies and transfer of undertakings The right of officials to request reasonable time off work to carry out trade union duties, and undertake trade union training The right of ordinary members to have time off for union activities. TRADE UNION RECOGNITION. 3.1 The Trust is fully aware of the benefit of recognising the Trade Union organisations that represent the interests of the majority of its staff. This Agreement provides details of the Trade Union organisations the Trust recognises for the purposes of negotiation, bargaining and consultation on an individual and collective basis, listed in Appendix One. These are the only Trade Unions the Trust recognises for the purposes of consultation and negotiation. Representatives of these Trade Unions only will be entitled to attend the Trust’s negotiation and consultation bodies listed in section 3.4 of this policy and to be consulted upon on matters such as any potential Redundancy, TUPE, situations or Service Restructures.
3.2 Whilst membership of a Trade Union is not a condition of employment, the Trust encourages employees to belong to the most appropriate Trade Union for their profession/role. The Trust recognises the importance of establishing a framework for the local determination of pay and terms and conditions (where appropriate) and this Agreement seeks to describe clearly the structure that is in place.
TRADE UNION RECOGNITION. 43.1 The Company recognises the TWU as the union representing Employees employed by the Company and acknowledges that the TWU has a right to manage its own affairs and to represent and organise on behalf of their members in the workplace. Employees will have reasonable access to TWU officials at the workplace in paid time, subject to operational requirements and prior approval of the Manager.
43.2 The Company recognises TWU delegates in their capacity as workplace representatives of Employees and will treat them fairly and allow them to perform their role without discrimination or interference.
43.3 The Company recognises the fact that TWU delegates or co-delegates are required to attend union meetings, training courses, etc., during the course of their duties.
43.4 The Company will allow in total ten (10) days for each representative (no more than 5 representatives) in any calendar year to attend such courses or the annual TWU delegates conference. The representatives shall be paid at ordinary rates. The request for leave must be applied for in writing with as much notice as possible and will be subject to operational requirements. Such requests will be made by the TWU in writing.
43.5 Presenting information on the TWU and Trade Union activities at induction sessions for new Employees of the Employer.
43.6 TWU representative will be allowed up to 30 minutes with new Employees and new labour hire Employees undertaking inductions.
1. Suitable facilities (such as the lunchroom) will be provided for inductions.
2. Site management will not attend TWU inductions but will assist in facilitating the induction process.
43.7 Subject to operational requirements and prior approval by the Manager or their Delegate, Workplace representatives shall have the following rights in paid time: ● to be treated fairly and to perform their role as union delegate or workplace representative without any discrimination in their employment; ● to speak on behalf of union members in the workplace; ● to bargain collectively on behalf of those they represent; ● to access a phone, fax, photocopier or email for the purpose of carrying out work as a delegate or workplace representative; ● to place Union information on a noticeboard; ● to maintain regular contact with the Union organiser; ● the right to consultation, and access within reason about information regarding the workplace and business; ● the right to consult with Union members during normal working hours; and ● the right to discu...
