Pay and Allowance. The District will provide SEIU 1021 the equivalent of a 2% (two percent) across-the- board, ongoing on the schedule, base salary increase effective January 1, 2017, on the permanent employees' Salary Schedule for fiscal year 2016-2017 for current SEIU 1021 employees. Effective July 1, 2017, the District shall provide a 1.5% (one and one-half percent) for SEIU permanent employees, and only for current employees employed with the District on or after July 1, 2017. This one time increase will be ongoing on the Salary Schedule, if and only if, the District generated 20,000 Resident, For-Credit FTES in the fiscal year 2017-2018, as reported on the Attendance Reports submitted to the State Chancellor's office. In the event the minimum FTES increase is below 20,000 Resident FTES, the 1.5% increase in the 2017-2018 Salary Schedule will sunset at 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2018. "Me Too" Clause If during the duration of this agreement, fiscal years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018, the District agrees to provide a higher salary increase to another employee group, upon finalization of such an agreement, the District shall provide members of SEIU Local 1021 the same salary increase provided to other employee groups. The District and SEIU Local 1021 shall meet to discuss any additional funding received by the District. Pay and Allowance. 11.1 Salary‌ Effective July 1, 2021, the salary schedules for all unit members shall be increased by 1%. The District will place an additional 1% increase on all salary schedules effective January 1, 2022. For the 2021 – 2022 school year the District will pay a one-time off schedule stipend to all unit members of $1,275, prorated by FTE. This off-schedule payment shall be paid within forty-five (45) days of the ratification of this Agreement by each party.
Pay and Allowance. A. Regular Rate of Pay A. The District agrees to provide an overall percentage rate increase equal to the greatest overall percentage rate raise or bonus granted to any recognized collective bargaining unit within the Alameda Unified School District for the duration of this contract. All regular paychecks of employees in the bargaining Unit shall be itemized to include deductions. Employees shall be advised annually of their accumulated sick leave, vacation, and compensatory time. All twelve month employees shall be paid in twelve equal installments, one per month payable on the last working day of the month. Ten month employees shall have the option to be paid in ten or twelve monthly equal installments. To be paid on the last day of the month. Any payroll error resulting in insufficient payment for an employee in the bargaining Unit shall be corrected and a supplemental check issued not later than five (5) working days after the employee provides notice to the Payroll Department. An employee receiving a promotion shall be moved to the appropriate range. The salary step shall remain the same. If the difference between the two ranges is less than $60, the employee shall be moved to the next step. Any employee in the bargaining Unit required to use his/her vehicle on District business shall be reimbursed at the current District rate for all miles driven on behalf of the District. This amount shall be payable on a separate warrant drawn against District funds after approval by the Governing Board. Employees shall not be required to use their personal vehicles to transport students. The rate is applicable to the current IRS rate per mile. Any employee in the bargaining unit, who, as a result of a work assignment, must have meals away from the District, shall be reimbursed for the full cost of the meal upon submission of the claim. Any employee in the bargaining Unit, who, as a result of a work assignment, must be lodged away from home overnight, shall be reimbursed by the District for the full cost of such lodging. Where possible, the District shall provide advance funds to the employee for such lodging. If advanced funds are not available or do not cover the full cost of required lodging, the District shall reimburse the employee for out-of-pocket lodging expenses as soon as possible.
Pay and Allowance. 13.1 Salary schedule shall be in accordance with Appendix C. 13.2 When a new classification is developed, the District shall notify CSEA's President in writing not more than five (5) days after such determination. Within thirty (30) days of said notice, the parties shall meet to discuss salary for the new classification. 13.2.1 Until such salary for the new classification has been determined it shall be placed on the salary schedule as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent. 13.2.2 The procedure for filling a new classification shall be as follows: 13.2.2.1 Under normal circumstances, the position will be filled after salary placement has been completed. 13.2.2.2 If the position must be filled immediately, a temporary employee will be assigned to it until such time as salary placement has been completed. After said salary agreement, the position will be advertised in the normal manners. 13.3 The District agrees to implement a life insurance program providing $7,000 for full-time and $5,000 coverage for part-time unit members, at no cost to the employees. 13.4 The increased cost of PERS, Workers' Compensation, and Unemployment Insurance will be paid by the District. 13.5 The District agrees to implement the program known as the Employer "PERS Pick-up". This plan shelters the employee's contribution. 13.6 All employees in the bargaining unit shall be paid once per month payable on the last working day of the month. If the normal payday falls on a holiday, the paycheck shall be issued on the preceding workday. 13.6.1 Less than 12-month employees shall have the option to receive payments in either 11 or 12 monthly installments. The District shall make this option available once each year and once employees have selected their option, they may not change it until the following year. 13.7 Any employee in the bargaining unit who is required to travel between work sites shall be reimbursed at the mileage rate set by the IRS, which rate shall become effective as of July 1st of each year. The same rate shall apply to all travel on District business. The amount due shall be payable in a separate warrant drawn once a month. 13.7.1 Any employee who, as a result of work assignment, must have meals away from the District shall be reimbursed for the cost of such meals, upon submission of appropriate receipts.   • PAY AND ALLOWANCES 8.1 The regular rate of pay for each position in the bargaining unit shall remain as provided in the Salary Schedule found in Appendix A of this Agreement. 8.2 All employees in the bargaining unit shall be paid once per month. Checks will normally be delivered on the last working day of the month except if the normal pay date falls on a holiday the paycheck shall be issued on the preceding workday. 8.3 Any payroll error resulting in insufficient payment for an employee shall be corrected and a supplemental check issued not later than five (5) working days after the employee provides notice to the payroll department. 8.4 Any paycheck for an employee which is lost, or not delivered within five (5) days if mailed, shall be replaced as soon as practicable following the employees' notification to the payroll department of the check's disappearance. 8.5 Any employee who receives a change to a higher classification shall be placed on the appropriate range and step of the new classification which will insure at least a five (5) percent increase in pay as a result of the change in classification when step and range allows. 8.6 Any employee in the bargaining unit required to use his/her vehicle on District business shall be reimbursed at the rate approved by IRS per mile for all miles driven on behalf of the District. 8.7 Longevity schedule shall be as follows: 10 years of service, $25.00 monthly; 15 years of service, $35.00 monthly; 20 years of service $45.00 monthly; 25 years of service, $55.00 monthly; and 30 years of service at $65.00 per month shall be paid. 8.8 Employees working normally only on days when school is in session shall have their salaries computed on the number of paid days, including vacation and holidays, and paid in ten (10) equal payments unless otherwise requested by the employee. Days worked in excess shall be compensated at the regular or overtime rate whichever is applicable. 8.9 Any employee in the bargaining unit who, as a result of work assignment, must have meals or lodging away from the District shall be reimbursed for the full cost of the meals or be provided meals by the District. The guidelines for meals and lodging shall be based upon Board Policy #3350 and Regulation 3350. 8.10 The District will pay the agreed upon contribution to PERS for all classified regular employees working 20 hours per week or more. 8.11 Should the cost of the total PERS payment on behalf of covered employees in the classified service exceed 18.00% in any year, covered employees will pay any amount in excess of 18.00% not to exceed a total of 7.0%. Employees hired after July 1, 2011, shall pay the full employee share of PERS (seven percent – 7.0%). 8.12 Designation of 10, 11, and 12 Month Employees: Ten (10) month employees work either 149, 166, 180, 186, 190, 193, or 195 contract workdays. Eleven (11) month employees work either 200 or 205 contract workdays. Twelve (12) month employees work 260 contract workdays. 8.13 In any year where the work year consists of 261 possible workdays for twelve month employees, the work calendar for those employees shall be modified so that there totals only 260 days. One day shall be considered a non-work, non-paid day to be taken with the approval of the immediate supervisor. 8.14 The salary schedule for classified employees shall be increased by two percent (2%) effective July 1, 2018. In addition, an off-schedule bonus in the amount of three percent (3%) will be paid on the adjusted 2018/2019 salary schedule. Payment for the 2018-2019 year will be paid by June 30, 2019. One percent (1.0%) of the above referenced off-schedule bonus is in consideration for two (2) Professional Development Days added to the 2019-2020 work year. All employees will receive two (2) additional workdays at their normal rate of pay. This is clarified below: 12 month employees - 262 paid workdays at their normal rate of pay 11 month employees - 2 additional workdays at their normal rate of pay 10 month employees - 2 additional workdays at their normal rate of pay 8.15 The District shall provide a one percent (1.0%) off-schedule payment each year that the instructional calendar calls for 181 days of student instruction. 8.16 The salary schedule for classified employees shall be increased by three percent (3%) effective July 1, 2021. In addition, a one-time off schedule payment of $2,000 for employees whose contracted hours are 5 hours or more per day. Employees whose contracted hours are less than 5 hours per day shall receive a one-time payment of $1,000.00.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Auto Allowance The Company shall provide to Executive a car allowance in an amount equal to $1,000 per month during the Employment Period.

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Automobile Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive with an automobile allowance in the amount of $1,000.00 per month to be allocated at the Executive’s discretion, or such other monthly amount designated by the Board, and that allowance shall be payable in regular installments in accordance with the Company’s general payroll practices.

  • Expense Allowance The Company shall reimburse the Executive for all reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him from time to time in the performance of his duties hereunder, against receipts therefor in accordance with the then effective policies and requirements of the Company.
