UNIFORM AND CLEANING ALLOWANCE. 15.1: There will be an annual uniform allowance of eight hundred seventy dollars ($870.00) with four hundred dollars ($400) to be paid in cash as soon as possible after the commencement of the fiscal year. 15.2: New employees employed as probationary PSO or PSO I shall be provided all uniform needs for the first year of their employment. Upon the commencement of their second year of employment, such employees shall receive one-half of the cash uniform allowance. Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period, the employee will be paid the second half of the normal cash uniform allowance. Thereafter, the employee shall receive the usual uniform allowance provided above. 15.3: A special one hundred ($150.00) dollar uniform allowance will be provided to any employee who has been assigned or promoted to any position requiring a different uniform or different clothing than that being worn by such employee at the time of such assignment or promotion, provided that such assignment is six (6) months within any twelve (12) month period. 15.4: Officers whose regular assignment requires civilian clothes shall receive their uniform allowance in cash, one-half of which is to be given in July and one-half in January of each year. 15.5: Uniform Cleaning Allowance. No fixed uniform cleaning allowance will be paid. However, the Director of Public Safety shall have the authority to approve payment for the cleaning, repair and replacement of clothing worn in the normal performance of duty which has become soiled as the direct result of an unusual activity on the part of any officer in the discharge of his duties. In the administration of this paragraph, unusual activities shall be construed to include fire-fighting activity and extended exposure in inclement weather while directing traffic or pursuing other Public Safety functions. 15.6: To assist in the facilitation of converting to a new uniform color the city will provide a special one time credit to a uniform vendor, determined by the City, for three (3) long-sleeve dark blue shirts and three (3) short sleeve dark ready to wear blue shirts

UNIFORM AND CLEANING ALLOWANCE. Upon completion of probation, all nurses shall be entitled to a monthly uniform and cleaning allowance to be paid by direct deposit or separate cheque on the first [1st] pay in May and November of each year as follows: (a) full-time nurses - $10.00/month; (b) part-time nurses - $ 5.00/month. (a) The Employer will recognize recent and related nursing experience of newly hired nurses on the basis that for every one (1) year of such substantiated experience, the nurse will receive one (1) annual increment up to the to the maximum of the salary grid. The nurse will provide the Employer with proof of recent and relevant experience within one (1) month of start date. in order to be considered for a salary increment. Should the nurse encounter any difficulties in obtaining proof of previous experience she/he will notify the employer as to the reasons The Employer shall advise the nurse of this requirement upon advancing an offer of employment. (b) An annual increment shall be paid on each full-time nurse's anniversary date of employment subject to Article 9.04, and after each fifteen hundred (1500) hours worked and paid for in the case of part-time.
UNIFORM AND CLEANING ALLOWANCE. The annual uniform and cleaning allowance for full-time employees shall be $1,750.00. The allowance shall be paid in two (2) installments as follows: $875 will be paid out during the first full pay period in July using new fiscal year funds, and $875 will be paid out during the first full pay period in January... Employees who leave the Department either through termination or resignation prior to December 31st of each year will not receive the second payment. The amount of reimbursement may be reduced in the sole discretion of the Chief of Police or his/her designee. Uniforms shall be maintained as required by the Rules and Regulations and the Policies and Procedures of the Department. All changes of style or color of uniform or attire, or any change of equipment or accouterments ordered by the Town or by the Chief of Police, shall be fully paid for by the Littleton Police Department over and above the aforesaid clothing allowance. All flashlights, batteries, weapons and other special equipment required of full time em- ployees and Reserve officers and approved by the Chief of Police or his designee shall be supplied by the Town at no cost of the employee. Portable radios - The Department will issue each full time officer a portable radio. The equipment type, manufacturer and model will be determined by the Chief of Police. Portable radio equipment will be the property of the Littleton Police Department. Officers will be responsible for carrying their issued portable radio while on duty. The purchase of soft body armor shall be paid for by the Town, when an employee requests such a purchase. Employees who request the purchase of body armor shall agree to wear the body armor when on patrol duty or when assigned duties (i.e. investi- gations) whether in civilian clothes or uniform. Exceptions to this policy shall be by permission of the Chief of Police on a per incident basis. The body armor provided shall be of a standard agreed upon by a committee made up of the Chief of Police and the Union bargaining committee. The replacement of damaged or worn body armor shall be at the discretion of the Chief or as called for by the manufacturer's warranty.
UNIFORM AND CLEANING ALLOWANCE. The City shall allocate five hundred dollars ($500) per year, per employee, for the purchase of uniforms and replacement of uniform items. Said items may include a duty weapon, no more than on~ (1) pair of uniform shoes per year, and body armor. UNIFORM AND CLEANING ALLOWANCE. Section 1. The Town agrees to pay each full-time officer a cleaning and clothing allowance of one thousand four hundred ($1,400) dollars annually to be paid no later than the first pay period in August each year subject to all applicable taxes. Section 2. Only those articles of clothing and equipment as authorized by the Chief of Police shall be worn on duty. Section 3. Any new uniform, uniform item or uniform decoration issued (not replacement) as ordered by the Chief of Police and approved by the Town shall be originally purchased and provided by the Town and subsequently maintained and replaced by the employee. Section 4. Articles of clothing worn while on duty will be clean and neat appearing at all times. Equipment likewise will be kept in good and serviceable condition. Section 5. The Town shall provide appropriate body armor, approved by the Chief, for all new members of the association and to be required to wear in accordance with the department’s policy. The Town will further provide a replacement vest after five (5) years, when requested by the member. Section 6. When a new officer is hired from the ranks of Reserve or Auxiliary officers the existing equipment and uniforms the officer possesses shall be utilized by the officer. The Town shall not be responsible for purchasing new equipment or uniforms unless a need is determined by the Chief of Police.

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance Employees required to work more than two (2) hours overtime consecutive with a shift shall be provided with a meal by the Employer.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Parental Leave Allowance ‌ (a) An employee who qualifies for parental leave pursuant to Article 35.03, shall be paid a parental leave allowance in accordance with the Supplemental Employment Benefit (SEB) Plan. In order to receive this allowance, the employee must provide to the Employer proof of application and eligibility to receive employment insurance benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act. An employee disentitled or disqualified from receiving employment insurance benefits is not eligible for parental leave allowance. (b) Pursuant to the Supplemental Employment Benefit (SEB) Plan and subject to leave apportionment pursuant to Article 35.03(b), the parental leave allowance will consist of a maximum of ten (10) weekly payments, equivalent to the difference between the employment insurance gross benefits and any other earnings received by the employee, and seventy-five (75) percent of the employee’s basic pay.

  • Annual Leave Loading During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading of 17.5 per cent calculated on the employee’s normal hourly rate of pay and the daily fares allowance if applicable. The loading will also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.

  • Tenant Allowance Landlord shall provide Tenant an allowance for each Building in an amount not to exceed the sum set forth in the Basic Lease Information for the Tenant Allowance for the applicable Building (collectively, the “Tenant Allowance”), to be applied toward the cost of the following items in respect of the Tenant Improvements in the applicable Building: Architectural and engineering fees, space planning, building permits or other governmental fees, and the cost of labor, materials, contractors fees and overhead, and other charges included in the construction contract for construction of Tenant Improvements, including the contractor’s fee, overhead and general conditions, sales and use taxes, the cost of the builder’s risk insurance during construction and all testing and inspection costs. If Landlord elects to itself construct the Restroom Improvements, Landlord shall make payments to its contractor for the Restroom Improvements as and when such costs are incurred and deduct the amount of such payments from the Tenant Allowance for Building 2 up to the maximum amount stated in Paragraph I of this Work Letter. Landlord shall not be obligated to disburse any remaining portion of the Tenant Allowance attributable to a Building until such time as (i) the Commencement Date for the applicable Building has occurred and Tenant has accepted delivery of the Building and made the initial prepayment of Rent with respect to the applicable portion of the Premises; and (ii) Tenant has delivered to Landlord and Landlord has approved, in Landlord’s reasonable discretion, all of the following: (A) invoices, paid receipts and/or related evidence reasonably acceptable to Landlord establishing that Tenant has paid an amount equal to that portion of the Tenant Allowance requested by Tenant to third parties in connection with the Tenant Improvements in the applicable Building; (B) executed unconditional final mechanics’ lien releases, in statutory form, from Tenant’s contractor and all subcontractors, laborers, materialmen and suppliers used by Tenant with respect to all work in and to the Premises located in the applicable Building; (C) a certificate from Tenant’s architect or space planner, in a form reasonably acceptable to Landlord, certifying that the construction of the Tenant Improvements in the applicable Building has been substantially completed and meets all applicable building codes; (D) a copy of the certificate of occupancy (or similar governmental authorization) for the applicable Building; (E) “as-built” drawings for the Tenant Improvements in the applicable Building, signed by either Tenant’s architect, space planner or contractor, and electronic CAD files from Tenant’s Contractor and all subcontractors; and (F) a final punch list signed off by both Tenant and Landlord and/or their architects. Thereafter, Landlord shall deliver, within fifteen (15) days following Tenant’s delivery of the materials and information required for disbursement thereof in the preceding sentence, a check payable to Tenant in the amount of that portion of the Tenant Allowance requested by Tenant and paid to third parties in connection with the Tenant Improvements for the applicable Building (which amount shall not exceed the portion of the Tenant Allowance provided for such Building as specified in the Basic Lease Information). Landlord’s payment of any portion of the Tenant Allowance shall not be deemed Landlord’s approval any of the Tenant Improvements absent Landlord’s prior approval pursuant to this Work Letter. Landlord’s obligation to disburse the Tenant Allowance for each Building under this Paragraph 9(b) shall expire six (6) months after the Delivery Date for the applicable Building, subject to extension due to Force Majeure, such that Landlord shall not be obligated to provide to Tenant any undisbursed portion of the Tenant Allowance for a Building unless Tenant has delivered to Landlord all documents required above within nine (9) months after the Delivery Date of such Building.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.
