Temporary Work Location. When an employee is assigned to work at a location different than his/her regularly assigned work location, the County will either supply transportation for such travel or reimburse the employee for all mileage traveled in excess of the distance normally traveled by the employee during his/her normal home-to-work commute.
Temporary Work Location. If an employee is temporarily assigned to work at a location other than in his/her regularly assigned section or geographical area, he/she shall report to the new work location unless otherwise directed by the University
Temporary Work Location. A. If an employee is assigned to a temporary work location, the District has the option of:
(1) Requiring the employee to commute. For purposes of this section, a commute is measured from home to the worksite (i.e. portal to portal).
(2) Providing room and board at a District facility or through assigned public accommodations with reimbursement of eligible expenses.
(3) Placing the employee on overnight travel status as provided in Article 2 of the Administrative Code and below at Sub-Section D.
B. If an employee is required to commute from home to a new temporary work location, and the new work location causes a longer commute, then the District has the option of supplying a vehicle or paying mileage, as provided in Article 4.13 below, for the added distance.
C. If the commute referred to in Section B above is done on non- work time, then the time needed for the added distance shall be reported as time worked. Such time shall be calculated by dividing the added distance by 40 mph. In special circumstances, e.g., the distance is shorter but the commute is longer, the added travel time shall be determined by agreement between the employee and the supervisor.
Temporary Work Location. When a Worker is assigned to work at a location different from his/her regular work location, the County will either supply transportation or pay mileage based on the additional distance driven as the result of the temporary assignment. No mileage will be paid for home-to-work/work-to-home travel except for those miles in excess of the distance from the worker's home to the regular work location. Travel time will be paid only for travel between work locations when a worker is assigned to report to the regular work location before or after reporting to the temporary work location. Except in the case of emergency the County shall notify the worker and SEIU Local 521 at least two weeks prior to assigning any worker to a location different from his/her regular work location.
Temporary Work Location. When an employee is assigned to work at a location different from his/her regularly assigned work location, the County will either supply transportation for such travel or shall pay mileage in accordance with the Santa Xxxxx County Ordinance Code, Division X00, Xxxxxxx X00-00.
Temporary Work Location. Whenever an employee is required to report to a work location other than their usual place of reporting, the employee shall be paid at the rate of twenty cents (20¢) per mile from their usual reporting place for the use of the employee's personal transportation to and from the temporary work location. Compensation for mileage would only be if the distance to new reporting station was greater in length than previous reporting location for employee. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the County shall have the right to change the usual reporting location without being required to pay mileage, so long as the employee is given notification of the change in reporting location not less than 2 weeks prior to effective date of assignment to the new location, and provided that the change in assignment is for a period of not less than 3 calendar months. In the event the County requires an employee to work at a location other than their usual reporting place, as provided above, for a period in excess of 3 calendar months but fails to designate such reporting place as a usual reporting place, the County shall pay an additional $12.75 per day for each day after the first 3 months that such condition continues.
Temporary Work Location. When a nurse is assigned to work at a location different from the nurse's regularly assigned work location, the nurse shall be allowed to travel on County time to that work location. Time allotted for travel and mileage paid shall be based on actual miles traveled. Actual miles traveled shall be defined as all miles driven on County business. However, no mileage reimbursement shall be paid for miles traveled to the first field or work location of the day from the nurse's place of residence or from the last field or work location of the day to the nurse's place of residence, unless the miles traveled exceeds the distance normally traveled by the nurse during their normal home-to- work commute. In that case, the nurse may claim reimbursement for only the added mileage which exceeds their normal home-to-work location. The County will either supply transportation for such travel or shall pay mileage based on the above distances. The County assumes no obligation to the nurse who for self-convenience voluntarily reports to other than the regularly assigned work location.
Temporary Work Location. When an employee is assigned to work at a location different from her/his regularly assigned work location, she/he shall be allowed to travel on County time to that work location. Time allotted for travel shall be based on distance to and from her/his regular work location or home and the temporary work location, whichever is lesser. The County will either supply transportation for such travel or shall pay mileage based on the above distances. The County assumes no obligation to the employee who for self-convenience voluntarily reports to other than the regularly assigned work location.
Temporary Work Location. If an employee is assigned to a temporary work location, the District has the option of:

(2) Providing room and board at a District facility or through assigned public accommodations with reimbursement of eligible expenses.

Temporary Work Location. Upon forty-eight (48) hours notice to the employee, the Employer may temporarily assign employees from one work centre to another work centre. For assignments greater than five (5) consecutive days, the employer will solicit volunteers with the necessary skills for assignments to temporary work location. Volunteers will be the first to be assigned to temporary work location. If there are insufficient volunteers with the necessary skill, the employer will assign employees to temporary work locations on a rotational basis in order of seniority (e.g. senior choice/junior force basis). These assignments will be distributed as equitably as possible. These assignments may not exceed ten (10) consecutive work days per assignment without the agreement of the employee. All travel between locations will be completed on paid employer time for distance travelled over and above the employee’s normal travel to a maximum of forty-five (45) minutes each direction. 407 transponders will be provided when applicable. Employees who use their own personal vehicles to travel to the temporary work locations will be paid the corporate kilometre rate based on the distance over and above their normal travel. When it is reasonable to do so, the employee may remain at the temporary work location rather than commuting daily and the employer shall pay reasonable expenses for meals and accommodation. Notwithstanding the above the employer reserves any rights it may have to assign employees in unforeseen circumstances.
