Stewards and Representatives. Employees officially selected by the Union to act as union representatives shall be known as "stewards." The names of the employees selected as stewards and the names of union representatives shall be certified in writing to the City by the Union. Activities of stewards, except for the investigation or processing of a grievance, shall not unnecessarily interfere with their own or other employees' regular work assignments. Contacts between stewards and employees of the Union, except as provided herein, shall normally be made outside of regular working hours. Reasonable advance notice shall be given to the supervisor when a xxxxxxx desires to be away from his/her duty assignment.

Stewards and Representatives. The Company will recognize ten (10) Stewards, the Safety, Compensation and Pension Committees. In the event that a third shift is established, an adequate number of Stewards will be appointed. The Grievance Committee shall be composed of a panel of five (5)employees including the Union President or his representative, the Grievance Committee Chairman, and the Recording Secretary. Up to four (4) of the panel of five (5) may attend grievance meetings. The Stewards and members of the Grievance Committee shall have been placed on the Seniority List according to their rightfulestablished seniority. The Union shall notify the Company in writing of the names of its Officers and Stewards. It is understood that a Xxxxxxx has his work to perform on behalf of the Company and that will not leave his work without obtaining permission from his Xxxxxxx and such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. Union stewards may represent employees and engage in the activities described in ORS 243.798 with the following limitations: Union Stewards shall not interfere with other employees' regular work assignments, and, in some circumstances, due to working operations and/or other limitations on persons in a particular workplace, Stewards may be asked to provide notice and permission to enter particular work locations. Stewards will be granted up to 96 hours in total of all stewards per year to engage in the activities described in ORS 243.798 under paid time, not including successor contract negotiations as provided in section 2.9 below. Stewards are obligated to track their time with normal payroll process. Upon exhausting 96 hours per year, Stewards will need to use off duty time. Reasonable advance notice shall be given to the supervisor when a xxxxxxx desires to be away from his duty assignment. This section does not preclude mutual agreement between Human Resources and Union President, or designee, to provide additional time for stewards to gather information related to grievance handling and/or seek informal resolution to issues of concerns regarding the collective bargaining agreement on a case by case basis.

Stewards shall be permitted a reasonable amount of time during working hours to perform applicable Union duties related to the work being performed by the craft employees of his Contractor and not to the work being performed by other Contractors or their employees. 19.2 Representatives of the Unions shall have access to the Project site, provided they do not interfere with the work and provided that they comply with visitor security and safety rules, including checking in with the Contractor’s and Department’s on-site representatives prior to entering the Project site. The Contractor recognizes the right of access set forth in this subsection and such access will not be unreasonably withheld from an authorized representative of the Union.

  • Consultant’s Representative Consultant hereby designates XXXXXX, or his or her designee, to act as its representative for the performance of this Agreement (“Consultant’s Representative”). Consultant’s Representative shall have full authority to represent and act on behalf of the Consultant for all purposes under this Agreement.   • NOTICES AND REPRESENTATIVES Each individual identified as a Principal Representative on the Cover Page for this Agreement shall be the principal representative of the designating Party. All notices required or permitted to be given under this Agreement shall be in writing, and shall be delivered (A) by hand with receipt required, (B) by certified or registered mail to such Party’s principal representative at the address set forth below or (C) as an email with read receipt requested to the principal representative at the email address, if any, set forth on the Cover Page for this Agreement. If a Party delivers a notice to another through email and the email is undeliverable, then, unless the Party has been provided with an alternate email contact, the Party delivering the notice shall deliver the notice by hand with receipt required or by certified or registered mail to such Party’s principal representative at the address set forth on the Cover Page for this Agreement. Either Party may change its principal representative or principal representative contact information, or may designate specific other individuals to receive certain types of notices in addition to or in lieu of a principal representative, by notice submitted in accordance with this section without a formal amendment to this Agreement. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, notices shall be effective upon delivery of the written notice.

  • Designated Representatives (a) With the delivery of this Agreement, the Subordination Agent shall furnish to each Liquidity Provider and each Trustee, and from time to time thereafter may furnish to each Liquidity Provider and each Trustee, at the Subordination Agent’s discretion, or upon any Liquidity Provider’s or any Trustee’s request (which request shall not be made more than one time in any 12-month period), a certificate (a “Subordination Agent Incumbency Certificate”) of a Responsible Officer of the Subordination Agent certifying as to the incumbency and specimen signatures of the officers of the Subordination Agent and the attorney-in-fact and agents of the Subordination Agent (the “Subordination Agent Representatives”) authorized to give Written Notices on behalf of the Subordination Agent hereunder. Until each Liquidity Provider and each Trustee receives a subsequent Subordination Agent Incumbency Certificate, it shall be entitled to rely on the last Subordination Agent Incumbency Certificate delivered to it hereunder. (b) With the delivery of this Agreement, each Trustee shall furnish to the Subordination Agent, and from time to time thereafter may furnish to the Subordination Agent, at such Trustee’s discretion, or upon the Subordination Agent’s request (which request shall not be made more than one time in any 12-month period), a certificate (a “Trustee Incumbency Certificate”) of a Responsible Officer of such Trustee certifying as to the incumbency and specimen signatures of the officers of such Trustee and the attorney-in-fact and agents of such Trustee (the “Trustee Representatives”) authorized to give Written Notices on behalf of such Trustee hereunder. Until the Subordination Agent receives a subsequent Trustee Incumbency Certificate, it shall be entitled to rely on the last Trustee Incumbency Certificate delivered to it hereunder. (c) With the delivery of this Agreement, each Liquidity Provider shall furnish to the Subordination Agent, and from time to time thereafter may furnish to the Subordination Agent, at such Liquidity Provider’s discretion, or upon the Subordination Agent’s request (which request shall not be made more than one time in any 12-month period), a certificate (each, a “Provider Incumbency Certificate”) of any Responsible Officer of such Liquidity Provider certifying as to the incumbency and specimen signatures of any officer, attorney-in-fact, agent or other designated representative of such Liquidity Provider (in each case, the “Provider Representatives” and, together with the Subordination Agent Representatives and the Trustee Representatives, the “Designated Representatives”) authorized to give Written Notices on behalf of such Liquidity Provider hereunder. Until the Subordination Agent receives a subsequent Provider Incumbency Certificate, it shall be entitled to rely on the last Provider Incumbency Certificate delivered to it hereunder by the relevant Liquidity Provider.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.

City’s Representative shall have the power to act on behalf of the City for all purposes under this Contract.
