Payment of Tuition Fees. 1. The County shall prepay for all required courses necessary to obtain an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, and/or Masters Degree in Fire Science, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, and Fire Administration. An employee may take courses either through The University of Nevada system, or through a correspondence program at a regionally accredited university. The County shall prepay these courses based on the actual cost per credit charged at the college or university at which the employee is taking classes. 2. Any and all electives must receive prior approval by the Fire Chief. 3. Conditions for payment of tuition fees: a. If the employee fails to maintain a "C" average or better for each course taken, he/she shall be required to reimburse the County for all funds advanced. b. If the employee fails to complete the course, resigns from County service before completion of the course, or is terminated for any reason prior to completion of the course, he/she is required to reimburse the County. c. If the employee resigns before he/she has completed one (1) year of service following successful completion of a course, and the County has already reimbursed the educational institution for tuition fees, the amount of the tuition fees which the County has paid shall be withheld from the employee's final payroll check from the County. d. In order that the Fire Chief may make an overall determination of the status of the degree as well as the grade average requirement, each participating employee is required to provide a transcript of grade record to the Xxxxx County Human Resources Director upon completion of a course for posting in his/her personnel file. e. If an employee fails to provide a transcript of grade records to the Xxxxx County Human Resources Director within sixty (60) calendar days of completion of a course, reimbursement fees shall automatically be withheld from the employee's payroll check regardless of grade, without recourse. 4. The County shall prepay the costs required to obtain or maintain Paramedic certification for Fire Suppression, Fire Investigation, and Training Division personnel. An employee required by the Fire Department to attend Paramedic recertification courses while off duty, shall be paid the overtime rate for these off duty hours in training. 5. Payment of Tuition Fees. 7.1 International self-funding students a) For all Pre-Sessional English programmes, the full course fee is payable before commencement of the programme.
Payment of Tuition Fees. 5.1 General Terms for Payment Current course/programme tuition fees (“Tuition Fees”) must be paid in full before registration/enrolment week unless otherwise agreed in accordance with these Terms. The Tuition Fees must be received in cleared funds in accordance with the Payment Methods set out at the end of these Terms. Payment must be made strictly on or before the dates set out by us. You will not be able to commence your course until we have received the relevant payment. Please note that: a) payments made to us are not transferrable between you and anyone else; b) it is your responsibility to ensure that current course/programme Tuition Fees are paid; c) we are not liable for any payment (made by you) that does not reach our correct account due to you entering our details incorrectly; and d) We are not liable if your bank, building society, credit card or debit card supplier declines or refuses payment. It is your responsibility to check that payment has been deducted from your account. 5.2 Other important information All prices and payments are in GBP (£) and inclusive of VAT. Fees are subject to regular review and change. Fees and other amounts payable are published separately for each intake and the most recently published pricing is payable by all students studying at the relevant time unless the relevant amounts were paid in full prior to the publication of the new pricing. Payment of Tuition Fees. 6.1 By enrolling at the College you are committing to the College’s Fees Policy. 6.2 Fees are charged in GBP as quoted in the fees policy. Tuition fees may increase in subsequent years for both new and continuing students in line with an inflationary amount determined by government, the College and college partners 6.3 If you owe fees from previous enrolments with the College or a University partner either from a previous course or a previous academic year, enrolment on your higher education course will be at the discretion of the College and you may not be permitted to enroll until they have been cleared 6.4 You cannot complete your enrolment until you have either made payment of the fees or you have evidence, to the satisfaction of the College, of a payment plan in place such as a student loan or payment by a sponsor (such as youremployer) 6.5 Fees may be paid directly to the College in instalments for students funding their own studies at the discretion of the Finance Department and on approval of an instalment plan 6.6 Failure to pay fees may result in further action to recover monies owing to the College 6.7 If you terminate your agreement with the College or University partner other than in accordance with section 7 below, you will be liable for the full amount of fees due for your course 6.8 If the College cancels your course, notwithstanding the provisions set out in the Student Protection Plan should this be triggered, you will be eligible for a refund according to the details laid out in the Fees Policy whereby any part/full refund will be determined by the circumstances of such closure 6.9 The College requires evidence of tuition fee payment, (usually your payment schedule provided by Student Finance England), confirmation of Employer Sponsorship, or an approved instalment plan, in order to issue your laptop device. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure application for student finance is in good time to provide this evidence, or the issue of your laptop may be delayed.

Payment of Tuition Fees. 2.1 A study period at Holmesglen consists of no more than 24 weeks within a semester. The ESOS Act now limits the collection of prepaid tuition fees. Tuition fees for all courses including ELICOS are payable per study period. Fees payable are documented in the learner’s Letter of Offer and Fee Schedule. Learners can pay full fees if they wish to, but are not required to pay more than 50% up front. 2.2 Tuition fees paid offshore are payable to Holmesglen Institute of TAFE by Electronic Funds Transfer, MasterCard, Visa or international bank draft (in Australian dollars, drawn from an Australian bank in Australia). Holmesglen’s bank account details are: Holmesglen Institute of TAFE Commonwealth Bank of Australia – Ashburton Branch 000 Xxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx Once payment has been lodged, learners must immediately forward the remitter’s name together with a copy of the remittance advice/TT transmission notice in order for Holmesglen to track the payment. 2.3 Tuition fees paid onshore can be paid in cash, by bank cheque, MasterCard or Visa, or over the internet. 2.4 Further fees are payable for additional courses, graduation ceremonies, excursions, resitting tests and examinations, textbooks, materials and activities. 2.5 When learners have to repeat a subject or subjects in the same study period in which they have paid a full fee, no additional fee is payable. However, when they repeat a subject or subjects in a study period in which they have not paid a full fee, a pro rata tuition fee is payable.
