Outside Work Detail. In any event requiring the services of an off-duty Firefighter, said Firefighter shall be paid at the rate of forty five dollars ($45.00) per hour. Firefighters working outside details shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours, unless the detail is offered at a lesser minimum of hours in advance of the assignment. In the event of a cancellation of an outside detail, less than one (1) hour before the Firefighter reports to duty, the minimum of four (4) hours will be paid unless the detail was offered at a lesser minimum of hours then that will be the amount of hours paid for cancellation. Preference in assignment to outside details will be given to full time employees. If full time employees are unavailable, then non-full time employees will be offered the detail. Reasonable notices of details shall be given. When a non-full time employee elects to work the detail under the conditions of this section, he/she may not be “bumped” from that detail. Assignment to duties of Town related functions including but not limited to tax time, town meetings, school district meetings and elections shall not be considered assignment to an outside work detail.

In the event of cancellation of an outside detail, less than one (1) hour before the officer reports for duty, the minimum of four (4) hours will be paid. 27.3 Preference in assignment to outside details will be given to full-time employees. If full-time employees are unavailable, then temporary employees will be offered the detail. Reasonable notices of details shall be given. 27.4 When according to the conditions outlined in Section 27.3, a temporary employee elects to work the detail, he/she may not be “bumped” from that detail within forty-eight (48) hours of the commencement of the outside duty assignment. 27.5 Assignment to duties of Town related functions including but not limited to tax time, Town Meetings, school district meetings and elections shall not be considered assignment to an outside work detail.
Outside Work Detail. 1. Payment for outside details for both years of the contract shall be at a rate equal to the master patrol officer overtime rate established in the first year. 2. Employees working outside details shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours except if the work is canceled at least two (2) hours before the officer is to report for duty. 3. In the event that an employee works a detail for eight (8) continuous hours, all hours worked in excess of the eight (8) continuous hours shall be paid at one and one­half (1.5) times the applicable detail rate in Section 1 of this Article. This Section shall not apply to split details. 4. All details must be authorized by the Chief of Police or his designee. If the laws and regulations pertaining to contribution penalties paid by the Town to the New Hampshire Retirement System go into effect or change during the term of the contract, both parties agree to undertake good faith negotiations to address the changes within six months of the effective date of said changes. 5. The Town will match voluntary employee contributions of detail earnings to the employee’s 457(b) retirement program on an equal basis up to a total amount of $1000 per employee per calendar year for detail earnings. This match only applies to detail earnings and any portion of match unused cannot carryover to a subsequent calendar year The Town match will be paid in lump sum on a quarterly basis. Within two weeks of the end of the quarter, the Town will provide the employee a report showing the amount of detail earnings for the year to date and employee deposits to the 457(b) program. The employee will return the request for the amount of Town quarterly match, such that the amount does not exceed the employee’s 457(b) contributions attributable to detail earnings and not in excess of the $1000 cap within seven days. The employee can opt to receive all of their eligible match or a portion thereof in a given quarter, such that all eligible match is paid by the last quarter of the year. 6. The Town will implement and maintain an Detail Ordinance outlining the conditions and locations for which outside details will be required.
Outside Work Detail. Outside Work Details apply to those jobs where New England PBA Local 409 members are paid by persons and/or firms needing police coverage and are reimbursed by outside entities (such as private vendors, federal agencies, etc.), either as required under State law or City/Town ordinance or for the safety and protection of the general public. These include construction companies working on or near roadways, public dances, rallies, private parties, athletic events, political events, etc. All “Outside Work Details” will be offered to all New England PBA local 409 members first. The “Outside Work Detail” rates shall be paid for each calendar year at the overtime rate for a top step Patrolman for all hours worked. A RTICLE 5 - UNIFORMS 5.01 ALLOWANCES 5.01 (a) The TOWN shall furnish all regular full-time uniformed personnel with the required uniform and equipment as approved by the Chief of Police. The TOWN agrees to replace items of the uniform issue, as found necessary upon inspection and as approved by the Chief or the Chief’s authorized representative, such replacement to be at the TOWN’s expense unless the need for replacement is the result of negligence or wrong doing by the employee. Title to all issued uniforms and equipment shall remain with the TOWN. Employees shall sign for all Town issued equipment. 5.01 (b) Boot allowance. The Town will reimburse uniformed officers for boots purchased not to exceed $200.00 on an annual basis. Officers must submit a receipt. 5.01 (c) Employees assigned to plain-clothes duty shall be reimbursed for clothing for an annual clothing allowance of $500 upon submission of receipts to the TOWN. If an employee is temporarily assigned by the Chief or his/her designee to plain clothes duty he/she shall receive $125 at the conclusion of every three (3) month period while on temporary assignment. 5.01 (d) Alterations of issued clothing when needed for all uniformed personnel will be provided by the TOWN with approval of the Chief of Police. The frequency and manner of cleaning of special items shall be determined by the Chief of Police. 5.01 (e) The TOWN will provide dry cleaning for two sets of uniforms per week for uniformed officers and for three clothing sets (pants, shirt, and tie) for plain-clothes officers. With the permission of the Chief, additional dry cleaning may be authorized on a case-by-case basis. A RTICLE 6 - USE OF VEHICLES
Outside Work Detail. 1. Payment for outside work details shall be paid at a rate of $50.00 an hour, with a minimum of four (4) hours. 2. Two detail lists will be established January 1st at 00:00 each year. One list will be departmental seniority (with firefighting credentials) with the most senior Member being listed at the top of the list and the least senior Member being at the bottom. The other list will be departmental seniority (with Emergency Medical credentials) with the most senior Member being listed at the top of the list and the least senior Member being at the bottom. Outside work detail will be offered to the Member with the least amount of hours first; if this Member refuses the overtime then the Member with the next lowest hours shall be contacted. In the event that two (2) or more Members have the same amount of hours then the senior Member shall be offered first. 3. Outside work details will be filled by the Officer in Charge (OIC) or his/her designee. The Member may decide to "turn back" the detail with at least 4 hours’ notice (unless sick, then there are no time restraints). 4. A Member may not cancel an overtime or detail shift in order to take another overtime or detail shift. 5. Details may be taken in half-shifts. The Member bears responsibility for finding another suitable Member to split the shift with.

  • Outside Work All work necessary to the assembling, installation, erection, operation, maintenance, repair, control, in- spection and supervision of all electrical apparatus, devices, wires, cables, supports, insulators, conduc- tors, ducts and raceways when part of distributing systems outside of buildings, railroads and outside the directly related railroad property and yards. In- stalling and maintaining the catenary and trolley work on railroad property, and bonding of rails. All underground ducts and cables when they are in- stalled by and are part of the system of a distrib- uting company, except in power stations during new construction, including ducts and cables to adjacent switch racks or substations. All outdoor substations and electrical connections up to and including the setting of transformers and the connecting of the secondary buses thereto. Outside work to include renewable electrical energy sources such as solar photovoltaic, geothermal, wind, biomass, wave, etc., and other distributed en- ergy installations such as fuel cells, microturbines, etc.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Project Work Plan The Statement of Work is the formal document incorporated into the Grant. The Project Work Plan documents how the Grantee will achieve the performance measures outlined in the Grant. Changes to the Statement of Work require an amendment. Project Work Plans may be changed with written approval from PEI and the Grantee.

  • Statement of Work The Statement of Work to which Grantee is bound is incorporated into and made a part of this Grant Agreement for all purposes and included as Attachment A.

  • Creative Work The Executive agrees that all creative work and work product, including but not limited to all technology, business management tools, processes, software, patents, trademarks, and copyrights developed by the Executive during the term of this Agreement, regardless of when or where such work or work product was produced, constitutes work made for hire, all rights of which are owned by the Employer. The Executive hereby assigns to the Employer all rights, title, and interest, whether by way of copyrights, trade secret, trademark, patent, or otherwise, in all such work or work product, regardless of whether the same is subject to protection by patent, trademark, or copyright laws.

  • Work Location While employed by the Company hereunder, the Executive shall perform his duties (when not traveling or engaged elsewhere in the performance of his duties) at the offices of the Company in Bermuda. The Executive shall travel to such places on the business of the Company in such manner and on such occasions as the Company may from time to time reasonably require.

  • Technical Support Services 2.1 The technical support services (the "Services"): Party A agrees to provide to Party B the relevant services requested by Party B, which are specified in Exhibit 1 attached hereto ("Exhibit 1").

  • Project Plan Development of Project Plan Upon the Authorized User’s request, the Contractor must develop a Project Plan. This Project Plan may include Implementation personnel, installation timeframes, escalation procedures and an acceptance plan as appropriate for the Services requested. Specific requirements of the plan will be defined in the RFQ. In response to the RFQ, the Contractor must agree to furnish all labor and supervision necessary to successfully perform Services procured from this Lot. Project Plan Document The Contractor will provide to the Authorized User, a Project Plan that may contain the following items: • Name of the Project Manager, Contact Phone Numbers and E-Mail Address; • Names of the Project Team Members, Contact Phone Numbers and E-Mail Address; • A list of Implementation milestones based on the Authorized User’s desired installation date; • A list of responsibilities of the Authorized User during system Implementation; • A list of designated Contractor Authorized Personnel; • Escalation procedures including management personnel contact numbers; • Full and complete documentation of all Implementation work; • Samples of knowledge transfer documentation; and • When applicable, a list of all materials and supplies required to complete the Implementation described in the RFQ. Materials and Supplies Required to Complete Implementation In the event that there are items required to complete an Implementation, the Contractor may request the items be added to its Contract if the items meet the scope of the Contract. Negotiation of Final Project Plan If the Authorized User chooses to require a full Project Plan, the State further reserves the right for Authorized Users to negotiate the final Project Plan with the apparent RFQ awardee. Such negotiation must not substantively change the scope of the RFQ plan, but can alter timeframes or other incidental factors of the final Project Plan. The Authorized User will provide the Contractor a minimum of five (5) business days’ notice of the final negotiation date. The Authorized User reserves the right to move to the next responsible and responsive bidder if Contractor negotiations are unsuccessful.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • WORK ACCESS The Association shall provide a current, written list of its Association Representatives to all heads of departments, offices, or bureaus represented herein and the CAO. The Association shall be responsible for keeping the list current. An Association Representative shall have access to department, office, or bureau facilities where Unit members are employed during regular working hours to assist employees covered under this MOU in addressing grievances when such Association assistance is requested by a grievant(s) or to investigate matters arising out of the application of the provisions of this MOU. The Association Representative shall request authorization for such visits by contacting the designated Management representative of the head of the office, department, or bureau. In the event immediate access cannot be authorized, the designated Management representative shall inform the Association Representative as to the earliest time when access can be granted. This Article shall not be construed as a limitation on the power of the head of a department, office, or bureau to restrict access to areas designated for security or confidential purposes.
