President Release Time. The City agrees to provide the DSA President with 80 hours of release time each pay period. The DSA agrees that the start of the term of office for a newly elected DSA President will coincide with the start of a City pay period. The DSA President shall not be eligible for pay premiums or other special pays while on release time.

President Release Time. 44 45 The President of North Kitsap Education Association shall be granted release time up to one (1) school 46 year. The President of the Association will meet with the Superintendent or his/her designee to mutually 47 schedule the president's release time if less than a full school year. The purpose of such leaves shall be 1 for the improvement of employer-employee relations, as evidenced with time spent meeting or 2 conferencing with the employer and for the purpose of conducting Association business. 3 4 The Association will reimburse the employer on a monthly basis, the base salary and the employer's 5 payment toward the president's District paid benefits, based on the amount of release time provided. 6 7 Nothing in this agreement will detract or negate any and all rights and benefits that would have accrued 8 to the president had he/she been working on a full-time basis; i.e., experience increment advancement 9 on the salary schedule and seniority status. 10 11 Upon the termination of the president's release time, the president will return to working full time in 12 his/her current position held prior to taking release time, unless the position has been terminated. 13
President Release Time a. Release time from teaching duties will be granted to the president of the BVTU for the purpose of conducting BVTU business. b. The amount of release time required will be determined annually by the BVTU and requests for such leave shall be in writing and received by the Superintendent of Schools by May 31 and earlier if possible. c. The Board will continue to pay the president his/her full salary and provide the benefits specified in this Agreement. The BVTU will reimburse the Board for the cost of such salary and benefits. d. The president shall be deemed to be in the full employ of the Board. e. The president shall inform the Board of the number of days (or partial days), if any, that he or she was absent from his/her duties due to illness. Such days will be deducted from the president's accumulated sick leave credits. f. The teacher returning to full teaching duties from a term or terms as president shall be assigned to the position held prior to the release or to a comparable position, which is acceptable to the teacher. The teacher has the right to refuse a maximum of two (2) jobs under this clause. g. In the event that the president is unable to continue to fulfill the presidential duties for health reasons, the Board shall grant release time for another BVTU member to assume the duties of the president; the former president will go on sick leave while the new president will be subject to the provisions in Article A. 22.1.c to A.22.1.f above.
President Release Time. The Association President or designee shall be provided one (1) day per week of release time from August through May with no loss of salary or other benefits for the purpose of participating in and conducting Association business. To the extent practicable, a monthly meeting will be scheduled during this release time between the Association President or designee, and the Director of Human Resources. Negotiations may be scheduled on days that the Association President or designee is released. The district will cover the expense of two release days per month. RTA will offset the cost of any additional days beyond the two district provided days of President release time per month, by reimbursing the District the full cost of a substitute, if a substitute is provided.
President Release Time. The District agrees to grant a leave time request for the President of the Kenai Peninsula Education Association for each year of the current contract, if requested. The President's release time shall be granted by the District, provided that the following conditions are met: a. the Association shall pay the full salary and benefits costs for the released President; b. the President shall not be released until the District has found an acceptable substitute who can perform the President's professional duties and responsibilities; (c) the request must be made in writing prior to April 15 of each year for the following school year. At the conclusion of the president’s term, the employee shall have the first right to refuse a vacant position for which the employee is qualified at the school in which the employee previously taught.
President Release Time. 1. The Association President shall be granted release time from his/her duties according to the provisions outlined in this Article. One of the purposes of said release shall be to collaborate with the Administration concerning issues of mutual concern involving the Board and the Association and to benefit both the Association and the Board by improving personnel relations. On or before March 1st, the Association shall notify the Board of its selection of option A, B or C below. The President shall remain on staff as an employee of the district and receive the full complement of sick leave, personal days and guide movement and all other terms and conditions as provided in the collective bargaining agreement. The Board shall provide health insurance coverage to the MTEA President during release leaves as stipulated under Article XI. The MTEA shall reimburse the Board for the President’s salary during any partial or full release periods. (a) The Board shall grant full-time leave to the Association President for the term of office in the upcoming school year. i. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the full salary of the President. ii. Upon return from approved leave, the Board shall reinstate the President into a comparable position within the same job category or teacher certification area held prior to the leave. The Board does not guarantee reinstatement to the same assignment held prior to the leave. (b) The President may request a partial release from duties for the term of office. The Superintendent and President shall agree to mutually acceptable arrangements for the part-time schedule. i. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the release portion of the President’s salary during the partial leave period. ii. Upon return from approved leave, the Board shall reinstate the President into a comparable position within the same job category or teacher certification area held prior to the leave. The Board does not guarantee reinstatement to the same assignment held prior to the leave. (c) The Board may grant up to fifteen (15) release days to the President for the purpose of conducting Association business. Release days must be pre-approved by the Superintendent or designee. A minimum of five (5) days advance notice must be provided for Presidential release days.
President Release Time. The Association President and/or designee shall be released four (4) hours per week for the purpose of conducting Association business. There shall be no reduction in pay or benefits as a result of such release time. The Association will reimburse to the District an amount equal to four (4) hours times the base rate of pay for time spent in President release time. The Association President will give 24 hours notice for such leave, whenever possible.

President Release Time. The CSEA Chapter President or designated executive board member, shall be granted twenty (20) days per year to conduct association business. This leave shall be calculated on a calendar year (January-December) basis.
