Reporting Allowances. It is recognized that, as required by their daily schedules, regular employees expect to start work and finish work at given times exclusive of overtime provisions.
Reporting Allowances. If an employee shall commence work on any day as scheduled, he will receive an allowance equal to his regularly scheduled hours for that day.
Reporting Allowances. 21.01 An employee who reports for work at the starting time of his scheduled shift, without having been previously notified by phone not to report, will be given at least four (4) hours of work at his regular straight time hourly rate of pay, or, if no work is available, he will be paid the equivalent to four (4) hours at his regular straight time hourly rate of pay in lieu of being required to work. This obligation shall not apply in the following circumstances:
a) When the employee has been absent from work and has failed to notify the Company at least the day before of his intention to return to work.
b) When the employee fails to keep the Company informed of a telephone number through which a message can be left for the employee.
c) When the lack of work is due to power shortage, fire, flood, breakdown, or in circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
Reporting Allowances. 22.01 An employee who reports for work at the starting time of his/her scheduled full shift, not having been previously advised not to so report shall be given a minimum of three (3) hours work at any work available, or three (3) hours pay in lieu if no work is available at the employee's regular rate of pay. The Employer shall not be subject to this obligation in the case of an employee who fails to keep the Employer informed of a telephone number, which may be used by the Employer to give notice, and in the case of fire, power failure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control of the Employer.

Reporting Allowances. 24.01 An employee who reports for work and is sent home by the Company because there is no work available shall be paid the equivalent of 4 hours’ work at straight time, provided he or she has not been notified that his or her services will not be required by the Company at least 2 hours before the start of a regular shift.
24.02 It is understood, however, that payment of the above allowance shall not be required if lack of work is due to circumstances beyond the control of the Company. Whenever this Article is invoked, the Company reserves the right to call/recall employees based on skill and ability to perform the work required for a period up to five working days. Extensions may be granted by mutual agreement.
24.03 An employee who has completed his full normal work day, as scheduled, and who has left the premises of the Company and who has then been called back to return to work, shall, upon reporting back to do the work assignment, be paid a minimum of 4 hours’ pay at straight time.

Where an employee is instructed to report late by the Com- pany, and is required to work beyond scheduled quitting time, one and one-half (1 times regular rate will be paid for hours worked after scheduled quitting time. The principle of clause will apply. employee who reports for work at regular time and is sent home no work is available, shall be paid for three quarters the number of hours regularly assigned on that shift or day. If a work stoppage occurs that is within the control of the Company in the second half of their shift during a week- day, employees will be assigned any available work to complete shift. This provision shall not apply in cases of fire, lightning, power failure, or like causes of work stoppage beyond the Company’s control. An employee who has clocked out and gone home and who is recalled to perform work which is not contiguous to his regular shift shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours pay at overtime rates and in addition shall be paid for one hour travelling time at overtime rates. This Article applies to both Production and Skilled Trades Work.
Reporting Allowances. A nonexempt employee who reports for scheduled work at the direction of the Contractor and who is prevented from working all or part of such scheduled work by conditions beyond his/her control, may be paid a reporting allowance up to the amount he/she would have received if such scheduled work had been performed.

When a Millwright employed on a job or project reports as usual for work, but is unable to commence work because of Climatic Conditions, he shall be given two (2) hours’ pay at prevailing rates, plus travelling allowances for reporting to the job, provided that the Millwright remains on the job site for the two (2) hour period if so requested by the Employer. When a Millwright employed on a job or project reports as usual for work, unless previously advised that there is no work available, he shall be given three (3) hours’ at the prevailing rates, plus travelling allowance for reporting on the job, provided that the Millwright remains on the job site for the three (3)hour period if so requested by the Employer. This does not apply if there is a dispute. If work is started on any shift and is unable to proceed for any reason except a labour dispute, the Millwright shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours’ pay at the prevailing rates, plus all applicable travelling allowances, provided that the Millwright remains on the job site for the four (4) hour period if so requested by the Employer. Where a limited work force can be used, notwithstanding the application of the conditions outlined in Section and the Foreperson shall divide all work as equally as possible amongst all Employees. The job Xxxxxxx shall be notified of those millwrights scheduled to work. When possible, all Xxxxxxxxxxx required to work outside shall be notified before the end of the previous shift. ARTICLE GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE Where a difference arises between the parties regarding the interpretation, application, administration or alleged xxxxx- tion of this Agreement, including any question as to whether a matter is arbitrable, the matter shall be adjusted under the following provisions. It is generally understood that an Employee has no grievance until an opportunity has been given to adjust a complaint. The Employee may discuss the matter, with or without the Xxxxxxx or Union Representative, with supervisory person- nel. A period of three (3) working days shall be allowed to adjust a complaint before proceeding to Step One of the grievance procedure. All grievances, including individual, group or policy griev- ances must be in writing and must be filed to commence Step One within twelve (12) days from the com- mencement of the circumstances from which the complaint arose. Reporting Allowances. 20.01 Any employee who reports for work at his regular starting time and is sent home because no work is available, shall receive two (2) hours pay at his regular rate. No payment shall be made if the employee has been notified in advance not to report. To qualify for the above, an employee must remain at work until told by his Supervisor that he may leave and must accept alternate work if it is offered and if refused he shall receive no reporting allowance.
20.02 Any employee, who having left the Company's premises after completing his shift, is called back to work in the case of an emergency, shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours at his regular rate of pay or time and one-half (1 - 1/2) for the hours actually worked, whichever is the greater.
