Union Security and Dues Deductions. 3.1 The State Controller shall deduct Union dues and service charges from the wages of all members within the respective bargaining unit.
Union Security and Dues Deductions. 3.1.1 The District will inform new bargaining unit employees of the Union status as the exclusive bargaining representative. Employees have the right to become a member of the appropriate affiliated union representing their position. 3.1.2 The Union will notify the Employer of its dues schedule and subsequent changes as necessary. The District agrees to deduct monthly Union dues levied for those employees who voluntarily request in writing that such dues be deducted. All such deducted amounts shall be forwarded by the District to the appropriate Union. An employee may cancel his/her payroll deduction of dues or fees by written notice to the Union and the District. The District and the Union agree to communicate as soon as practicable upon receiving notice from an employee. Every effort will be made to end the deduction effective on the first payroll, but no later than the second payroll, after the receipt notice.
Union Security and Dues Deductions. 3.1.1 The District will make a payroll deduction for Union dues and assessments upon receipt of a written authorization executed by an individual employee. Any deductions for political contributions subject to RCW 42.17A.495 shall be separately authorized in writing by the employee on forms that comply with WAC 000-00-000, and be revocable by the employee at any time. The District shall provide all employees annual notice of their rights regarding payroll deductions for political contributions under WAC 000-00-000.

However, all nonunion members of the bargaining unit shall be assessed an administrative fee equal to that portion of the annual dues which is related to the negotiation and administration of this Agreement. Upon failure of an employee to comply within thirty (30) days of their employment to the terms of this paragraph, the Union shall notify the Superintendent of Schools, in writing, and said employee shall be dismissed.
Union Security and Dues Deductions. 4.0 Voluntary Authorizations: MCA shall deduct Union membership dues for each pay period worked in the amount specified by the Union from the salary of each employee who has submitted a written authorization.

Union Security and Dues Deductions. 3.1.1 The Employer shall have the right to hire persons without regard to Union membership: provided, however, that the Employer and the Union shall abide by the following Union Security Clause which reads as follows: It shall be a condition of employment that all employees of the Employer covered by this Agreement, who are members of the Union in good standing on the effective date of this Agreement shall remain members in good standing, and those who are not members on the effective date of this Agreements shall, on or before the thirty-first (31st) day following the effective date of this Agreement, become and remain members in good standing. It shall also be a condition of employment that all employees covered by this Agreement and hired on or after its effective date shall, on or before the thirty-first (31st) day following the beginning of such employment become and remain members in good standing of the Union.
Union Security and Dues Deductions. 22.0 The Board agrees to deduct monthly dues, as specified by Council #4, AFSCME, from the wages of all employees covered by this Agreement provided, however, that the Board has been duly and voluntarily authorized in writing by the employee to make such deductions.
