Bargaining Unit Exclusions. The Faculty Bargaining Unit shall exclude the following:
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. The Professional Support Bargaining Unit comprises all Professional Support Employees employed by the College. Professional Support Employees are employed primarily as non-managerial professionals whose key responsibilities involve providing educational support services of a non- instructional nature to students and/or staff. A Professional Support Employee may perform some tasks associated with management functions such as development of policy, budget preparation and administration, procuring materials, planning job priorities, assigning and coordinating work, participating in the selection process for hiring staff, and participating in the performance review process.
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. (a) Employees working in the following classifications/positions will be excluded from the bargaining unit: Confidential employees, management- level employees, supervisors, substitutes, seasonal and casual/seasonal employees, professional employees, as defined by Chapter 4117 ORC, technology coordinators, the Treasurer, all employees working in the Treasurer's Office and all Administrative offices secretaries.
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. Employees working in the following classified positions will be excluded from the bargaining unit:
a) Director of Transportation
b) Director of Facilities and Maintenance
c) Director of Food Service
d) Director of Technology
e) Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent
f) Administrative Assistant to Business Manager/Director of Human Resources
g) Employees of Xxxxxx Cultural Center
h) Treasurer
i) Business Manager/Director of Human Resources
j) Substitute Employees
k) Employees of schools chartered by the state of Ohio
l) Employees of West Central Juvenile Detention Center m) Other administrative or supervisory personnel n) Assistant to the Treasurer
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. All employees whose classification is not listed in Section 1 above shall be excluded from the bargaining unit. In addition, the following groups of employees are excluded from the bargaining unit:
A. Those classes which, on the effective date of this Agreement, are represented by other recognized bargaining agents.
B. Employees within their twelve (12) months probationary period.
C. Temporary, seasonal and part-time employees.
D. Management employees.
E. Non-supervisory patrol officers.
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. 1. Any position that is currently included in the bargaining unit may not be excluded from the bargaining unit without the agreement of the parties.
2. The Board will notify and consult with the Union whenever the creation or deletion of the following positions is contemplated by the Board:
a. any administrative officer position as defined in the School Act.
b. any position temporarily created for a specific educational purpose; and
c. any new associated professional positions.
3. The Union shall be provided with a description of duties of new positions offered in the District.
4. The Board shall meet with the Union with respect to any new positions which the Union believes are included in the bargaining unit in accordance with Article A.2 (Recognition of the Union). The Board and the Union shall make every effort to agree on whether the new position is included or excluded from the bargaining unit.
5. Where the inclusion or exclusion of a position is in dispute, the issue of whether or not the position is, in substance, that of a teacher and/or is in the bargaining unit is an issue which can be grieved pursuant to Article A.6 (Grievance Procedure).
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. 1. Casual Part-time employees shall be excluded from the bargaining unit and such employees shall be defined as any employee whose hours do not meet the minimum hours for full-time or regular part-time employment, or any substitute employee.
2. Other excluded positions are: The Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Supervisors, Coordinators, Directors, Assistant Directors, Principals, other administrative personnel and all non-certified personnel.
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. Upon excluding any position from the bargaining unit, the Employer shall send a notice to the Union of the position to be excluded along with the applicable position description. These positions questioned by the Union shall be discussed with the Employer within ten (10) days from the date of notification.
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. All employees whose classification is not listed in section 2.2. above shall be excluded from the bargaining unit.
Bargaining Unit Exclusions. The bargaining unit includes all full-time employees, as set forth in the certification issued by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board (SERB) in Case Number 2009-REP-12-0144, employed in any of the following classifications: Corrections Officer Secretary All other classifications within the Sheriff’s Office are excluded from the bargaining unit. All management level employees, confidential, supervisory, seasonal and casual employees, and all other employees specifically excluded by the Ohio Collective Bargaining Law shall be excluded from the bargaining unit.
