JOB DESCRIPTION AND CLASSIFICATION. For each classification, job descriptions will be developed and ratified with this Agreement. Said descriptions shall be developed by the bargaining process. JOB DESCRIPTION AND CLASSIFICATION. 1. A complete, hardcopy job description and a copy of the bargaining unit member’s signed contract with the Board shall be given to each bargaining unit member upon hire and shall include all duties that pertain to his job classification and duties reasonably related to said job. A complete copy of classified job descriptions shall be maintained on the district website, which is accessible to all bargaining unit members in all buildings. No bargaining unit members shall be required to perform a duty outside the bargaining unit member’s job description, unless on temporary assignment. 2. The Board shall give the Association and affected bargaining unit members changes in job descriptions at least thirty (30) days before job duties of a classification are changed. The Board shall furnish the Association President and affected bargaining unit members with the rationale for said changes. The Association may request bargaining about changes in rates of pay based on the changes.

Job descriptions and classifications shall be as set forth in a letter of agreement between the parties and shall not be altered for the duration of this Agreement unless mutually agreed to in writing by the Board and Association. 2. Requests for job description and class grade revisions shall be submitted to the Professional Council, which shall be held in accordance with Article II C. Changes in class grades recommended by Professional Council shall be subject to ratification by the District and Association. 3. In the case of newly created positions, the Board and Association shall enter into negotiations regarding the classification of said positions. Said negotiations shall not cause any other portion of this Agreement to be reopened or re-negotiated, except as otherwise agreed to in writing by the parties. A newly created position shall not be filled until such time as the parties have signed a letter of agreement setting forth the job description and classification of the new position.

Any evaluations of bargaining unit members' work performance shall be based upon said bargaining unit member's job description. C. The basic compensation of each bargaining unit member shall be as set forth in Schedule A. There shall be no deviation from said compensation rates during the life of this agreement D. The following conditions shall apply to all overtime work: 1. Time and one-half will be paid for all hours worked over forty [40] hours in one [1] week. 2. Compensatory time off may be given instead of overtime pay if mutually agreeable to the employer and the bargaining unit member. Such compensatory time shall be at time and one-half. 3. Bus drivers who are delayed over the usual time to make their run due to breakdown, accident or other unforeseeable circumstances, shall be paid at their hourly rate for each whole hour of extra time spent. 4. No overtime shall be given without prior approval of the Superintendent or his designee. E. The District will faciliate Para-Professionals becoming highly qualified by reimbursing the cost of one qualifing Test.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND CLASSIFICATION. The Employer shall develop a job description for each classification with input from employees within each classification and provide a copy to the Association. If an employee has a problem with his/her job description, he/she shall discuss that problem with his/her immediate supervisor. If the employee is not satisfied he/she shall request a meeting with the Supervisor and the Building Principal. If the employee is still not satisfied, he/she shall reduce the problem to writing, sign it and return it to the Supervisor. The Supervisor shall forward the written problem to the Building Principal who shall forward it to the Assistant Superintendent, who shall investigate and act on the problem. The descriptions will include as a minimum:‌ (a) Job Title and Description.
