PART-TIME STAFF. A certificated staff member who is not employed full-time, will be responsible for the cost of his/her own fringe benefits on a prorated basis.
PART-TIME STAFF a) Teachers contracted for less than full-time employment will be advanced to the next step on the salary schedule each year in the same manner as a full-time employee.
PART-TIME STAFF. All staff working on a continuing basis and employed as a part-time member of staff. Part-time staff receive the entitlements of this agreement on a pro-rata basis.
PART-TIME STAFF. In the same way as a full-time teacher will have a contractual obligation to have no more than 22½ hours per week pupil contact, a similar pro rata obligation will apply to part-time teachers – examples are given in Appendix 1.
PART-TIME STAFF. The District shall contribute a pro-rata share, based upon the number of hours worked, of the District’s contribution for regular teachers working less than full-time, but in no case shall the District contribute any dollars for or toward the payment of premium for teachers who work less than twenty (20) hours or more per week.
PART-TIME STAFF. For all part-time staff, seniority shall be awarded to such staff regularly assigned to a .3 or more assignment on a prorated basis for service provided during the regular school year. Part-time teachers hired prior to July 1, 1984 shall retain that seniority accrued and shall accrue additional seniority and have such seniority rights as are contained in the 1981-84 contract.
PART-TIME STAFF. All part-time staff members hired on or after July 1, 1984 within the tenure area of the position abolished shall be laid off prior to any lay off of full-time staff members. Part-time staff members shall be laid off on the basis of seniority within a tenure area. Part-time staff members shall have the right to recall for a period of three years to only a part-time position similar to the position which they held and for which they are certified.
PART-TIME STAFF. 14.1: Part-time staff members in the bargaining unit who are appointed or reappointed during the term of this Agreement will receive an appointment letters of employment which will specify:
PART-TIME STAFF. A. Part-time staff shall be defined as those staff members employed for twenty-five (25) hours per week or less.
PART-TIME STAFF. The changes for part-time staff will come into effect from 1 July 2024. This is to coincide with the commencement of the next financial year. Part-time staff will receive written confirmation that reflects, Monday 15 July 2024, first day of Term 3 2024; as the official date for the change to the part-time model conditions of this agreement. The School uses up to a maximum of 20 mandatory days across the year that part-time staff are required to attend School and undertake their professional activities. The 20 days are not intended to capture exact days required but rather allow for the ebbs and flows of the part- From a School perspective we estimate that the mandatory activities would result in approximately 13 to 14 part or full days that require attendance across the year. The designated activities that part-time staff would be required to attend to meet their professional responsibilities include the days/activities specified under Clause 19 Professional Learning and Clause 19.3, 19.4 and 19.6: 21.3.1 8 structured Professional Learning Days 21.3.2 Department Collaboration Sessions 21.3.4 21.3.5 Presentation Night
