Vacation, Sick, and Military Leave. A. Employee shall accrue and have credited to his personal account vacation and sick leave credits at the same rate as other general employees of the District.
B. Employee shall be entitled to military reserve leave time pursuant to state law and District policy.
C. An employee who terminates his employment is entitled to a lump sum payment equal to 25% (twenty-five percent) of the pay attributed to the accumulated sick leave. An employee, who completes twenty years (20) of service with the District and submits notice one calendar year prior to his retirement, is entitled to a lump sum payment of 75% (seventy five percent) of the pay attributed to sick leave. The Board of Trustees may waive the one-year notice requirement. An employee who leaves the service of the District because of disability is entitled to 100% (one hundred percent) of the pay attributed to sick leave. The pay shall be computed on the basis of the employee's salary at the time he terminates his employment, retires from the District, or leaves with disability. An employee of the District who received a lump sum payment and who is again employed by the District shall not be credited with any leave for which he has been previously compensated.

Employee shall accrue, and have credited to his personal account, vacation and sick leave at the same rate as other general employees of Employer, per Composite “Exhibit A” attached hereto and made apart hereof. Employee shall be entitled to military reserve leave time pursuant to state law and City policy.
Vacation, Sick, and Military Leave. A. The Employee shall accrue vacation leave on an annual basis at the rate provided to any other City employees with similar length of service.
B. The Employee shall accrue sick leave at the rate provided to any other City employees up to a maximum cap of 520 hours.
C. In the event the Employee’s employment is terminated, either voluntarily or involuntarily, the Employee shall be compensated for all accrued vacation leave and accrued compensatory leave, but not sick leave.
Vacation, Sick, and Military Leave.
A. Upon commencing employment, Employee shall accrue sick leave and vacation leave on an annual basis, at a minimum, as provided or made available to the City Manager {or “(fill in proper term, e.g. management, executive) classification of employees, under the same rules and provisions applicable to other employees of the [local government]”}. The Employee shall be entitled to military reserve leave time pursuant to state law and [local government] policy.
Option 1 Beginning the first day of employment, Employee shall be credited with [#] accrued sick leave hours and [#] accrued vacation leave hours. Additionally, Employee shall accrue sick leave and vacation leave on an annual basis equivalent to an employee of the [local government] with (insert #) years of service.
B. Upon commencing employment, the Employee shall have access to a bank of 180 sick days to be used in the case of serious medical conditions. This leave can only be used to provide coverage during the waiting period between the onset of illness or disability and the point at which short or long term disability coverage takes effect and may be renewed after each occurrence.
C. The Employee is entitled to accrue all unused leave, without limit, and in the event the Employee’s employment is terminated, either voluntarily or involuntarily, the Employee shall be compensated for all accrued vacation leave, all paid holidays, and other executive leave.
D. The Employee shall be entitled to military reserve leave time pursuant to state law and [local government] policy.
Vacation, Sick, and Military Leave. A. Employee shall accrue fifteen days per year of vacation leave. Sick leave, one personal leave per calendar year, all paid holidays off shall be provided Employee the same as other general employees.
B. Employee shall be entitled to military reserve leave time pursuant to state law and City policy.
C. The Employee shall not accrue compensatory time.

Upon commencing employment, the Employee shall be credited with his accrued sick leave hours and accrued vacation leave hours as of the 6th day of January, 2022. In addition, beginning the first day of employment, Employee shall accrue sick leave and vacation leave on an annual basis, at a minimum, at the highest rate provided or available to any other employees, under the same rules and provisions applicable to other employees. All accrued but unused vacation and sick/personal leave of the Employee shall carry over from year to year during the term of this Agreement.
Vacation, Sick, and Military Leave. A. The Employee shall accrue vacation leave on an annual basis at the rate provided to any other City employees with similar length of service.
B. The Employee shall accrue sick leave at the rate provided to any other City employees up to a maximum cap of 520 hours. The cap is equal to half of the maximum cap allowed for other City employees and reflects the use by the Employee of a three-month credit towards determining years of service for calculating retirement benefits as provided for in rules of the City of Decatur Employees’ Retirement System.
C. In the event the Employee’s employment is terminated, either voluntarily or involuntarily, the Employee shall be compensated for all accrued vacation leave and accrued compensatory leave, but not sick leave.
Vacation, Sick, and Military Leave. City Administrator shall accrue vacation leave at the rate of 28 days per year (accrued at 18.6667 hours per month) and shall start with 112 hours of vacation leave. Because City Administrator has been front loaded vacation time, City Administrator will not accrue vacation leave during the first six (6) months of employment. City Administrator shall accrue sick leave at the same rate as other similarly situated employees. City Administrator is entitled to accrue all unused vacation or sick leave, with the same limits as apply to other City employees. If City Administrator's employment is terminated, either voluntarily or involuntarily, City Administrator shall be compensated for all accrued annual vacation leave time. Vacation leave accrued beyond the maximum of three hundred twenty hours (320) will be forfeited on the same basis as other City employees forfeit unused vacation leave. City Administrator shall be entitled to military reserve leave time pursuant to State law and City policy.
Vacation, Sick, and Military Leave. A. Upon commencing employment, the Employee shall be credited with twenty-five (25) days of vacation leave, sixteen (16) hours of personal leave, one (l) floating holiday, five (5) administrative days each calendar year, and three (3) days of bereavement leave for the death of an immediate family member. An "immediate family member" means the Employee's father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, husband, wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, stepson, stepdaughter, stepbrother, stepsister, half-brother, half-sister, grandparents, grandparents of Employee's spouse or grandchildren and legal guardian. Employee, upon request, shall be granted up to an additional two (2) days of administrative leave with pay for the purpose of attending the funeral of the employee's spouse, child or parents. This administrative leave is specific to bereavement and is in addition to any administrative leave granted by this contract.
B. No earned vacation time will be carried beyond December 31 of any year except in extremely unusual cases and unless expressly approved beforehand by the Mayor. Except as otherwise provided herein, any vacation time unused by December 31 will not be paid for and will be lost by the Employee.
C. Employee shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave each month for a total of ninety-six
Vacation, Sick, and Military Leave. A. Upon commencing employment, the Employee shall commence with a vacation bank of 10 days (80 hours) and a sick bank of 5 days (40 hours). Beginning on the effective date of this Agreement, Employee shall be designated as a level 2 employee for purposes of calculating leave benefits under the Riverton City Employee Policies and Procedures Manual. Employee shall accrue sick and vacation leave on an annual basis at the rate provided to any other employees in accordance with established policy and procedure.
B. The Employee is entitled to accrue all unused leave according to established policy and procedure. In the event the Employee’s employment is terminated, either with or without cause as described in Section 9, the Employee shall be compensated for all accrued vacation time to date of termination.
C. The Employee shall be entitled to military reserve leave time pursuant to state law and the City’s policy.
