Changes in Shift. Any work schedule changes of one and a half (1 ½) or more hours. Such changes will be done in accordance with this Agreement.

Changes in Shift. A change in shift shall be defined as any extended change in work schedules or shifts of one (1) or more hours. Such changes will be done in accordance with this Agreement. This Section does not apply to employees who have flexible schedules.
Changes in Shift. An employee shall be given 24 hours' notice in the event of a change in his shift. Where 24 hours' notice is not given, employees shall be paid at the overtime rate for the first shift. If an employee is assigned work part way through a shift that requires him to work on a different shift that day, the employee and his supervisor will consult to determine whether the employee should complete his regular shift or leave work early.
Changes in Shift. 12 The starting time of a unit member’s work shift shall not be altered within his/her assigned 13 workweek, except with the mutual agreement of the unit member and the supervisor, or under 15 in unit members’ assigned starting times, the supervisor shall consult with the unit members 16 involved and provide them with at least fifteen (15) workdays prior written notice before 17 implementing the change. 18 The immediate supervisor shall rotate overtime assignments among unit members who 19 desire to work overtime.
Changes in Shift. When filling job openings in a seniority unit, shift preference may be exercised on the basis of seniority within the seniority unit and job classification by first realigning the seniority unit in which the available job exists. Upgradings will then take place in accordance with the increase in working force procedure. Shift preference cannot be exercised on posted jobs. By mutual consent, qualified employees absent due to illness will be given consideration at the time shift realignment takes place.

Notice Required on Change of Rest Days In the event that an employee is assigned to a job which changes the employee's scheduled rest days from the job he presently occupies, overtime rates shall be paid for work performed on such rest days for the first week only of the work schedule of the new job, if sufficient notice is not given by instructing the employee to that effect (or by posting) prior to the scheduled rest days of the job he presently occupies. For the purpose of this article, sufficient notice shall mean the greater of two (2) calendar days or a number of days equal to the number of rest days of the work schedule for the job he presently occupies. Pay for Work on Rest Days Notwithstandingthe provisions of Article overtime rates shall be paid to employees for work performed at the request of the Company on the first and subsequent rest designated for the job which he presently occupies. The provisions of this paragraph shall apply also to General Holidays or days observed in lieu.
Changes in Shift. ‌ Scheduled shift preferences will be conducted every twelve (12) months on the last Monday in March. Shift preferences will be conducted by seniority within the job classification, with Management determining staffing needs for the area. Employees must be in their job classification for the duration of six (6) months to be eligible. At the time of the shift preference, all eligible active employees will be notified by Management and given two (2) weeks to respond. During an increase in force, Management will hire into the shift for which there is a vacancy. Additional shift preferences will be subject to mutual agreement between the Union and Management. Janitorial will also conduct a shift preference during an increase in force.

  • CHANGES IN SCOPE Any changes in the scope of the Services to be performed under this Contract shall be in the form of a written amendment to this Contract, mutually agreed to and signed by both parties, specifying any such changes, fee adjustments, any adjustment in time of performance, or any other significant factors arising from the changes in the scope of Services.

  • Changes in Service This Agreement is made in good faith based upon the present and projected conditions and the quality of the equipment and/or Property, as well as its present ownership and management. Should changes in any of these elements occur which the Judicial Council believes may adversely affect the Program, the Judicial Council reserves the right to renegotiate this Agreement or terminate pursuant to the termination for cause provision, as set forth herein, without penalty or prejudice.

  • Changes in Services The parties agree and acknowledge that any Provider may make changes from time to time in the manner of performing the applicable Services if such Provider is making similar changes in performing similar services for itself, its Affiliates or other third parties, if any, and if such Provider furnishes to the Recipient substantially the same notice (in content and timing) as such Provider provides to its Affiliates or other third parties, if any, respecting such changes. In addition, and without limiting the immediately preceding sentence in any way, and notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, such Provider may make any of the following changes without obtaining the prior consent of the Recipient: (i) changes to the process of performing a particular Service that do not adversely affect the benefits to the Recipient of such Provider’s provision or quality of such Service in any material respect or materially increase the charge for such Service; (ii) emergency changes on a temporary and short-term basis; and (iii) changes to a particular Service in order to comply with applicable Law or regulatory requirements.

  • Changes in Work A. Work Previously Submitted as Satisfactory. If the Engineer has submitted work in accordance with the terms of this contract but the State requests changes to the completed work or parts thereof which involve changes to the original scope of services or character of work under the contract, the Engineer shall make such revisions as requested and as directed by the State. This will be considered as additional work and paid for as specified under Article 4, Additional Work.

  • Changes in Writing Other than in connection with the addition of additional Subsidiaries, which become parties hereto by executing a supplement hereto in the form attached as Annex I, neither this Guaranty nor any provision hereof may be changed, waived, discharged or terminated orally, but only in writing signed by each of the Guarantors and the Administrative Agent.

  • Changes in Ownership A-E agrees that if there is a change or transfer in ownership, including but not limited to merger by acquisition, of A-E’s business prior to completion of this Contract, the new owners shall be required under terms of sale or other transfer to assume A-E’s duties and obligations contained in this Contract and to obtain the written approval of County of such merger or acquisition, and complete the obligations and duties contained in the Contract to the satisfaction of County. A- E agrees to pay, or credit toward future work, County’s costs associated with processing the merger or acquisition.

  • Changes in Classification The regular wage rate of the employee in effect on July 1 and January 1 will determine his entitlement to Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverages as outlined in the schedule contained in Exhibit “B”. Where an employee’s regular duties consist of more than one job, his regular rate shall be deemed to be the average of the rates applicable to such jobs.
