President Leave. Following are areas of agreement concerning the granting of a leave of absence to the President of MSEA in order for him/her to carry out the duties of his/her elected office.
President Leave. There shall be 80 hours of paid leave for the Chapter President or his/her designee. The Local shall reimburse the District for the cost of the president or designee.
President Leave. The Hospital agrees the current President of ONA, Local 075 (hereinafter referred to as “the President”) shall be scheduled on the day shift only. Should Local 75 elect a different President of the Local, the Hospital agrees to meet with the Union to determine whether the arrangement to schedule the President on the day shift only may continue. The Hospital agrees to pay the President an average of 75 (seventy-five) hours of salary per month. This payment is compensation for time spent by the President on Union business involving the Hospital. In the event the President serves on the Ontario Nurses’ Association’s Central Bargaining Team, the time spent attending negotiating meetings with the Hospitals’ Central Negotiating Committee, as provided for in Article 6.04(b), will be in addition to the average of 75 (seventy- five) hours of salary per month referred to above. Upon request, the Hospital will provide the President with leave of absence without pay for the remaining working days each month to attend to Union business, subject to the Union reimbursing the Hospital as provided for in Article 11.02. Such requests shall be made in writing as far in advance as possible so as to keep scheduling changes on the President’s unit to a minimum. The Hospital will continue to pay the President’s salary and maintain the applicable benefits during the periods the President is on a leave of absence. All service and seniority shall continue to accrue in accordance with the Collective Agreement. Any Union Leave requested for the President will be in addition to Union leave days referred to in Appendix 5, Article E-1. Should Local 75 elect a different President, management agrees to meet with the Union to determine whether the arrangement with respect to paid and unpaid time off for the President will continue. STJOH02.C20 44 LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING Between: ST. JOSEPH'S HEALTHCARE, XXXXXXXX (Hereinafter referred to as the "Hospital") And: ONTARIO NURSES' ASSOCIATION (Hereinafter referred to as the "Union")
President Leave. A teacher who is elected president of Local No 55 shall be granted a .5 FTE leave of absence without pay and at no cost to the District.
President Leave. 21.1 By September 30 of each year, the Bargaining Unit shall provide the Board with the name of its President. The Bargaining Unit may amend the name as required during the school year.
President Leave. 35.01 The Division shall provide the President of the Seine River Teachers’ Association leave to conduct Association business for either 50% or 100% of the Teacher assignment as indicated by the Association.
President Leave. The President or designee shall be allowed to be absent from the building for the purpose of conducting business of the Association providing that approval from the building principal was received. In addition, the President, principal, and the Superintendent or designee shall meet before the school year to discuss job assignment and a work schedule that provides the President release time for the purpose of conducting business of the Association in the following amounts: Elementary School: Approximately 50% of each school day. Middle School: Approximately 50% of each school day. High School: Approximately 50% of each school day. In all cases, every attempt will be made to make the release time consecutive. Additionally, the Association President will not be responsible for any additional supervision duties. If the need for additional release time is identified by the President or designee and the Superintendent or designee, both parties will collaboratively determine the appropriate amount of release time. When a decision cannot be mutually agreed upon, the Superintendent will make the final determination. The Association shall reimburse the Board in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the replacement cost.
President Leave. The Association President shall be released from 100% of his/her work day to conduct Association President business. Said leave shall be considered full time employment for the purpose of seniority. A meeting of the Union President and Superintendent will take place by April 1st of each calendar year to discuss if it continues to be mutually beneficial to maintain 100% release. "Should both parties be unable to reach mutual agreement to continue the 100% release time, said release time shall be returned to 50%." The Association shall contribute an amount equal to 5% of XX Xxxx, Step A.
President Leave. The President of the Association shall be released from his/her teaching duties for one-half (½) day per month during the school term, with scheduling to be agreed between the Association President and the Superintendent or designee. He/she shall be considered a full-time teacher of the District with respect to the Illinois State Teachers’ Retirement System, all fringe benefits, tenure status, seniority and placement on the salary schedule. If the Association President does not use this leave in any month, the leave available for that month will be converted to additional Association leave that may be used in accordance with Section 5.6.1.
President Leave. The Association President or designee shall be provided five (5) school days of leave each semester without loss of compensation to engage in professional relations activities on behalf of the Association in the exercise of its responsibilities as the exclusive representative of teachers. The Association shall reimburse the School Corporation for the costs of the substitutes. Released time shall be in increments of at least one-half (1/2) days. A reasonable effort will be made to notify the Superintendent and the employee's building principal one (1) teaching day in advance. In addition, the President(s) of the association shall not lose pay for time spent on association duties during the contract day, so long as those activities are not conducted during times in which the president or any teacher with whom they are conferring are assigned to teaching or supervising duties.
