COMPANY STRENGTH. 1. Each engine company maintained by the City shall be actually staffed on each shift with no less than two fire fighters. 2. Each ladder company maintained by the City shall be actually staffed on each shift with no less than two fire fighters. 3. Each shift shall be scheduled to be overseen by at least one (1) Captain and an Assistant Chief; however, only one of said officers need to be actually working on each shift. 4. The number of pieces of apparatus and fire companies maintained by the City is left to the City's discretion, however, the City shall maintain at all times an on-duty staffing of no less than ten (10) fire fighters and one (1) officer in Fire Suppression, and a minimum of two full time bargaining unit members in the Fire Prevention Bureau. In exchange for the minimum staffing requirement, the Local agrees to transfer the administration and inspection of tenant-occupied properties within the City, including rechecks and complaints, out of the bargaining unit. 5. Safety and Health a. There are essentially two (2) distinct areas of concern regarding the safety and health of employees who are covered by the terms of this contract: i. The first, which affects the safety and well-being of employees, involves the inherent hazards of a fire fighting environment; and ii. The second, which affects the safety and health of employees, involves the inherent hazards associated with the normal operations of the buildings and equipment covered by the terms of this agreement. With respect to the first, the Employer agrees that no firefighter should be needlessly subjected to a danger that could be avoided or minimized and, therefore, will lower those inherent hazards, including personnel assignments, to the lowest possible reasonable level. The Union recognizes that by the very nature of the duties associated with firefighting, these hazards can never be completely eliminated. With respect to the second, the Employer agrees to furnish to employees places, equipment and conditions of employment that are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious bodily harm. COMPANY STRENGTH. Section 1. Each engine and ladder truck company in the Decatur Fire Department shall, at all times the same is in service, be attended by not less than three employees in the classified fire service, one of whom shall be an officer. During temporary periods not to exceed two hours in duration, such apparatus may be staffed by two employees, one of whom shall be an officer.
COMPANY STRENGTH. The Department shall maintain a minimum staffing level of eighty-eight firefighters, including the Fire Chief, with a minimum of twenty-six firefighters assigned to each of two shifts and twenty-five firefighters assigned to the other shift. When a firefighter separates from service causing Department staffing to fall below eighty-eight, it shall be brought back to the minimum level as follows: A. To accommodate fire-training academy schedules, the Department may delay hiring new Members until seven days prior to the start of spring and fall academies, while still recognizing the importance of minimum staffing levels. B. If a Member separates from service within forty-five days or less of the start of a fire- training academy program, the City is not required to hire a replacement to attend the immediate academy, but shall have hired the replacement(s) at least seven days prior to the subsequent academy. C. The staffing of the Operations, Prevention and Training Divisions, including the Fire Chief, shall be at the minimum level of eighty-eight at least seven days prior to the start of the spring and fall academies, and shall not fall below the minimum staffing level until another Member separates from service. D. Every Member hired after September 30, 2002, shall satisfactorily complete an acceptable fire-training academy program held by the Department or Northern Colorado Fire Consortium (a/k/a Front Range Fire Consortium) within twelve consecutive months after being hired or within such other period as may be provided by law. E. The use of E.O.D. compensatory time is restricted for Platoon Personnel when a Member is transferred to a forty hour week duty assignment or reassigned by the Fire Chief. F. For the safety of the Members and the citizens of Cheyenne, and the effective utilization of fire equipment, a minimum of three full-time, professional firefighters (one officer, one engineer and one firefighter) shall be assigned to each pumper, without dual assignment, and a minimum of four full-time, professional firefighters (one officer, two engineers and one firefighter) shall be assigned to each ladder company in service, without dual assignment, for a minimum staffing of twenty firefighters. G. To comply with the federally mandated rule “2 in - 2 out,” the Incident Commander shall have full discretion in all matters as they relate to the dispatch of firefighting equipment and personnel to all structure fires and other incidents, particularly when safe...

It is understood that the rescue truck may be operated as an initial response with one (1) employee on all responses, or may be increased at the discretion of the on-duty officer.   • Experience, Financial Capability and Suitability Subscriber is: (i) sophisticated in financial matters and is able to evaluate the risks and benefits of the investment in the Shares and (ii) able to bear the economic risk of its investment in the Shares for an indefinite period of time because the Shares have not been registered under the Securities Act (as defined below) and therefore cannot be sold unless subsequently registered under the Securities Act or an exemption from such registration is available. Subscriber is capable of evaluating the merits and risks of its investment in the Company and has the capacity to protect its own interests. Subscriber must bear the economic risk of this investment until the Shares are sold pursuant to: (i) an effective registration statement under the Securities Act or (ii) an exemption from registration available with respect to such sale. Subscriber is able to bear the economic risks of an investment in the Shares and to afford a complete loss of Subscriber’s investment in the Shares.

  • Rewards PROGRAMS You may have selected a Rewards Program for your account or, if you selected a Popular / AAdvantage® card, then the terms of the AAdvantage® Program apply. REWARDS PROGRAM WHAT IT MEANS HOW IT AFFECTS YOU Return A rewards program that earns cash back per every purchase made with the Card. The reward program accumulates in cash 1% of all net Purchases made with your credit Card. Net Purchases are Purchases minus any credits or returns. In your billing statement, you will receive an estimate of the Reward accumulated. The redemption of money will be automatic and will occur once a year, in January. You will not be able to redeem your Reward before this date. The Bank will send you a check for the balance of your Reward to the address where you receive your billing statements. If you return merchandise, the Reward for that merchandise will be deducted. The percent of the deduction will be calculated based on the earning structure at the moment the merchandise was returned. If the amount of your Reward is less than ten (10) dollars at the automatic redemption period, you will not receive a check but it will accumulate to your account for the next redemption period. If your account has a derogative condition, the Bank will be able to retain your Reward until the condition ends or cancel the Reward completely, at the Bank's sole discretion. When calculating the Reward, the Bank will use the total dollar amount of each transaction eliminating the cents. The Bank's determination of the Reward is final. To receive the Reward, your account must be kept open until the date of the Reward payment. You authorize us to report to American Airlines, AAdvantage® miles earned with us. You also authorize us to share with American Airlines your email address and experiential and transactional information regarding your activity with us. You will earn AAdvantage® miles for Purchases as long as your Account is current, in good standing and open the day the Transaction is registered in your Account. The miles are earned multiplying the Transaction amount by the earn rate per dollar specific to your Card product. The total amount of miles per Transaction, without decimals, will be considered for the total amount of miles to be reported to AAdvantage® every account cycle. The Bank will report the miles earned with your AAdvantage® credit Card as long as your Account is current and in good standing the day of your cycle. The miles earned with your credit Card that are not reported to AAdvantage® because your Account has a derogative condition at cycle date, will be reported to AAdvantage® in the future if your Account becomes current. American Airlines reserves the right to change AAdvantage® program rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers at any time without notice and to end the AAdvantage® program with six (6) months prior notice. If your Account is in default, we may close your Account or terminate or suspend your credit privileges without notice and require full payment of your outstanding balance immediately. We can also begin collection activities. To the extent permitted by law, if you are in default because you have failed to pay us, we will require you to pay our collection costs, attorneys’ fees, court costs and all other expenses of enforcing our rights under this Agreement. Arbitration of Disputes This Agreement contains an Arbitration Provision immediately below. Within 90 days after the date we open your Account, you may elect to reject the Arbitration Provision by providing a written notice of your intention to do so to the address: Legal Division (745), Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, P.O. Unless you submit your rejection or to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Arbitration Provision will have a substantial impact on how any legal claims we have against each other are resolved if either you or we elect arbitration. This Arbitration Provision will not apply to, or be enforceable against, covered borrowers under the protection of the Military Lending Act.
