EMPLOYEE SUPPORT FACILITIES. A. The District will maintain facilities and equipment for the use of employees in each building: 1. Space to store instructional materials and supplies. 2. A work area to aid in the preparation of instructional materials. 3. A desk, chair and a filing cabinet. Any new filing cabinet will include a lock. 4. All employees shall be provided with keys, which will allow access to their classroom, their faculty lounge, work areas, and assigned building(s).

EMPLOYEE SUPPORT FACILITIES. The District shall seek to maintain, to the best of its financial and physical capabilities, those facilities, equipment, and materials for the use of its employees that are necessary to assure an appropriate learning environment for the District's pupils. All certificated employees shall annually be given the opportunity to express in writing their needs for supplies, equipment and room repairs for the following school year. Such requests shall be given to the superintendent/principal, who will review the requests for approval or denial, dependent upon educational objectives and/or budgetary allowances.
EMPLOYEE SUPPORT FACILITIES. A. It is understood by both parties that school cleanliness is everyone’s responsibility. The employer shall provide a safe and clean working environment for all employees. Employees will not be expected to perform custodial duties as a part of their job responsibilities. All maintenance and repairs shall be addressed in a timely manner. B. Facilities shall have adequate ventilation, cooling, temperature control, water, heat, light, and insulation from noise consistent with applicable federal and state statutes. C. Each school will have the following facilities and equipment for use of employees in that school: 1. Space to store instructional materials, supplies, and personal items (a desk or cabinet may satisfy this section), some of which will be securable; 2. Employee Support Facilities (Work Station) 18 All employees will have access to those school facilities necessary to pursue and accomplish district- 19 approved educational objectives relative to their job assignment. Employees will be supplied with a 20 work space that is furnished with the standard and customary supplies, materials, and equipment for 21 that building. See Appendix I. 22 23 If an employee feels like his/her work space, supplies or equipment are inadequate, then the employee 24 should notify his/her supervisor in writing. If the supervisor is unable to resolve the issue to the 25 satisfaction of the employee, he or she will notify the employee in writing as to why the request was 26 denied, with copies to the Association President and the appropriate district administrator. The district 27 administrator will contact the supervisor to discuss the issue, options and a decision for resolution. The 28 employee and the Association President will be made aware of that decision and will have the 29 opportunity to continue to pursue the matter via the pre-grievance problem solving steps or the formal 30 grievance procedure if they so choose. 31

  • Employee Facilities Employee Facilities. Restrooms and attendant facilities shall be provided as required in the orders and regulations of the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries. A good faith effort will be made by the Employer to provide facilities for employees’ personal belongings.

  • Verizon OSS Facilities Any gateways, interfaces, databases, facilities, equipment, software, or systems, used by Verizon to provide Verizon OSS Services to ICG.

  • Developer Attachment Facilities Developer shall design, procure, construct, install, own and/or control the Developer Attachment Facilities described in Appendix A hereto, at its sole expense.

  • Verizon Operations Support Systems Verizon systems for pre- ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance and repair, and billing.

  • Existing Facilities Each of the Existing Facilities shall be repaid in full and terminated and all collateral security therefor shall be released, and the Administrative Agent shall have received pay-off letters in form and substance satisfactory to it evidencing such repayment, termination and release.

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If CSTC chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, CSTC’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by CSTC to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 CSTC shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from CSTC’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office CSTC utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow CSTC’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.

  • Operations Support Systems (OSS) 47.1. Embarq will offer unbundled access to Embarq’s operations support systems to the extent technically feasible in a non-discriminatory manner at Parity. OSS consists of pre- ordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance and repair, and billing functions supported by Embarq’s databases and information. The OSS element includes access to all loop qualification information contained in Embarq’s databases or other records, including information on whether a particular loop is capable of providing advanced services.

  • TEACHER FACILITIES A. The Board shall provide for each actively employed teacher: 1. A serviceable desk, chair and computer. 2. Access to a dining table. 3. A lockable desk, file cabinet or closet in which teachers may store instructional materials and supplies. 4. An appropriately furnished room to be reserved for the exclusive use of staff as a faculty lounge. Said room will be regularly cleaned by the custodial staff and will be in addition to the other teacher work areas. However, staff will be expected to keep the lounge reasonably neat and orderly. 5. Access to well-lighted and clean employee restrooms, separate from the students' restrooms with appropriate supplies. 6. Storage facilities for special instructional personnel. 7. In accordance with applicable food and nutrition guidelines, the principal, at request by a majority of the teachers, may arrange for the installation of a maximum of two faculty vending machines in each faculty lounge. All proceeds from the machines shall be used in such manner as the majority of teachers and educational support employees of that building shall determine. Cost, if any, of installation shall be borne by the teachers and educational support employees of each school. B. Where feasible in existing buildings, and in all new buildings, the following will be provided. 1. A teacher work area containing adequate equipment and supplies to aid in the preparation of instructional materials. 2. A communication system so that teachers can communicate with the main office from their classrooms, provided that such system is used only for emergency announcements during class periods. 3. Space for teachers' dining in a faculty lounge or other room unavailable to students with tables and chairs sufficient to accommodate teachers during their lunch period. C. Teachers shall report in writing to the principal any condition considered unsafe or hazardous. The principal shall take action(s) as appropriate and shall notify the teacher in writing of such action(s) taken within five (5) days. D. A telephone will be made available for teachers to use for school business. Teachers and principals shall arrange this use to provide reasonable privacy during the call. During the workday, teachers may make personal phone calls only if the calls cannot be made at any other time. E. Teachers who need access to a telephone for school business after the workday ends shall arrange this access with the principal. Teachers with supervisory responsibilities will also have access to the building. F. An adequate portion of the parking lots at each school will be reserved for teacher parking. Effective July 1, 2012, newly hired employees assigned to the South East Street Central Office location will be required to pay a fee of $45 per month if they elect to park in designated BOE parking areas. Twelve-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payments over 24 equal paychecks. Eleven-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payments over 22 equal paychecks. Ten-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payment over 20 equal paychecks. G. The Board will take steps to ensure teachers have access to their classrooms when custodians unlock the buildings in the morning and up to one (1) hour before custodial shifts end on weekdays during the school year, provided rooms are not being utilized by outside user groups. Teachers shall have access to their rooms during summer operating hours during summer months unless there is scheduled maintenance, outside user groups or FCPS programs occurring.
