Overtime/Double Time. The Employer agrees to pay overtime to security officers who are required to work on Sundays and designated Public Holidays, and that the overtime rate to be applied for working on Sundays and designated Public Holidays shall be double time.

Non-exempt employees of the bargaining unit who are required to work more than their regularly scheduled hours in any one (1) day or more than forty (40) hours in any one (1) week shall be compensated for such overtime hours. Thus, if an employee works more than 8 minutes, the employee will be paid for 15 minutes (rounding up); conversely, if an employee works less than 8 minutes, the employee will be paid for zero time (rounding down). Overtime/Double Time. For all bargaining unit employees, Time and one-half shall be paid for hours worked over seven and one-half (7 1/2) in one (1) day or over thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours (up to and including forty-five (45) hours) in pay status in any work week. Employees shall be entitled to accumulate up to (3) three weeks of compensatory time off or in accordance with current University policy, whichever is greater. Overtime/Double Time. Time and one half (1 ½) the wage rate shall be paid for all time over eight (8) hours worked Monday through Friday, in one pay period. Any time worked over ten (10) hours on a four-tens (10’s) schedule Monday through Thursday shall be paid at time and one half (1 ½) the base rate. All work commencing with the beginning of the established workday on Saturday shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half. All work commencing with the beginning of the established workday on a Sunday and or Holiday shall be paid at the rate of double time.
A. Any employee that is told to report to work for any time beyond the scheduled work week shall be paid at time and one-half (1 ½) regardless if said employee has missed a day during the week for something other than inclement weather. The employer has the right to refuse to work the employee on the overtime day for missing a day during the regular scheduled work week provided the time missed was not excused.
B. Employees referred after Monday who work all available hours in the remainder of the scheduled work week shall be paid at time and one-half (1 ½) for any work performed on Saturday within that week, or on Friday on a four (4) tens (10) schedule.

15.1 In the event the need for overtime should arise, overtime will be compensated according to the following schedules.
A. Double time will be paid when predetermined staffing levels are increased to address emergency situations. Such pay shall be for a minimum of two (2) hours.
B. All other circumstances where overtime is required will be paid at time-and-one- half (1 ½). 40-hour per week employees will be paid time-and-one-half (1 ½) for all time worked:
1. In excess of forty (40) hours per work week; or
2. Outside the employee’s normal assigned work schedule.
