Labor Management Team. A Labor/Management Team (LMT), consisting of the BVCEA President, UniServe Director, as well as any other designated BVCEA representatives, the BVSD Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, and another BVSD administrator designated by the Superintendent, will meet regularly to discuss and resolve issues that exceed the scope of regular BVCEA/HR meetings. The LMT will also consider proposals from various collaborative BVCEA/BVSD groups about changes to policy or practice and will recommend to BVCEA and BVSD appropriate actions.
Labor Management Team. A. The District and the Association agree that the most well-designed systems sometimes fail to appropriately engage in meaningful discussion regarding issues and concerns. The Labor/Management Team (LMT) is an intentional effort of the District and the Association to have healthy and respectful processes to resolve issues and concerns. The team is the outward and visible sign of our philosophical ideal, creating a positive community and environment for learning.
B. The LMT addresses issues and concerns and provides a place for:
1. A forum for both parties to voice issues or concerns.
2. Support for the District mission and philosophy of maintaining healthy relationships among personnel.
3. A "safe haven" where frustration with the system can be discussed.
C. The LMT will schedule monthly meetings. Additional meetings will be scheduled when an issue or concern requires a more immediate response. The Association President or Designee and the District Superintendent or Designee will schedule these meetings.
D. The team will consist of:
1. The Association President or Designee
2. An Association Officer
3. An Association member selected by the remaining members of the Association team
4. The District Superintendent of Schools or Designee
5. Two District administrators selected by the District Superintendent.
E. Either the Association or the District may bring in other employees or advisors serving in a position related to the matter for informational purposes.
F. The Association and the District are responsible for requesting an additional meeting of the LMT, if either party determines it is necessary due to a time-related issue.
Labor Management Team. The principal and other administrators of each school shall meet monthly with the Labor Management Team to discuss school operations and questions relating to the implementation of this Agreement. These meetings shall be held during non-instructional time but, if held during the regular school day, shall not result in loss of pay to the employees. Any meeting of the Labor Management Team shall not take place during a teaching period of an employee of the committee except in the event of an emergency. The Labor Management Team shall consist of the elected chief Association representative and one other Xxxx 0 member and one (1) member from Unit 1 or any other Association bargaining unit, selected or appointed in a manner to be determined by the Association by laws. Proposed changes in existing building policies and procedures, staffing ratios, and new policies and procedures for each school shall be appropriate subjects for discussion at such meetings. The Labor Management Team shall report monthly and make recommendations to the School Leadership Team. Any changes in such policies and procedures shall be consistent with the terms of this Agreement. Labor Management Team members receive no additional pay.
Labor Management Team. A joint committee shall be established for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern that are not subject to bargaining. The committee shall include three (3) Employee Representatives and three (3) Management Representatives along with an Employee and Labor Relations Representative. The parties may mutually agree to additional representatives. If there are agenda items to be discussed, a meeting may be held once in the fall semester and/or once in the spring semester at mutually agreeable dates and times. The FNA shall submit the items to be discussed to the Director of University Health Services. A written agenda of the meeting shall be prepared by the Director or his/her designee and distributed to the committee members at least five (5) days prior to the meeting. Minutes of the meeting shall be prepared by the Employee Representatives and distributed to the committee members within seven (7) days of the meeting. The meeting shall be limited to two (2) hours. The time in attendance in such meetings shall be counted as time worked.
Labor Management Team. A joint team consisting of Agency representatives and bargaining unit representatives shall meet at least quarterly with the intent of proactively resolving contract and other workplace issues. These meetings shall be utilized to clarify contract interpretations, address workplace issues as they arise, and reach new supplemental agreements when necessary. Time spent by bargaining unit members of the team attending such meetings shall be compensated at the nurse’s regular rate of pay. The Agency will seek in good faith to allow nurses the necessary time off for participation in team meetings, subject to the operational requirements of the Agency. Nurses shall not suffer a loss of scheduled hours due to their participation in team meetings, provided they are willing to work the make-up hours (at the regular rate of pay) necessary to reach their scheduled status.

Labor Management Team. A joint team consisting of Agency 8 representatives and bargaining unit representatives shall meet at least six times per 9 year, not to exceed ninety-minutes with the intent of proactively resolving contract, 10 staffing and other workplace issues. For the duration of this Agreement, mutually 11 agreed periods of time in committee meetings will be dedicated to a discussion of 12 subjects related to the impact of health care reform on the delivery of patient care at the 13 Agency, including enhancement of the patient experience and reductions in cost. 14 These meetings shall be utilized to clarify contract interpretations, address workplace 15 issues as they arise, and reach new supplemental agreements when necessary. Time 16 spent by bargaining unit members of the team attending such meetings shall be 17 compensated at the nurse’s regular rate of pay. The Agency will seek in good faith to 18 allow nurses the necessary time off for participation in team meetings, subject to the 19 operational requirements of the Agency. Nurses shall not suffer a loss of scheduled 20 hours due to their participation in team meetings, provided they are willing to work the 21 make-up hours (at the regular rate of pay) necessary to reach their scheduled status.

Labor Management Team. A. The Association and District agree to form a “Labor & Management Team” for the duration of this collective bargaining agreement. The purpose of the team is to xxxxxx the collaborative work environment by addressing labor relations issues and interests.
1. The Labor & Management Team will operate and agree by consensus on issues they address.
2. The Labor & Management Team will use the interest-based decision-making process.
3. The Labor & Management Team will consist of a maximum of three people appointed by the District and three members appointed by the Association.
4. The Labor & Management Team will meet quarterly or as needed as issues arise. The Labor & Management Team will meet in September, January, March and May.
5. If no there are no issues to be addressed with the Labor & Management Team, by mutual agreement a meeting may be canceled.
6. The Labor & Management Team is advisory to the District and the Association.
7. The Labor & Management Team will have an official minute taker (such as a confidential employee).
Labor Management Team. Section 8.1. A labor/management team shall be established with up to five (5) Union and up to five (5) Management members. Others may be invited to attend to address specific issues or provide specific input as needed. This Committee shall be a standing committee and its members shall stay consistent (to the extent possible) for each school year. This team may meet regularly or shall be available to meet at the request of either party. Drivers shall be paid their regular rate of pay up to a maximum total of sixty (60) hours per year for drivers on the committee. The minimum of two (2) hours per assignment shall not apply to these meetings, but an attempt will be made to schedule such meeting contiguous to other assignments.
