WORK BY NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES. 17.01 Supervisors and other employees who are not subject to the provisions of this Agreement shall not perform any work which is normally performed by employees who are subject to the provisions of this Agreement except in the following situations: (a) in cases of emergency; (b) in the instruction or training of employees, or in the instruction or training of the supervisor; (c) in cases of troubleshooting, process improvement (with maintenance present), equipment failure, plant utility failures; (d) in cases of prototype validation or engineering changes and the machine or machines are operating satisfactorily and approved for production. A new machine will not be approved for production until a member of the bargaining unit has been trained to operate it. (e) on an exceptional basis a disruption of delivery of product to the customer will occur. But will oversee activity.

WORK BY NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES. It is recognized by the Association and the University that supervisors, temporary employees, student employees, and other non-bargaining unit employees also perform work of the same type and nature as that performed by bargaining unit members and that this Agreement does not restrict any such work by an non-bargaining unit employee. However, the University does agree that it will not increase the size of its non-bargaining unit work force for the purpose of replacing bargaining unit employees who are laid off.
WORK BY NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES. With the exception of substitute employees, temporary employees and students who are trained and supervised by Student Nutrition personnel, as well as administrators and faculty for hands-on, on-the-job experience with students and for promotional purposes, there are to be no food service duties performed by non- Bargaining Unit employees. Such duties being the preparation and serving of foods, collection of all monies, cleaning, and sanitation in food preparation areas, as well as record keeping associated with these duties, e.g., order forms, tickets, charge slips as assigned, cash reconciliation, daily meal forms, evaluations (not including supervisory evaluations), inventories.
WORK BY NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES. 24.01 Non-Bargaining Unit personnel shall not be permitted to do work normally performed by Bargaining Unit employees except: a) In an emergency when regular employees are not available, either by call-in or transfer. b) In the instruction and training of employees. c) To aid in determination of problems and required corrective actions.
WORK BY NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES. Non-bargaining unit employees shall not, as part of their jobs, perform the work of an employee covered by this agreement. Such non-bargaining unit employees may perform opera- tions for the purpose of information or instruction as may be the discharge of his normal may also do experimental work, providedthat the act of performing the aforementioned operations in itself does not reduce the hours of work or pay of an employee. When a non-bargaining unit employee interrupts an employee's job and has the employee stand by while he performs the work normally performed by the employee, the employee shall be paid his regular earnings level while the non-bargaining unit employee is doing his work. The Company agrees to provide the Union with a list of supervisory personnel every six (6) months.
WORK BY NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES. The Employer may assign non-bargaining unit employees (e.g., command officers and deputies) to perform bargaining unit work in emergencies or other circumstances when the Employer deems it necessary to augment the regular workforce on a temporary basis. The Employer may also assign non-bargaining unit employees to fill in for absent corrections officers, provided the Employer has first offered such opportunities to off-duty corrections and court security officers.
WORK BY NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES. Non-bargaining unit employees shall not be assigned to work normally performed by employees in the Bargaining Unit except as otherwise set forth in the provisions of this Agreement. It is expressly agreed and understood that non-bargaining unit employees be used as follows. 1. For the purposes set forth in Article 16, Hours of Work; 2. During periods of instruction, testing and emergencies; 3. When replacing employees for the remainder of a work shift they have started but do not complete; 4. During the time required to replace a bargaining unit member who is absent from the job with another bargaining unit member (the Employer agrees to make a reasonable effort to secure replacements); and 5. Augmenting the regular work force to meet the requirements of the Employer that may be occasioned by employee terminations or dismissals, temporary increased workloads, or other conditions that may create short-term staffing requirements.

WORK BY NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES. 1. Supervisory employees excluded from the Bargaining Unit shall not perform the work assigned to Bargaining Unit employees except in the following situations: a. When regular bargaining unit employees are not available. b. In the instruction or training of employees. c. In temporary work situations as outlined in Section J below. d. In work situations covered by the College Work-Study Program or any other similar program (s). 2. Supervisory and other employees excluded from the Bargaining Unit shall not be used to deprive a Bargaining Unit employee of overtime, nor shall their services be used for the purpose of replacing a Bargaining Unit employee.

The Employer agrees that it will not increase the size of its non-bargaining unit work force to replace bargaining unit employees. Section 17.02 The University agrees that the reorganization of its operation and/or the elimination of Bargaining Unit positions(s) shall not be arbitrarily undertaken for the purpose of deliberately eroding the Bargaining Unit. Moreover, the University agrees that the Union will be notified in advance of a reorganization that will result in the elimination of bargaining unit positions, and will be afforded the opportunity to discuss the matter in Special Conference prior to implementation of reorganization.
