Shift Differential Premium Pay. Employees assigned to evening or night shifts shall receive a shift differential of at least $1 per hour, except for those job titles listed in Appendix II, which shall receive the applicable rates. Employees in Skilled Trades job classifications assigned to evening or night shifts shall receive a shift differential of at least $2.00 per hour. For the purposes of this Agreement, evening shift is defined as a majority of time worked daily or weekly between 5:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Night shifts defined as a majority of time worked daily or weekly between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Any classification which receives a higher shift differential on the effective date of this Agreement shall continue to do so. Shift differential shall be paid for the entire shift that qualifies. When an employee is regularly assigned to an evening or night shift that qualifies for shift differential, they shall continue to receive the shift differential during temporary assignment, not to exceed five (5) consecutive working days, to a shift that does not qualify. When an employee is compensated for working overtime during hours for which shift differential premium pay is authorized, the overtime rate will be calculated including the shift differential premium pay for evening or night hours.

Shift Differential Premium Pay. Employees who work four (4) or more hours beyond 5:00 p.m. during their regular shift shall receive a 30- cent per hour pay differential for all hours worked in the shift. Employees who qualify for the shift differential during their regular shift on weekdays shall receive the “premium pay” differential for all hours worked on Saturday or Sunday of the same week. Non-physical plant classified employees who have their supervisor’s authorization to work until 7:00 p.m. or later, shall receive a thirty-cent per hour “premium pay” differential for all hours worked in the shift.

Shift Differential Premium Pay. Employees for whom the majority of their assigned shift hours are after 1900 (currently the swing and graveyard shifts) shall receive one dollar per hour ($1.00/hour) in a 5% shift differential pay for the assigned scheduled shift hours actually worked after 1900. Shift differential pay shall not apply to hours worked outside the employee's assigned schedule, including call-back time and time worked immediately preceding or following an employee's assigned shift. Shift differential pay also shall not apply to paid leave hours, including but not limited to vacation, sick and compensatory time off hours.

  • Shift Differential Pay SECTION 1: In addition to compensation provided by the wage schedule, employees working between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. shall be paid a shift differential premium of $.45 (forty-five cents) per hour in addition to the regular pay for those hours. SECTION 2: Employees must work a minimum of 3 (three) hours in order for shift differential to apply.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B.   • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C.   • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Night Differential An employee shall be paid a night differential, bi-weekly for hours worked between midnight and 7:00 a.m. at a rate of $3.00 per hour. (b) In no event shall there be any pyramiding of benefits or payments.
