General Safety. 1. Be aware of your surroundings. Avoid poorly maintained or poorly lighted locations. If you see anyone or anything suspicious, leave the area immediately. 2. Be aware of your surroundings when using an ATM or night deposit facility after dark. 3. Be prepared. Have your card ready before approaching the ATM. 4. Shield the ATM keyboard with your body so that others cannot observe you entering your PIN. 5. Cancel the transaction and put away your card if a suspicious situation develops. 6. Put away your money and receipt immediately after the transaction is complete. Count the cash later. 7. If you are followed after leaving an ATM, go to a heavily populated, well-lighted area and call the police.
General Safety. All spillages on the floor must be cleaned up immediately to reduce the risk of slipping or falling. No step ladder is provided; it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure their safety if working at a height.

Supervisors and employees shall take any steps provided by laws or regulations to protect themselves and others from unsafe conditions.
General Safety. The Resident and all occupants and guests must exercise due care for Resident’s own and others’ safety and security, in the use of smoke detec- tors, door locks, window latches, and other security devices and in the event of severe weather. The door from the apartment/room to the hall- way and all first floor and basement windows are to be locked securely when the Residents are absent from the premises. Xxx should not leave household waste, personal belongings (including old furniture, mattresses, etc) or rubbish outside of the Property. If we have to remove any items or rubbish you have left in a shared or public area, you will have to pay our reasonable costs for doing this. We may also take legal action against you for breach of tenancy which could result in your losing the Property. 0.0.0. Xxx must not alter, remove, damage or replace any safety device (such as window locks, smoke alarms, intercoms, security grilles and fire or security doors) either in the Property or in any Common Areas. 0.0.0. Xxx must take all reasonable steps to keep the Property free from rats, mice and other pests and report any infestation as soon as possible to the Council. The Council will charge for pest control works in accordance with the Schedule of Charges and Repairs and the Council’s Recharge policy.

You will also be given verbal instructions when you collect the van. It is imperative that you and your party are familiar with these instructions. When you arrive at each Campsite, ensure you familiarise yourself, and all members of your party, with the health and safety arrangements applicable on the site. It is imperative you are aware of the following: • Fire – to include assembly point, systems for raising the alarm, etc. • First Aid – location of the site first aid box, location details of the site first aiders, etc • Accident Reporting for both major and minor injuries. You must carry only as many passengers as there are seat belts in the van and ensure all passengers are strapped into the seatbelts when the vehicle is moving. You are legally responsible for obtaining and using an appropriate child or baby seat based on the information you obtained prior to arrival. Please remember to strap the roof down before driving anywhere. Please only raise the elevating roof when the vehicle is stationary – the ignition is switched off, the hand brake is on and you are parked on level ground. ALWAYS ensure the elevating roof is down and strapped into place before moving off and that any material is tucked within the elevating roof when in the closed position. Ensure you read the instructions for the use of the appliances and facilities in the campervan before using any of them. You will have been told how to use these when you collected the van. The instructions are to be found in this handbook. Please exercise caution at all times when using the appliances and facilities. General Safety. The Company will continue to make reasonable provisions for the health and safety (including equipment and training) of all employees during their hours of employment. The Company will not require employees to perform any hazardous duties not reasonably compatible with their vocation. 10.1.1 The Company will continue to make reasonable provisions for assistance in the operation of ENG/EFP cameras, Microwave Truck and related equipment. Where the employee demonstrates the reasonable need for assistance, the Company will comply with such requests. The safety of the operator, other employees and the public shall take precedence at all times.
