HOURS - WAGE PAYMENTS WORKING CONDITIONS. Article III, Section 1 - Hours of Work - The workweek will start on Monday and conclude on Sunday. Eight (8) hours per day shall constitute a standard workday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Employees shall receive a one-half (½) hour lunch break no later than five hours after starting time. Forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, shall constitute a regular week's work. Nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any employee eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week.
HOURS - WAGE PAYMENTS WORKING CONDITIONS. HOURS:
(a) Eight consecutive hours shall constitute a work day between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday inclusive, with one‑half (1/2) hour, 12:00 noon to 12:30 P.M. set aside for a lunch period as agreed upon by the Business Manager and the Employer.
(b) Ten consecutive hours shall constitute a work day between the hours of 6:30 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday inclusive, with one-half (1/2) hour for lunch between the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. Upon the consent of the Union, Tuesday through Friday may be used as a standard work week; work week may be changed upon a 3 day notification. Due to inclement weather, Friday may be utilized as a make up day, this at the employee’s discretion.
HOURS - WAGE PAYMENTS WORKING CONDITIONS. Section 3.01 Eight consecutive hours shall constitute a work day between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., from Monday to Friday inclusive, with one-half (1/2) hour, 12:00 noon to 12:30 P.M. set aside for a lunch period, unless changed by consent of Union and Employer.
(a) The employer, with 24 hours prior notice to the Union, may institute a work week consisting of four (4) consecutive ten (10) hour days between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with one-half hour allowed for a lunch period. Friday may be used as a make-up day, and if utilized, a minimum of eight (8) hours work must be scheduled. After ten (10) hours in a workday, or forty (40) hours in a workweek, overtime shall be paid at a rate of one and one-half times (1-1/2) the regular rate of pay.
(b) When employees are required to work past 7:00 PM on emergency work, they shall be furnished an adequate meal or compensated for that meal at the rate of $15.00. Subsequent meals at intervals of five (5) hours shall be compensated for at the same rate until the employee is released from duty.
(a) All work performed in excess of the eight (8) hour period, or forty (40) hours per week shall be paid for at one and one-half (1&1/2) times the employee's regular straight time rate.
(b) All work performed on Saturday and Sunday will be paid at one and one-half (1&1/2) times the employee's regular straight time rate of pay.
HOURS - WAGE PAYMENTS WORKING CONDITIONS. Section 3.01. Any eight hours shall constitute a workday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with ½ hour for lunch after the first four (4) hours. Up to two (2) men can be scheduled to work staggered hours and can start prior to or after the other employees.
Section 3.02. All work performed outside of the regularly scheduled working hours up to four (4) hours per day before or after the normal workday, and eight (8) hours on Saturdays, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half the regular rate of pay. In addition, the employer shall contribute an amount equal to one-half the Employer contribution to the Health and Welfare and Pension Fund for time and one-half hours worked and an amount equal to the Employer contribution to the Health and Welfare and Pension Fund for all double time hours worked. Sundays, and the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or days celebrated as such shall be paid double time.
Section 3.03. When workmen are directed to report to the job, such workmen shall be on the job ready to commence work at the regular starting time. All tools and materials shall be stored or put away before quitting time.
Section 3.04. No work shall be performed on Labor Day except in case of emergency, and then only after approval of the Representative of the Union.
Section 3.05. The pay week shall end at 12:00 Midnight Sunday of each week. Wages shall be paid weekly in currency or check before the regular quitting time on Wednesday of the following week. In the event a legal Holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of any week, wages for the previous week’s work may be paid on Thursday. If payroll checks are mailed, they must be postmarked by the U. S. Post Office no later than Tuesday of any given week providing no holiday falls on Monday or Tuesday. If mailed payroll checks are not received by Thursday p.m., arrangements can be made to obtain a replacement check on Friday of the same week. If an employee quits, he may make arrangements to pick up his check at the employer’s office no later than Thursday of the week following the quit. If the employee has not made arrangements by the aforementioned date, the employer shall mail check no later than Friday of the week following the quit.

Contractors operating under this provision shall be governed by the terms of this section with respect to the hours of work and overtime. The regular workweek shall be from Monday through Thursday. Pay for each of these four days shall be ten (10) hours at the straight-time hourly rate. All work in excess of the ten (10) hours shall be paid at two (2) times the straight-time hourly rate.
Article III, Section 2 - Where so elected by the contractor, multiple shifts of eight (8) hours for at least five (5) days’ duration may be worked. When two (2) or three (3) shifts are worked:

Eight (8) hours work between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. with a thirty (30) minute lunch period shall constitute a normal work day. Forty (40) hours within five (5) days, Monday through Friday inclusive, shall constitute the work week. However, this work day may vary by no more than two (2) hours by mutual agreement between Employer and employees on the job site.
Section 3.01 (C). When workmen are required to work overtime beyond ten (10) hours, they shall be allowed one-half (1/2) hour off for lunch. Likewise, if the job should require four (4) hours or longer after the first lunch period, they will be allowed an additional one-half (1/2) hour off for lunch.

HOURS - WAGE PAYMENTS WORKING CONDITIONS. Section 1. The regular hours of the Line, Meter Department, Utility Locator, and Stock Room each day shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Customer Service Representatives will have regular hours each day of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Section 2. Stand-By Pay Line Department: An employee who is assigned stand-by duty on a weekly basis shall receive for his or her stand-by a lump sum payment equal to fourteen (14) hours of their base weekly wage. There shall be no more than two employees assigned to stand- by duty at any time. If a paid holiday occurs during his or her week of stand-by, he or she shall be paid a lump sum payment equal to sixteen (16) hours of their base weekly wage for that stand- by week. Employees who received stand-by pay shall be paid one hour at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular straight time rate for each “fuse call” or similar short call-out. Employees who do not receive stand-by pay shall be paid one and one-half hours (1-1/2) at one and one-half (1- 1/2) times their regular straight time rate for each “fuse call” or similar short call-out. A short call-out includes fuse calls, telephone loops down, placing street barriers, replacing missing manhole covers, the replacing of traffic signal lamps, or any similar calls which require less than one (1) hour to complete. Other calls-out will be paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular straight time rate with a three (3) hour minimum. The three (3) hour minimum shall not apply to callouts that commence within one (1) hour of the start of the employees regularly scheduled work-day. A regularly scheduled work-day does not include any work which is planned and is in excess of the regular 40-hour work week.
