Mental Health Days. Mental Health Days are three (3) days per year, with pay, to be used by employees with prior notification to the Director. Mental Health day(s) are day(s) that an employee takes off from work in order to relieve stress or renew vitality. This leave shall accrue at a rate of two (2) hours per full calendar month worked, and shall be prorated for part-time employees. Such accrual shall occur in one calendar year, to be utilized in the subsequent calendar year. For additional time required, employees may choose to access their banked overtime or their current years’ vacation by mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee. A further two (2) days without pay may be taken by the employee. Employees utilizing Mental Health Days will provide the Employer with advance notice, if possible.
Mental Health Days. Employees shall be entitled to three (3) annual mental health days with pay.
Mental Health Days. 16.01 The Executive Director or his designate may grant an employee leave of absence with pay for not more than three (3) days in a year, to be deducted from accumulated sick leave credits.
Mental Health Days. Full time employees will be entitled to four (4) personal Leave days, per annum which will be deducted from the employee’s sick bank and must be prearranged with the Director or her designate.
Mental Health Days a. All teacher assistants will receive one mental health day per year. For 193 and 214 day employees, the day will be granted in September, to be used during the regular school year. The day will be granted in July for the 196 day employees, to be used by June 30. No carryover of unused mental health days.
Mental Health Days. An employee may take up to six (6) days annually of his/her accrued sick time as mental health leave under the following conditions:
1. The employee has completed probation, and
2. This leave may not be used to extend vacations or other leaves and holidays. Mental Health Days shall not require a doctor’s certification. All leaves covered in this article will run concurrent with all Federal and State leave laws. Employees are eligible for Health/Disability/Family Care Leave/Personal Leave if they:
1. Have worked for the company for at least 12 months in the last 7 years;
2. Have worked at least 1,250 hours for the company during the 12 calendar months immediately preceding the request for leave; and
3. Are employed at a work site that has 50 or more employees within a 75-mile radius. Married couples/Certified domestic partners in the State of California: In cases where a married couple is employed by Community Solutions, the two spouses together may take a combined total of four (4) months of Family Care Leave/Personal Leave during any 12-month period, or to care for the same individual. Employees must have exhausted all but forty (40) hours of sick and/or vacation before requesting unpaid time off.
Mental Health Days. 23.01 Staff members are entitled to four (4) mental health leave days per calendar year. Staff members may not carry over unused mental health days beyond the calendar year. There shall be no remuneration for unused mental health days.
Mental Health Days. Employees shall be entitled to five (5) working days per academic year as mental health days with pay.
Mental Health Days. Mental Health Days are not Vacation Days, Sick Leave, or any other leave and cannot be attached to vacations or other leaves or taken consecutively. Such days may not be carried over from one fiscal year to the next. The employee will provide as much notice as possible to her supervisor of her intention to take a mental health day. Full-time employees and part-time employees become eligible for three (3) days of mental health time off at the commencement of each fiscal year, one of which can be taken in half day (1/2) increments. After probation period, new full-time and part-time employees will be eligible for three (3) days if hired date is April 1st to July 30th, and two (2) days if hired between August 1st and November 30th.
Mental Health Days. Transition Projects recognizes the importance of employee self-care and mental well-being. Mental Health Days are days that are allowed to be taken out of the sick time balance without a proof of a medical condition. All employees may use one (1) paid mental health day every quarter. Mental Health days may be scheduled in advance with the approval of management or they may be used by the employee with at least 2 hours of advanced notice. They are used the same as a sick call or with prior approval of the supervisor or manager. A mental health day can be used in conjunction with vacation time.
