Overtime/Double Time. The Employer agrees to pay overtime to security officers who are required to work on Sundays and designated Public Holidays, and that the overtime rate to be applied for working on Sundays and designated Public Holidays shall be double time.

Overtime/Double Time. For all bargaining unit employees, Time and one-half shall be paid for hours worked over seven and one-half (7 1/2) in one (1) day or over thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours (up to and including forty-five (45) hours) in pay status in any work week. Employees shall be entitled to accumulate up to (3) three weeks of compensatory time off or in accordance with current University policy, whichever is greater. The established work week is Monday (starting at 12:01 am) through Sunday (ending 11 :59pm). Double time will be paid for all hours worked beyond forty-five hours in any work week.

Overtime/Double Time. Non-exempt employees of the bargaining unit who are required to work more than their regularly scheduled hours in any one (1) day or more than forty (40) hours in any one (1) week shall be compensated for such overtime hours. The overtime rate shall be one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay, except that double time (two (2) times the employees’ regular hourly rate of pay) shall be compensation for hours worked on the seventh (7th) day of an employee’s work week. If an employee’s regular schedule is between Monday and Friday, then their seventh day shall always be Sunday for double-time rate purposes. If the employee’s regular work schedule includes work on Saturdays or Sundays, then the seventh day of an employee’s workweek shall be the seventh day following the first of four or five consecutive scheduled days of work. If on a 9/80 schedule where the first day of the week is their flex day (i.e., either an 8-hour day or a day off), that day will still be the first day of the week for overtime and double-time rate purposes. Thus, if an employee works more than 8 minutes, the employee will be paid for 15 minutes (rounding up); conversely, if an employee works less than 8 minutes, the employee will be paid for zero time (rounding down). For the purposes of this section sick leave, vacation, bereavement leave and holidays shall be considered as time worked. In the event an overtime shift is scheduled in advance, the employee shall be compensated for a minimum of two (2) hours of pay at the appropriate overtime rate, even if the actual duration of work is less than two (2) hours. This provision shall not be applied to overtime work that is an extension of a regularly scheduled shift. Nothing in this section shall prevent an employee and their supervisor from agreeing to work schedule adjustments in the same workweek on straight time, hour for hour basis. Related to Overtime/Double Time

  • Double Time 9 1. All work performed beyond regular overtime on a full-time employee’s 10 scheduled second (2nd) or third (3rd), or fourth (4th) day of rest will be paid at the rate of two (2) 11 times the employee’s regular rate of pay, provided that an employee who has refused to work

  • Applicable Time Off Employees who are granted leave in accordance with this Article shall take time off in the following order:

  • Overtime Lieu Time Where an employee has worked an accumulated approved overtime hours (other than overtime hours related to paid holidays) such employee shall have the option of electing payment at the applicable overtime rate or time off equivalent to the applicable overtime rate (i.e. where the applicable rate I time and one-half, then time off shall be at one and one-half times. Where an employee chooses the latter option, such time off must be taken within the succeeding two pay periods of the occurrence of the overtime at a time mutually agreeable to the Hospital and the employee, or payment in accordance with the former option shall be made. An employee shall not be required to take time off to avoid payment of overtime.

  • Overtime/Compensatory Time Overtime shall be paid for all hours worked in excess of the regularly scheduled workday. Compensatory time may be earned, in lieu of overtime, for overtime hours or hours earned under 18.7 or 18.8 of this article. In no case will compensatory time be allowed, in lieu of overtime once the employee has reached the compensatory time limit in 18.10.

  • Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.

  • RDDS update time Refers to the time measured from the reception of an EPP confirmation to a transform command on a domain name, host or contact, up until the servers of the RDDS services reflect the changes made.

  • DNS update time Refers to the time measured from the reception of an EPP confirmation to a transform command on a domain name, until the name servers of the parent domain name answer “DNS queries” with data consistent with the change made. This only applies for changes to DNS information.
