Union Time. The Union President or his designated representative(s) shall have available a bank of two hundred (200) hours maximum per contract year to conduct Union business. This means the combined hours used by the Union President and his designated representative(s) to conduct the above described activities shall not exceed two hundred (200) hours per contract year. Such leave shall be provided upon written notice by the Union submitted to the Department Head not less than one (1) calendar week in advance of the requested date, or in the event that the one week notice is not possible, it shall be provided with reasonable notice. The designated representative(s) will consist of any PAGE board member, the two Vice-Presidents, Chief Xxxxxxx, Secretary, and Treasurer. In the event that a Union representative is required to attend meetings, or otherwise conduct business during his off duty time, and the business occurs within eight (8) hours of the start of their work shift, the Union representative will be allowed to use part of all of their shift off using Union time. Union Time. Upon reasonable notice to the Business Manager, the president and up to two voting delegates of the bargaining unit shall be permitted to attend their state convention meeting for a maximum of three (3) days at their own expense but without loss of pay. Also, release time not to exceed a total of twenty-five (25) days per year for the Union, shall be made available for members serving on various committees and/or functions for the betterment of the organization. In a year during which a member of the bargaining unit is a member of the State Executive Board of the Union, up to an additional ten (10) hours of released time will be provided for that employee to meet those responsibilities. Consideration shall be given to a full membership meeting on school time if requested by the chapter.
Union Time. Section 38.1 Annual Union Time The Union is entitled to a total of forty (40) hours per year of this Agreement without loss of pay among the bargaining units the Union represents at the Sheriff’s Office to be used among Union officials or grievance representatives to attend to Union related activities. The Union may carry over up to sixteen (16) hours annual Union time to the following year. The carry-over is non-cumulative. The maximum available time in any given year shall be ninety-six (96) hours.
Section 38.2 Permission Any employee wishing to use such Union time shall request the permission of his supervisor and permission will not be unreasonably withheld.
Section 38.3 Restrictions Such activities shall not interfere with the performance of duties by other employees. Union release time will not result in overtime. The request to use Union time must be made to the Supervisor prior to its use and the amount of time used documented.
Union Time. Pursuant to M.S. 179A.07, Subd. 6, time off without pay shall be afforded to elected officials and appointed representatives of the Exclusive Representative for the purpose of conducting the duties of the Union. Reasonable effort shall be made by both parties to schedule negotiations, hearings, mediation, and/or arbitration at times other than those conflicting with the work schedule. In the event that it is agreed to by both parties or mandated by a third party that any of the aforementioned meetings be held during the working day, the Union shall reimburse the District in the amount paid to the employees’ substitutes for members of the Bus Drivers’ unit.
Union Time. The parties agree that in exchange for the Association’s agreement that its members will not track time worked in excess of the regular school schedule, the School District agrees that it will provide leave to any of its employees within the Association, up to a maximum of three school days for three employees, for time spent by the employee in the performance of duties or the provision of services for the Association. The parties agree that the agreement setout herein is a concession in compliance with NRS 288.225.
Union Time. When mediation or arbitration sessions will require the attendance of both parties to meet on work time, no salary deductions shall be made for such leave to the employees, but Local 284 agrees to reimburse the district for the
Union Time. The Union may designate employees from the bargaining unit to act as Union Stewards. The Union shall notify the Employer in writing of employees so designated and of changes in such designation. Employees designated as Union Stewards shall have the rights described by the grievance procedure of this Agreement. The President and Vice President of the Union will be allowed reasonable time off to perform duties related to their office and this Employer.
Union Time. A. Three (3) delegates from the Union shall be permitted to attend the annual OAPSE Conference as a professional meeting. A period of three (3) days off work shall be allotted to each attending delegate who shall lose no pay. Neither time nor pay may be counted against their personal days nor their absence record.
B. Unit members holding state office positions in the union will be granted up to thirty
Union Time. It is agreed between the parties that, for the duration of this Agreement, the

Section 16.1 The Union President and/or his designee may be granted time off with pay for the purpose of attending conferences, seminars, district and local meetings and other union activities. At no time shall such attendance result in the creation of overtime. Such time off must be requested and scheduled in advance. Union Time is subject to Township approval based upon operational and staffing needs of the Township.
