On-Call Allowances. 10.2.1 Employees bound by this Enterprise Agreement, who are rostered to be on-call of a night time, will be paid an allowance for each night as follows:
(a) $12.90 from the first pay period to commence on or after 1 October 2006;
(b) $13.40 from the first pay period to commence on or after 1 October 2007;
(c) $13.90 from the first pay period to commence on or after 1 October 2008.
10.2.2 Employees bound by this Enterprise Agreement, who are rostered to be on-call during a full Saturday, Sunday or public holiday or any day that the employee would normally be rostered off duty, will be paid an allowance per day as follows:
(a) $25.80 from the first pay period to commence on or after 1 October 2006;
(b) $26.70 from the first pay period to commence on or after 1 October 2007; and
(c) $27.60 from the first pay period to commence on or after 1 October 2008.

11.2.3 If an employee is rostered on-call:
a) For a continuous period that spans and includes both ‘a night time’ during Monday – Friday and an immediately following (full day) public holiday; or
b) Of ‘a night time’ during Monday – Friday that is a ‘part-day public holiday’,
2.1) For example:
(a) If a public holiday falls on a Wednesday and the employee is rostered on-call for both the Tuesday night time and the full public holiday, the employee will be entitled to the public holiday on-call rate for the Tuesday ‘night time’ period.
(b) If a ‘part-day public holiday’ (refer: amended Holidays Act 1910) falls on a Monday and an employee is rostered on-call for that night time, the employee will be entitled to the public holiday rate.
On-Call Allowances. 7.1.1.1 An employee bound by this Agreement, who is rostered to be on call of a night time, will be paid an allowance in accordance with Section 1 of Schedule 4 of this Agreement.
7.1.1.2 An employee bound by this Agreement who is rostered to be On-Call during a full Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday or any day that the employee would normally be rostered off duty, will be paid in accordance with Section 2 of Schedule 4 of this Agreement.
On-Call Allowances. An employee3 receiving a formal instruction4 from their Line Manager, to be available for On Call duty outside of the employee’s ordinary span of hours is to receive an On Call Allowance set as per Appendix C - Allowances. Employees On Call and in receipt of the On Call Allowances are required to be available to attend a Call Out for the entire duration that they are on call within agreed service standards as set by Council for the function required and must remain in a ‘state of readiness’ (refer definitions of this agreement). An employee will not be required to be On Call whilst on leave however they may nominate to be available for the On Call Roster. Employees required to attend to call outs will receive payment as per the relevant Clauses below.
On-Call Allowances. Employees On Call and in receipt of the On Call Allowances are required to be available to attend a Call Back for the entire duration that they are on call within agreed service standards as set by the engaging Council for the function required. An employee will not be required to be On Call whilst on leave however they may nominate to be available for the On Call Roster. Employees required to attend to calls will receive payment as per the relevant Overtime Clauses above.
On-Call Allowances. (a) Employees bound by this Agreement, who are rostered to be on-call of a night time, will be paid an allowance for each night as follows: • $10.80 on and from the date of approval of this Agreement; • $11.20 on and from 1 October 2002; and • $11.70 on and from 1 October 2003.
(b) Employees bound by this Agreement who are rostered to be on-call during a full Saturday, Sunday or public holiday or any day that the employee would normally be rostered off duty, will be paid an allowance per day as follows: • $21.50 on and from date of approval of this Agreement; • $22.40 on and from 1 October 2002; and • $23.30 on and from 1 October 2003.

11.2.3 If an employee is rostered on-call:
a) For a continuous period that spans and includes both ‘a night time’ during Monday – Friday and an immediately following (full day) public holiday; or
b) Of ‘a night time’ during Monday – Friday that is a ‘part-day public holiday’,
On-Call Allowances. 32.1. The employer agrees that only employees with on call duties will be utilised for employees that have on call services as a component of the inherent requirements of the role.
32.2. An employee that is required to be recalled to duty will be provided 2.0% ($21.57) of the standard award rate in respect to any 24-hour period or part thereof during the period from the time of finishing ordinary duty on Monday to the time of finishing ordinary duty on Friday.
32.3. The on-call allowance of 3.96% ($42.72) in respect of any other 24-hour period or part thereof for any public holiday or part thereof.
32.4. For the health and safety of employees (Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic)) for any employee that is required to work on-call will not be required to return to work at 9am the next day. The employer will ensure a complete 8-hour rest period between duty shifts including the on-call working period.

(b) Employees bound by this Enterprise Agreement, who are rostered to be on-call during a full Saturday, Sunday or public holiday or any day that the employee would normally be rostered off duty, will be paid an allowance per day as follows: On-call Allowance 1 July 2014 (ffpp) 1 July 2016 (ffpp) Weekends/Public Holidays/ Rostered Days off $52.35 $53.65 $55.00
On-Call Allowances. C14.1 Where an employee is required or directed, prior to ceasing duty, by the employee's manager/supervisor to be contactable and available to be recalled to duty within a reasonable time outside the employee’s ordinary hours of duty (a restricted situation), the employee will be entitled to be paid an on-call allowance of:
a) ten percent of the employee’s hourly rate of pay for each hour of on-call Monday to Friday;
b) fifteen percent of the employee’s hourly rate of pay for each hour of on-call on Saturday and Sunday;
c) twenty percent of the employee’s hourly rate of pay for each hour of on-call on public holidays and accrued days off.
