Transfer Opportunities. The parties agree to facilitate the movement of employees to other stores with the interest of providing employees an opportunity to get closer to home. The following process shall be undertaken with the following principles in mind:
A. Unrestricted cross classification employees with six (6) or more months seniority at the date of application will be invited to electronically indicate which stores they would like to transfer to on a bi-annual basis (the Employer may develop a perpetual matching process, at which time the parties shall review and implement).
B. Transfers will be based on a 1 in, 1 out basis and shall be by seniority. By mutual agreement between the employee and Employer, employees who have electronically indicated their interest according to paragraph A, may choose to accept a one way transfer. One-way transfers must comply with paragraphs C to F.
C. Transfers will not result in vacancies, back-fill vacancies, or postings.
D. Transfers will not put any stores into financial difficulty.
E. The parties will consider the impact on other employees’ hours in the stores. Any issues identified in the Transfer Opportunity process shall be addressed through the Provincial Growing Our Future.

Transfer Opportunities. 1. When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the District may first offer the opportunity to transfer to District employees serving in the same class. If more than one employee is equally qualified and acceptable to fill the vacancy, the employee with the greatest seniority shall be chosen. In the event two or more employees have identical seniority, the employee to fill the position shall be selected by lot.
2. The District will interview those who apply for transfer prior to filling the vacancy.
Transfer Opportunities. Regular Full-Time Labourer 2 employees can request the opportunity to transfer to another Department/Division that employs Regular Full-Time Labourer 2 positions by:
a) Completing the approved “Transfer Application”.
b) Submitting the Transfer Application in person to the appropriate Superintendent(s) in the Department/Division.
c) Employees who have registered for the opportunity to transfer will be considered for a period of twelve (12) months.
d) An employee may submit a new request for the opportunity to transfer should a requested transfer not occur after a 12-month period.

Transfer Opportunities. Annually, by March 1, the District will electronically post on the Human Resources web page classroom teacher vacancies known to the District at that time. This list will be updated through the end of the school year as changes are known. The posting will include the school site and, the department for intermediate school vacancies.
Transfer Opportunities. The County shall continue the transfer information system and procedure which shall enable each represented employee to submit a transfer request form which will be used to notify the employee of future vacancies in specific locations and/or shifts and/or client populations.

Transfer Opportunities. The Court Transfer Program permits employees to transfer from one position to another without competitive examination, within their own specific classification at the Court’s discretion and based upon Court business needs. Notice of transfer opportunities will be made courtwide with a minimum period of one week during which employees may express interest. In addition to responding to notices of transfer opportunities when a need arises, employees may notify Human Resources of their interest in transferring to another division during the months of January and July each year by submitting the appropriate form (yet to be created). Names will be placed on a list and the supervisor of the desired division will contact the employee to meet with them to discuss the work of the unit and performance expectations so that the employee is fully apprised of the implications of a transfer in the future. Efforts will be made to allow the interested employee time to shadow an employee of the new division at the discretion of both the current and prospective supervisors.
Transfer Opportunities. The Transfer Program permits employees to transfer from one position to another without competitive examination, within the specific classification groupings listed in Exhibit L 3. Utilization of the Transfer Program is at the department’s discretion. An employee wishing to transfer must meet the minimum qualifications for the position desired, and must possess any certificates, licenses, education and experience required for that position. Interested employees will be interviewed by the appointing authority, who may request that candidates submit paperwork for the interview. Depending on the number of interested employees, the appointing authority may conduct a screening prior to the interviews.
