Callback Time. 19849.1 Allows DPA to set rules and standards for callback time based on prevailing practices and the needs of State service.
Callback Time. 19849.1 Allows CalHR to set rules and standards for callback time based on prevailing practices and the needs of State service.
Callback Time. Callback pertains to work performed outside an Employee’s regularly scheduled workday. Callback does not pertain to work time consecutively annexed to the end of the scheduled workday. Callback does not pertain to scheduled overtime. An Employee called back under this section shall be paid at the overtime hourly rate for the time actually worked if in excess of the minimum. Except for those receiving stand-by compensation (See Section 5. below), employees shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours work at their overtime rate. Employees in stand-by status shall be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) hours work at their overtime rate for the first callback in a stand by day (as defined in Section 5 (d)) and two (2) hours work for additional callbacks in that day. Employees in stand-by status, working remotely on a SCADA system, shall be guaranteed a minimum of one (1) hour work at their overtime rate for a callback in a stand by day. The Employer may, at its sole discretion, elect to hold over an Employee at the end of the workday if the Employee has been called in to work less than four hours prior to the start of the Employee’s regular shift, is eligible for callback pay and has not worked for the guaranteed hours during the callback period.
Callback Time. 5.3.1 An employee called into work on a day when the employee is not scheduled to work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours of pay at the appropriate rate of pay in compliance with paragraph one of the section on "Overtime." Any employee called back to work after completion of his/her regular assignment, shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours of pay at the appropriate rate of pay, irrespective of the actual time required to be worked.
Callback Time. An employee who is called to duty during his/her scheduled off-duty time shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s base pay rate. An extension or early report to a regularly scheduled shift for duty does not qualify the employee for the two (2) hour minimum. If the callback work assignment and the employee’s regular work shift overlap, the employee shall be paid the callback rate of time and one-half (1½) until his/her regular shift time.
Callback Time. Callback shall pertain to work performed outside an Employee's regularly scheduled work day. Callback shall not pertain to work time annexed consecutively to one end or the other of the scheduled work day. An Employee called to duty within four (4) hours of the start of his regularly scheduled work day shall be paid overtime to the start of the regular work shift whether he works the entire period or not. An Employee called back under this section shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at one and one half times the straight time hourly rate, except as otherwise provided herein. Callback shall not pertain to scheduled overtime. Scheduled overtime, for the purposes of this article, is work performed outside an Employee’s regularly scheduled work day that is known to the Employee more than 8 (eight) calendar days before the beginning of the work. Furthermore, scheduled overtime is for an event paid for by the City and is not an extra duty detail. Scheduled overtime shall be paid as follows: Employees working scheduled overtime shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours at one and one half times the straight time hourly rate, or for actual time worked if the work is greater than two (2) hours. Employees working scheduled overtime that begins within two (2) hours of the start of a regular work shift shall be paid overtime to the start of the regular work shift regardless of the amount of time worked. Employees working scheduled overtime that begins at the conclusion of a regular work shift shall be paid for the actual time worked.
Callback Time. Any employee called in to work on a day when the employee is not 14 scheduled to work or called back to work after completion of his/her regular assignment, 15 shall be compensated for at least 2 hours of work at the appropriate overtime rate of pay, 16 compensation pay subject to verification of actual time of work. 17
Callback Time. 1. Callback time shall be that time an employee is called back to work by the Fire Chief or his designee before or after a normal work shift when an employee is required to work on normal time off. The time actually worked, or a minimum of three (3) hours, may be paid or accrued as compensatory time off. Calculation subject to the 212-hour limit provided in Article 5, A (2).
Callback Time. Callback shall pertain to work performed outside an Employee's regularly scheduled work day. Callback shall not pertain to work time annexed consecutively to one end or the other of the scheduled work day. An Employee called to duty within four (4) hours of the start of his regularly scheduled work day shall be paid overtime to the start of the regular work shift, whether he works the entire period or not. Callback shall not pertain to scheduled overtime. An Employee called back under this section shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at one and one half times the straight time hourly rate, except as otherwise provided herein.
Callback Time. Callback time shall be defined as unscheduled time worked after an employee has been released from his regular shift, and does not connect a succeeding shift. Any employee required to work after being called back will be assured a minimum of two (2) hours’ pay and will be compensated at the appropriate overtime rate of 1 ½ times their regular salary per hour. An employee who is being compensated pursuant to this Article for the assured minimum two (2) hours compensation shall remain on duty for the entire duration the employee is receiving compensation. At an employee’s request, and with the approval of the Chief of Emergency Services, or his designee, the employee may forfeit the assured minimum compensation as provided by this Article and shall be compensated for actual time worked at an appropriate rate pursuant to the overtime provisions of this Agreement (i.e., an employee can go home early and get paid for actual time spent working, rather than being forced to remain for the minimum two hours). Emergency Response Callback Time Shall be defined as an employee who is off-duty and who responds to an emergency within Hopewell Valley. The employee shall be compensated for all such Callback Time at the employee’s overtime rate of pay and such time shall be treated as “overtime” for all other purposes pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, regardless of whether or not the time would otherwise qualify as “overtime.”
