Internship Program. Pursuant to Article 9.09 of the central Collective Agreement the parties have agreed to establish internship programs for the units at Hôtel-Xxxx Xxxxx Healthcare to provide currently employed nurses with career development opportunities. The implementation and guidelines for the program will be as follows:
1. The Hospital will provide the Union with advance notice of all internship opportunities prior to them being posted. The notice to the Union will indicate the number of opportunities being made available, the commencement date of the program and the time frame established for the program;
2. The Hospital will post all internship opportunities;
3. The posting(s) will clearly indicate the temporary nature of the internship opportunity and the length of commitment for the internship program;
4. In making a selection the Hospital will consider the applicant’s current skill level, skill development needs and commitment to learning. The selection process will not be arbitrary or unreasonable and where conflicts arise seniority will govern. The successful applicant(s) will be notified and advised in writing that she/he will receive the necessary training for the internship position during a defined time frame The current position of the nurse will be filled on a temporary basis during the period of the internship program;
5. The Hospital will notify the Union of the names of all successful applicants to the internship program;
6. The Hospital will assume costs for the successful interns related to:
a) Payment for time spent in any course(s) required internally or externally;
b) Payment for time spent in clinical practicums in the Hospital;
7. Where the intern successfully completes the internship program and secures a permanent position in the unit of the internship position, the intern will commit to continued employment with the Hospital in the unit of the internship program for a period of two years (24 months). Internship Program. UVU shall organize and coordinate a student internship program (the “Internship Program”) for the purpose of identifying and providing UVU students who are potentially qualified for internship positions with Provider.
Internship Program. The purpose of the internship is to give the intern the opportunity to put theory into practice. The host firm must give the intern, with the agreement of the academic institution or training organization, tasks and responsibilities directly related to the qualifications and skills that the degree or training program prepare for. The content of the framework below must be defined jointly by the intern’s supervisors in the academic institution or the training organization and the host firm.
Internship Program. An internship program for athletics and extracurricular activities can provide training and an introductory experience when it is known that a head coach or lead activity sponsor is leaving the position. Pay will be one-half (1/2) of the current assistant’s pay. Only District 211 employees will be eligible.

Internship Program. On an ongoing basis, the Developer shall make at least one paid (unless taken for school credit) internship available per school session to a student who is a Santa Xxxxxx resident and attends a high school in Santa Xxxxxx or Santa Xxxxxx College. Developer will inform the schools that such internship shall be targeted towards students who are Santa Xxxxxx residents and whose household income is no greater than 80% of the Median Income, as defined in Exhibit “J- 2” of the this Agreement. Subject to the requirements specified in this subsection (h), Developer retains full discretion to select the student for the internship.
Internship Program. The Consultant is encouraged to make a commitment to utilize certain HCC student(s) in an internship capacity for the provision of Services under the Contract. The Consultant shall be expected to pay the student(s) at least the minimum wage required by law. HCC shall provide the Consultant with the name(s) of student(s) eligible to participate in the internship program. Internship Program. On an ongoing basis, the Hotel shall make at least one paid (unless taken for school credit) internship available per school session to a student who is a Santa Xxxxxx resident between ages 18-24 and/or attends a high school in Santa Xxxxxx or Santa Xxxxxx College. The Hotel will inform the schools and the Hospitality Training Academy that such internship shall be targeted towards “opportunity youths” within Santa Xxxxxx, as may be defined from time to time by the City Manager for purposes of implementing this internship program. Subject to the requirements specified in this subsection (k), the Hotel retains full discretion to select the student for the internship.
Internship Program. Initiatives An internship program/initiative will provide each intern with structured work experiences and learning opportunities. Interns shall not be used to fill bargaining unit vacancies or new bargaining unit positions. Internship positions shall not be subject to the job posting provisions. Once the internship placement ends, then employment is terminated. The Employer agrees to advise the Union in writing before the commencement or termination of any Internship Program/Initiatives.
Internship Program. The internship’s primary goal is the practical use of the theoretical knowledge of the intern. The receiving institution should entrust the intern, in agreement with the sending institution, tasks and responsibilities in direct link to the qualifications and competences leading to the prepared diploma or training. The below content should be defined by both, the sending institution and the receiving institution. Learning progression and activity situation the intern will be placed in:
