Employer-Required Training. When the Employer requires a post-probationary employee to take training (i.e., the training is compulsory), the Employer shall grant a leave of absence with pay and shall bear the full cost of the training, except where the employee is appointed to a new position contingent on taking specific training. Whenever possible, Employer-required training will be taken through Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Employer-Required Training. If the Employer requires an employee to attend a course, class, or training (including any life support training course or skills fair), the Employer shall provide such training at no cost to the employee, nor shall the cost count against the employee’s tuition reimbursement.
Employer-Required Training. The Employer shall pay the expenses for any and all required training(s). Time spent at required training(s) shall be considered regular work time, and the Reimbursement policy shall apply for any associated expenses.
Employer-Required Training. The Employer may require employee participation in training opportunities. When the Employer requires such participation, it shall pay the employee, at his regular rate of pay, for all time spent actually attending the training session and for all reasonable time spent traveling to and from the training session. In such cases, the Employer shall also provide necessary transportation or reimburse the employee for mileage expenses when using his own vehicle. No more than eight (8) hours of time spent for training and travel time shall be paid for or reimbursed in a given day. For any training that is less than the full 8 hour day, the employee is expected to return to work for the balance of his/her shift unless prior approval by the employee’s supervisor/manager is granted. If an employee attends Employer required training and is assigned to a night shift, the employee shall be given the night off prior to attending the training program.
Employer-Required Training. When the Employer introduces new requirements for the job and requires the Employee to take additional training, in order to carry out their required duties, the Employer will either provide for such training or pay for such training.
Employer-Required Training. Whenever employees are required by the Employer to participate in training programs, they shall be given time off from work with pay to attend such programs, including travel time needed. If an employee is required to attend training programs after normal work hours, he/she shall be compensated for such additional time in compensatory time or cash. Any costs incurred in such training shall be paid for by the Employer. Every reasonable effort shall be made to provide notification of training opportunities available to bargaining unit employees through available channels of communication.
Employer-Required Training. AP shall require or encourage ongoing training opportunities that enhance or strengthen staff skills in the area of racial justice and pay the expenses for such trainings, consistent with the availability of funding for professional development purposes. Time spent at supervisor-approved trainings shall be considered regular work time, and the Expense policy shall apply for any associated travel expenses.

Employer-Required Training. All training required of an employee by the Employer shall be paid for by the Employer. All required training shall be counted as time worked, including driving time to and from a training site other than in-county Sheriff’s Office training sites. On multiple-day training sessions where the employee has been authorized to remain at or near the training site, the days in training which do not require travel to the site from the County or to the County from the site shall be counted as regular work days, not to exceed the employee’s regular hours of work.

Employer-Required Training. The Employer shall pay any regularly scheduled full-time nurse's out-of-pocket expenses, the 42/12 straight-time rate of pay for all hours of attendance, for all registration fees, enrollment fees, or material fees for any Employer required training, including the basic license recertification for Emergency Medical Technician and Registered Nurse. The Employer shall provide reasonable and adequate access to such training and/or testing. The Employer further agrees to reimburse regularly scheduled nurses for basic license recertification test fees if such test fees are required by government authority and the Employer cannot provide the state certified test.
