In the event of extending the period of studies under the conditions laid down in the Terms and Conditions of Studies, or under other regulations in force, the term of the Agreement shall be extended accordingly. This Agreement may be terminated before the date referred to in sections 1 and 2 in the event of the decision on expelling the Student from University is being made final.
§ 6. In the event of the Agreement being terminated before the term of the Agreement expires, the Student is entitled to a refund of fees after deducting the part of the fees for the classes held up to the date of the final decision of expelling the Student from the University. The Xxxx of the Faculty in which educational services are rendered to the Student issues a decision determining the amount of fee subject to refund. The tuition fee is subject to refund for the period during which the Student did not take part in the classes, if the foreigner is granted leave or resigns from the studies for medical reasons confirmed by a medical certificate, or for other substantial documented reasons beyond their control, subject to section 3. In the event of leave granted during the semester, the foreigner may apply for a refund of that part of the fee proportionate to the period during which they will not take part in classes. The application must be submitted to the Xxxxxx following a positive assessment issued by the Xxxx of respective Faculty, within 7 days of the date of granting the leave. If, subject to the Xxxx’x consent, the foreigner takes up studies during the period of leave, they are obliged to make the required payments within the deadlines indicated in this Agreement.
§ 7. The University shall send all correspondence to the Student at the address indicated herein. The Student is obliged to notify the University of any change of address or e-mail address in writing, by registered post, or by submitting the notice in person at the Xxxx'x office against the acknowledgement of receipt issued by a Xxxx’x office employee, within 7 days of the change. The correspondence concerning the course of studies and implementing the Agreement between the University and the foreigner is drawn up in Polish or English.
